Great. He completed the work as the "Big Deal' described.

Called to set up appointment. Arrived as scheduled and did a fine job.

The vendor was quick to respond and punctual with our appointment (I was late getting there). I found that the aeration done was very shallow and barely left dents in the ground in most areas. I would have preferred a deeper aeration. As for fertilization, I was not at home when the service was provided and did not see the fertilizer placed and saw no evidence of a fertilizer being placed, but I cannot say that it did not happen. Over all I was pleased with the service. I would use them again, but would be specific about my wishes and try to be there as I had expected to be.

I scheduled an appt. I got a call a day before cancelling the appt. and being told he would call back to reschedule after the weekend. He never called me back, so I called him. I tried to schedule an appt. with a 2 hour window, but he told me he couldn't guarantee a time. I needed to be able to put my dog in the house. He ended up showing up first thing in the morning and without a knock on the door, just started working. I know they aerated, but am not convinced they even fertilized, as I did not see any visible fertilizer in my yard. When they were done, they just left.

I called him, he came, did the job and left. Quick service and happy with it. I have also used him again.

Ken's Lawn service arrived in response to my call on the Angies List "Big Deal" for 3 tons of landscaping rock. We showed him the area we wanted done and he estimated he would need four tons and said he would call when he got back to the office to check his schedule and set a date for delivery and installation. He called back the next day and we set a date of 10/31. On the morning of 10/31 Star Nursery delivered the rocks and just before noon Ken's Lawn Service came - worked quickly and placed all the landscape rock then cleaned all the cement walkways and area in front of our property where the rocks had been dumped. We were very pleased with the results.

The are coming the week of Oct 29, 2012.

Ken and and assistant arrived a few minutes prior to appointment and got right to work. Lawn was aerated and fertilized. I asked for a section to be gone over a second time due to heavy thatch, no problem. Fast, friendly, and cleaned up nicely. Three weeks later my lawn looked perfect. Will call again.

They showed up on time and performed the work while I was not home.

Ken complained about coming to the East side of town. Stays on the west. My husband caught his helper urinating in our backyard. He also broke a sprinkler, which he repaired, and pulled tomatores off my plants

Set up the appt. They called to say they would be a little late. Not much. We had gotten a previous estimate from another service for $2700!!! And they were going to dig up 30 ft of our front yard!!! Ken's found and fixed the leak within 2 hours, dug 1 hole and only charged us $100!!! These guys are great and we whole heartedly recommend them to anyone who is asking and to plenty who don't ask!!! Try them. You'll be thrilled!

Two men came out to check the meter. They really didn't do anything. They didn't do any yard work and couldn't find a leak anywhere. I would not use them again.

Ken did a good job as usual. He showed up on time and areated my lawn. I will continue to use him.

There was a slight miscommunication in the beginning as Ken showed up with an aerator thinking he was at a different job instead of coming to see what I needed in the way of cleanup. Once that was cleared up he looked at my backyard & said it could easily be taken care of and we set a time & date. When the scheduled date arrived, he was somewhat late but did call to let me know. Fortunately this did not cause a conflict with anything on my end. He & his helper managed to take care of everything I needed & put all the debris in my trash bags & garbage cans for disposal. His lack of punctuality & slight disorganization with appointments might put some off but for simple jobs that do not require exact timing, he is well suited.

Late arrival, did not perform service and really didn't try much. I refused to pay and sent him on his way.

I am very pleased with their work performed every other week! I recommend them!

I initially used this company on a bid deal but because of the quick response and quick service, I have called them back and additional 2 timesl

Ken showed up on time, he was courteous and performed the job as per the requirements. He even gave me a crash course on the configuration of drip system. Would definitely use their service again.

The appointment was for seven o'clock in the morning. Ken called around seven forty five and asked wheat it was that I wanted done - I had already told him in a previous conversation. He said his back hurt but he would send another guy. From the tone of his voice it sounded like he really didnt want the job. Twenty minutes later he called back and said he couldn't get the other guy to come out and could he use a weed whacker to take down the bamboo? He said he would come over and take a look. He arrives at around eight forty five with a guy. I tell him I just want it cut down, carried to the front and cut into three foot pieces so I can bundle them up and take them to the curb. He agrees. I notice that the other guy is the one doing all the work. With a chainsaw, the bamboo is coming down quickly. With one man cutting and the other carrying to the side yard, it shouldn't have taken very long. He says he has string to tie the sections together. My handyman arrives (on time as scheduled). We go to over to Lowes, which take about a half our longer that expected. When I get back to the house, Ken and his man are in their truck leaving. The bamboo is piled in the back where it was cut down. Instead of carrying it to the side gate and then cutting it into three foot chunks, they left It all in the back yard. None of it is tied together. Ken asks me if I want them to haul it away. He says he will but it will cost more. I didn't hire him to haul it away. I just wanted it cut down, taken to the side, and cut into smaller pieces to be tied together. This was not rocket science and two men working together could have gotten it done. Three hours of work dived by two men equals an hour and a half. A half hour to cut the bamboo down and an hour to carry it to the side of the house by the gate and the cut it into pieces using the chainsaw was more than enough time to get the job done right. They 1) arrived late; 2) did as little as possible 3) didn't follow directions and left a mess in the backyard which I now have to clean up. If he really didn't want to take the job, I wish he would have just said so in the first place. I would not hire this company again. Ever.

It was very difficult to contact the company. When I finally was able to make contact with them they set a time for them to come by and perform the service but then they didn't show up and they didn't call to cancel or reschedule. I called them to find out what happened and then rescheduled for a future date. The future date came but it rained so they called me and rescheduled. On the rescheduled date I waited for them at the appointed time and they didn't show up so I called and they said they would be there in an hour. I went to get lunch and returned to wait for more than another hour. I called again and they said they were still running behind so they should be at my house in another hour. Another hour went by and I called again. This time they said they were around the corner so they should be right there. Another hour went by before they actually showed up. All together I waited 5 hours past the original appointment time before they finally showed up. I guess I could have forgiven the lateness if their work justified it but unfortunately it was mediocre. I had purchased one of the "Angie's deals" from this company otherwise I would have cancelled the service request and gone with a different company.

Arrived late.They kept asking each other what they should do (the owner and the employee)Did not trim any of the bushes.We have a Southwestern landscape that is mostly rocks with a handful of trees and some bushes.It should have been a simple job.They spent approximately 30-40 minutes on the property.

I want my money back. Too many no shows and no work has been done.

It took about 2 hours for them to do this project. Before I could let them I needed more work done they were gone. After he was here I got a letter from the homeowners association letting me know that he came in through the exit as we live in a gated community. The quality of his work as well as his punctuality were poor. I do not feel like I got my moneys worth from the coupon. I gave them another chance to make the work right and he came out a 2nd time and trimmed the palm trees which took him about 30 minutes. He then wanted a check for $75. I paid him just to get him to leave the area. I would not recommend this company and they are extremely unprofessional.

nI bought the deal Ken was offering for $89.00 for 3 hours. Ken and one other person showed up on time. I asked him how long I had and he said 1.5 hours for 2 men. As soon as they got here,the other guy proceeded to trim one of my trees. I went in the house and when I came out Ken had left. I asked the guy where Ken went and he said to Star Nursery. I said why, and that I paid for 2 guys for 1.5 hours, and he told me that Ken went to get something to tie the cut tree branches with. I said I had something already and that it wasn't necessary for him to have left.. Ken came back about a half hour later and I told him I expected him to stay longer because he left for a half an hour and he agreed. I asked Ken and the other guy several times to cut my trees so the branches were not hitting the wall and that was not completed properly. He said he was going to repair a hole in the sprinkler tubing that was leaking and he left without doing it. There was pine needles left all under the small Oleander bushes in the front yard. I asked him to blow the patio too but that was never done either.After that trip to the nursery to get something to tie up the cut branches, it was never tied up, and I just hope that the garbage men will pick up the pile without them being tied. Also, he had nothing in his truck to repair some sprinkler hose that was leaking. I supplied the hose and the connectors. They didn't check any of the sprinkler heads after blowing out some of the pine needles and weeding around the Oleanders either. Oh, and I asked him how much it would be to come twice a month to do maintenance and he quoted me $50 but his website says $45 (my yard is very small but has lots of bushes). It wasn't a terrible job but I would not hire the company again. Overall too sloppy and requires to much supervision from me and even then the job was not done properly. UPDATE 6/18/2012: The Garbage man would not pick up the pile of tree trimmings that Ken left because the pile was not tied up. I will have to do it myself. I'm still not sure why it wasn't done by Ken or his staff. I will never rehire or recommend.
