Mr. Kemet was extremely nice & professional. He always called when he was coming & showed up on time. He installed an exterior flood-light on a switch for me & he was detailed, & cleaned up his worksite better than when he arrived. I will hire him again when I have electrical work.

Another company we used recommended Kemet Electric. I called and the owner was very friendly. He gave me a rough estimate over the phone to make sure that he did not waste his time or mine. Then he agreed to come out the next day to look at the job and give me a final estimate. The owner showed up at the time promised, looked at the job and confirmed his telephone estimate. He came prepared to do the work right then which was a pleasant surprise. In doing the work he and his helper were extremely conscious of not making a mess. They spread drop cloths across their work area and wore booties on their shoes so as not to soil the carpet. They were careful to install the lights exactly where we wanted. The work was done in less than an hour and a half. We were very satisfied with their pricing and their professionalism and plan to us ethem in the future for some exterior security lighting project.

We called several companies for estimates to install in 3 outdoor lights, 2 new outdoor lights on the exterior patio column and swap 1 existing light in patio area near back door to match the new lights. Kemet Electric gave us a fair price for the work we requested. Another company gave us an estimate that was $850 higher and said it would be impossible to do what we wanted to do and suggested another alternative - the $850 higher alternative. The work was completed just as we wanted it. The work was done a few days after the estimate. Kamau called the night before our appointment to reconfirm which was reassuring. He also called about 10-15 minutes before he arrived, did the work as we requested in a timely manner. He was very conscientious about keeping the inside of our home clean, while he accessed our attic to pull wires. It was a two man job, Kamau came with his helper (sorry, I forgot his name) and did the work efficiently, within a timely manner and was very pleasant. The biggest surprise was that the bill was exactly as quoted! I?m so tired of service people changing the price for an assortment of reasons. I would refer him to friends, family and Angie?s list members. Kamau is very good at what he does and if you need an experienced and skilled electrician - KAMAU BAKARI is your guy! Thank you!

Great! He answered his phone both times that I called and called me just before he was on his way to the house so I was not surprised. They walked into the house, looked at the lights that weren't working and had it fixed in 10 mins.

This is a 55yr old home in Las Vegas. I was having a water heater installed but the plumbing company said they couldn't do it because there was no ground to the outlet. The plumber left. Since I had used Kamau from Kemet Electric before (and was very satisfied) I called him. Amazingly he just happened to be in my neighborhood and responded very quickly. He had to do a lot to get the ground done since this is an old home with a very old electric panel.He didn't charge a weekend or emergency fee and still accepted my $20 Angies List coupon. Because Kamau was able to respond so quickly, the plumber was able to come back and continue his installation the same day. I know this was just luck, that he was nearby on a Saturday, but I can't say enough good things about him.

Perfect, he was 5 mins early (a rare for most contractors) and got to work. He fix a fan that I installed incorrectly free of charge. Ran the wires, installed the new light box and even put up the light fixture. All and all, great job, he very knowledgeable and will definitely be calling him for any future electrical jobs that are needed.

I called at about 8 am and I got the owner on the phone and I told him my problem and he said they would be over in about 2 hours. They showed up at about 10am and found the problem and they had to go to home depot and get the part. About 1030am they showed back up and fixed the problem and also changed another breaker that was bad for no charge. The job was done at about 11am and the charge was $175 and I gave him my $20 coupon from angie's list and he honored that. The job cost me $155 but they showed real professionalism and both of the men knew their job. If I need any electrical work done again I would call Kemet electric again.

They were on time, courteous, thorough, and wanted to provide an estimate that would produce the best final product for me. Nothing that would be unsitely on the exterior of the home. Cost estimate seemed very reasonable at no cost to me. They left me a written estimate and said to call when ready and they would honor the cost estimate as long as I called within about three months. When I'm ready to have the work done, I will call them.

Job was completed on schedule and on budget. Completely satisfied with the quality. Kamau is professional and likeable. Got quotes from several A rated Angie's List electricians. Kamau's was significantly (30%~40%) lower than the other.

I called Mr. Bakari to hang a ceiling fan and a chandelier around noon and to my surprise he said he would be able to come out that afternoon. He called to confirm prior to arriving. He began to hang the chandelier and ran into a few minor setbacks, however, he was happily willing to work through them to complete the project. He was careful to keep any mess to a minimum and cleaned both areas up after he finished. Most importantly, he is very friendly, I didn't feel the obligatory awkwardness that you feel when you hire someone to do work in your home. I will use him for any future electrical work I may have along with recommending him to my friends.

What a great team! Kamau Bakari was really nice, we called him yesterday morning and he was their early afternoon! He took apart the outside light and had it diagnosed, repaired and done in about 20 minutes, he gave us his $20.00 off coupon too. What great service and really a nice guy, I would recommend him highly to anyone that needs really good service and resonable and honest. We will definatly use him again if we have any electrical problems!

I called Kamau on a Monday and Tuesday he came for a brief inspection to see what I needed. On Wednesday he and a helper came and took apart two service panels looking for loose neutral connections. He also found an unused rheostat in the living room that he disconnected. He could not find the exact source of the problem and gave me an estimate of what it might take in the future to follow every wire in every conduit to find. The problem seems less severe (although sometimes re-occurring) than before he came. He also replaced 2 outside lighting fixtures. He only charged me $85 for the service call and apologized that he couldn't solve all my problems completely. Even though he was unabe to find the cause, I was completely satisfied with his honest assement of my situation and the upfront explanation of what it will cost to hunt down the problem. I will definitely use him again.

I call Mr. Bakari on a Wednesday and he was willing to come to my home that same day. However, I had other plans so we arranged an appointment for the next morning. He called promptly the next morning and arrived within 30 minutes. He and his helper were polite, thorough and completed the work in a short period of time. I asked him about some other things that I might want to have done and he provided me with a price and told me exactly how he would accomplish the work I was inquiring about. I was very impressed with the whole experience and will definitely use him again.

I made an appointment with Kumau and he showed up on time, which is important to me. I found him to be very patient with all my questions. He was knowledgeable, courteous and honest and gave me a reasonable price for what I needed done.

Called Kamau on Tuesday and asked him to install on Wednesday. He rearranged his schedule to accomodate. Arrived, provided an estimate and began the work. Very professional installation including careful cutting and replacement of wallboard. Very honest and straightfoward. Best electrition I have ever used.
