Jimmy came out and we went through the front and back yard discussing where new sprinklers were needed and where shrubblers would work. Due to a leak in the sprinkler box Jimmy called Erik of Free Flo Plumbing who was at my home within 20 minutes. It was a persistent leak so Erik came out twice more.....never even waking me up!! Once the leak was fixed Jimmy and his crew could start. We had Jeff, Jimmy and Timmy at various times. Also Dakota to supervise the crew when the bosses had other jobs to do. At last my sidewalk is no longer getting soaked. Finally my lawn is greening up. The new fruit trees I had planted are happily growing. I am extremely satisfied with Jeff and his crew and when we finally go to desert landscaping they will be the top of my list to call!

I called for a quote and Jim or Tim came by to look things over. I had actually used this company to put in both my front and backyard so I have faith in their work. Also, I rely on their advise for plants. I have a pool in the back and they had set me up with some fantastic trees that do not drop leaves and I still get a wonderful lush area. Anyhow, after the walk through I received the quote broken down by front and back and it was very reasonable to me. The Friday before the work was to get done, someone came by to check and schedule a "pre" spraying on some of the problem weed areas. Very quick and professional and pleasant interactions. On the day of service, the team of three (Frank, Modesto and Jose) showed up at 8am ready to work! I showed Frank around and we discussed the trimming. I was concerned about my Sumac and the large canaries but he understood and was thoughtful about not taking too much off or cutting the intricate stems of the Sumac. The cleaning and trimming was exceptional. They were all very nice and unobtrusive. later in the morning one of the managers stopped by with the plants and per their recommendations, they were great fits. I was surprised by how clean everything was and with all the activity, the pool was still in great shape. Modesto and Jose even took the time to skim the pool for remnants. I think that Frank has done the best job at trimming my trees than anyone has before. I have two eucalyptus trees and one gets kind of beat up by the wind. He thinned it out and took some of the pressure off a certain area and it looks great. I am very pleased and of course would recommend them. I've used them 3 times already! It was a hot day and it took all three of them all day to complete since there was so much detail work. I felt good about keeping them in ice water and gatoraid. They were so pleasant that I went out and brought back lunch for them. Use these folks. Prices are fair and they really do a good job.

One of the reasons I keep coming back to Jeff's, is their representative Tim. He is incredibly reliable. He always holds to his word. If they're are any obstacles or changes in the work, I know Tim will take care of it and keep me up to date. The people at Jeff's are very knowledgable on desert landscapes. And they work very closely with the water district to ensure reimbursement and the employee's at Jeff's take education classes to stay up to the water district requirements and procedures. I highly reccomend their landscaping services.

Excellent from estimate to job completion. It was according to plan and executed flawlessly and for the price quoted.

Jimmy was prompt, knowledgeable, and great to work with. His crew is neat, hardworking, and thorough. We loved their work and now use them for regular service, all irrigation matters, installed build in fertilizer system, re-landscaped some areas. I would highly recommend and they sure have a happy customer here.

I was disappointed that I paid to sign up for Angie's list and found a better deal for free in the newspaper. I have nothing against Dream Lawns I just think he is overpriced.

Sprinklers wouldn't shut off automatically. Found repair company on Angie's list search. Checked company's hours of operation. Called next day. They answered the phone. Work was authorized to begin in my absence. They scheduled a visit for later that day and performed work. Unable to complete work in my absence. Came back the next day in my presence to continue work and completed it.

We removed a bush that was no longer needed. In doing so we pulled out a bubbler, which had a very long stem, during the bush removal. Since the bubbler stem was gone the main line was spraying and we could not find the leak. We called Jeff's and they arrived quickly found and repaired the leak within 10 minutes.

They were on time and Tim and his crew worked diligently paying close attention to detail esp noted in removing existing rock and establishing irrigation channels as well as sculpting the mounds (they were shaped and tamped down). Job was done in one day. They also removed 3 rose bushes and replanted them. They cleaned up after themselves and removed any existing dirt and rubble by blower and hosing sidewalks. I've used their talents before and have been pleased. Jim Jamieson was most considerate in talking with me about plant selection and placement; drawing up a plan and getting back to me within one day to go over it. He and Tim came by a couple of days before start date to review the work. There were no missed communications.

The job proceeded as expected. A staff of 6 spent about 4 hours working until everything was completed. - UPDATE ON 03/04/2012 - Having now used a different lawn & landscaping company (Eclipse Landscaping Services, Inc - also on Angie's List) twice since my experience with this company in February 2011, I must say that I am convinced that "Jeff's Lawn & Landscaping" is simply too expensive in what they charge for their services. The identical job that is listed here in this Angie's List review was just completed by "Eclipse Landscaping Services" on 02/21/2012 for approximately $200.00 less overall. And this was done with a crew of only 4 people (instead of 6) working for only 3.5 and NOT 4.0 hours. The overall quality of the work performed also was much better in my "Eclipse Landscaping Services" experience - much more work accomplished pruning/trimming trees and bushes in my back yard. Jeff's didn't even bother doing anything with the two bottle brush trees in my backyard, although pruning them had been discussed (not necessary, didn't want to bother or whatever).

My backflow preventer valve on my irrigation system was cracked from all the freezing temperatures lately. I called and got a call back from Tim. He came out the very next day, showed up right on time. He fixed the valve quickly. He was very nice and professional. I will use them again.

They showed up right on time and got right to work. They came in and cleaned everything up getting taking all the grass and other yard debris with them. They left me with a new yard.

He was right on time and did a beautiful clean up. He did a fabulous job. He was right on the price as well. He charged exactly what he had told me.

They were excellent and I am still using them and they were very good. Jimmy is excellent.

During this clean up, I was out of state. I received a phone call from my roommate informing me that a tremendous amout of debris was being blown into the pool. I was later told by the pool cleaner that it was quite a bit of dirt to all of a sudden appear when the pool was spotless before the clean up began. Again, I was not on property during this cleanup. So, I cannot say where the massive amounts of debris sitting and swimming in the pool came from. I am just going by what I was told while I was away. When I returned from my trip, I found some debris and some dead plants that were still in the back yard. I contacted the owner for a walk through and he agreed. He took care of it during their next visit. The tree trimming went well. There was one tree that was not trimmed to my liking and they corrected it during their next visit. The trimming of hedges and other plants were also acceptable, not to mention the lawn mowing. My largest frustration was the repeat visits to fix something that I felt could have been resolved in one visit: ensuring the spray from the sprinklers doesn't hit anything but the grass. Don't get me wrong, I realize that not every company would continue to return to fix something like this, This is an admirable trait that Jeff's Lawn and Landscape has. They want to ensure they get it right. However, I feel that if they completed the sprinkler adjustments the first time, there wouldn't have been time taken away from me (the consumer) and the business (Jeff's Lawn and Landscape). The cleanup was initiated around 9/23/10 and because of the poor adjustments of the sprinklers, actual service did not stop until their last visit a couple of days ago. I can't remember if it was 11/1 or 11/2. Overall, I am providing a "C." I thought that the quality of work didn't turn out to be what I had expected after reading all of the rave reviews that have been entered on Angie's List. Quality and Professionalism have been marked as a "C" because I felt it took too long to resolve the sprinkler spray issue. If this issue didn't continue to repeat, I probably would have stayed with them and had them service the property on a monthly basis.

I read about Jeff's Landscaping on Angie's List, so I called and set up an appointment. They were right on time, gave a price and they did the work the following week. Would highly recommend Jeff's Landscaping

Tim from Jeff's landscape came out the same day that I called. After accepting Tim's estimate, repairs were completed in approximately 1 hour including cleanup.

They were prompt to give us an estimate and came to do the work within a few days.

Overall performance, was excellent. I will continue to use them for my back and front yard needs.

Showed up early for the estimate. Went through all aspects of the work they would do. I came home from a 6 week trip and the lawn looked great.

Early one morning as I was rushing out to catch a flight I noticed a fountain of water bubbling from the ground. I called my wife once I landed, she called Jeff's later in the day and they were out within an hour Not only did they do the excavation and repair the leak -- but also took the time to recommend a treatment for my sick Rosemary. These guys are consummate professionals -- they love what they do, take pride in it, and are a joy to work with.

It seems about every 6 months, I call Tim at Jeff's Landscaping to help either expand my drip system or to do similar work for me. Tim not only answers his phone on weekends and holidays, but he is always on time. If for some reason he cannot meet me at the promised time, he will call and let me know when to expect him. For some reason, after Tim works on my yard, I have several questions that require him to return to my home. He never complains and never charges me an additional fee just to help me understand the system. Tim is an extremely valuable resource and I will continue to use him.

The tech that performed the repair was punctual, knowledgeable, and honest. I would use this company again.

From the very first call, Tim, the supervisor was completely helpful, punctual, and professional. When he said he would be here, he was. He kept in constant contact by phone. All work was done in a timely manner. When we wanted changes as the project evolved, Tim was most agreeable. Tim was always present with the workers to make sure all was done according to plan and to make sure clean up was accomplished. He accompanied us to the nursery to select foliage and make recommendations. His design sense and ability were fantastic. We trusted him with design decisions. This company would be great for those who aren't sure what they want. Tim has a great eye! We were amazed with the quality of the work and the thorough way in which the clean up was done. They were absolutely the best part of our outdoor remodeling project. We will definitely be hiring them again.

Best, Jimmy is there with them most of the time, not off on another job, though his guys know their stuff and could be left alone.
