J2 Carpet & Tile Cleaning

WOW!!!! I was about to spend $5000 to replace my 7 year old carpet because it seemed as if I couldn't get the high traffic areas clean. Over the past two years, I have tried two cleaning companies and bought a carpet cleaner and tried myself. After reading reviews for J2 on Yelp and Angie's list, I decided to try one more time. That was the best decision I have ever made. Paco showed up on time, explained what he needed to do and gave me an estimate. He was professional and worked at a fast pace. When he left, the carpet was well on its way to being fry. About 4-5 hours later, it was totally dry. The previous cleaning by another company took over 24 hours. I am VERY pleased with the results and will definitely use this company again. They were reasonably priced also. Even if they weren't, I would hire again.

It went well. They picked up the rug and returned it 10 days later. It took that long because it was a large wool rug that needed a lot of cleaning and drying.

I contacted J2 on a Tuesday, hoping for someone that would do a thorough job cleaning my carpet, tile, shower and chairs. I was given a very fair and extremely accurate estimate and a nice discount for getting my entire house cleaned. I scheduled them to come out Wednesday afternoon for the tile and Friday for the rest of the job. On Wednesday Charles and Mike showed up and kicked butt. They did an amazing job cleaning, were professional and pleasant. They explained the process to me and kept me in the loop throughout the process, pointing out spots that the grout was missing and ones that needed extra attention. Friday, Charles came back with a new partner, Jacob. The experience was the exact same as Wednesday. Keep in mind that this is not the $150 4-room Craigslist special. You get what you pay for. I felt that the price was fair, and in line with other well-reviewed companies. For around 2300 SF of tile, carpet, two different sets of stairs, a third floor, a shower and 9 chairs the total came to just over $1000... Money well spent. In addition, Jeff, the owner, was a fantastic point of contact. I spoke to him several times regarding the estimate, his worker's arrivals, the payment and my overall satisfaction with the job. I fully recommend J2.

Service men arrived on time and worked efficiently as a team. The results were excellent erasing grime that we could not remove with our hard floor and steaming devices.

On the phone they were clear about how heavy pet stains can soak into the carpet padding and how steam cleaning wouldn't correct that. This was re-iterated when their rep came to steam clean my carpets. My carpet is 17 years old, but they did a fantastic job making it look good again. It had been so bad, I was already pricing new carpet, but 90-95% of the stains are gone along with the odors. Although I've had carpet cleaning done before now with other companies, including doing it myself, J2 Cleaning did a job superior to any previous attempt.

The service went great! Charles and Mike are a great duo, setting everything up quickly and professionally. Their care and concern for my house was apparent as they setup corner guard so that they hoses didn't rub against the bannister. They also only brought as much hose into the house as they needed, and tied the hose to the bannister at the point where the hose should rest and not retract back into the van. Speaking of the van, the van contained its own clean water supply, dirty water receptacle, electrical power and suction. They didn't use any water or electricity from my house which would've been fine but the fact that their whole process is self-contained speaks to the professionalism of their outfit. Also, many times, the carpet cleaning apparatus of these truck is ridiculously loud, but in this case, it was one of the quieter machines that has ever parked in my driveway. Back to the actual carpet cleaning, after setup, Mike and Charles went right to work. The 4 step process started with a pre-treatment for spots, high traffic areas and then a general spraying of the entire carpet. Then the "pile lifter" went to work scrubbing the carpet and lifting the fibers, lifting the dirt, manicuring the carpet and really starting the cleaning process off right by opening up the carpets fibers for the steps to come. The "pile lifter" was the single item that convinced me to purchase the carpet cleaning service from J2 because: 1. Some carpet cleaners don't even use a scrubber, just chemicals, hot water and suction (and I've had inconsistent results with that method). 2. If they do use a scrubber it is a rotary type buffer that you see being used in public buildings to wax hallway floors (once again inconsistent results because it does scrub the carpet but tends to lay the carpet fibers down NOT opening them up for the hot water and suction deep clean part of the process). The "pile lifter" did its just spectacularly, revitalizing the carpet, breaking up any crusty parts of the carpet (little kids lived in this house before me) and opening up the carpet for the hot water and suction part of the process, which came next. Hot water was used in the proper amounts to capture all the remaining dirt and debris and to act as a medium for extracting said dirt from the carpet. Then the powerful suction was applied to the carpet evenly and quickly so that the water didn't settle and soak through too much. These guys were a well-oiled machine quickly following behind the other. The last step and one of the most important was the rake. While Charles was putting all of the equipment away in the truck and getting my paperwork ready, Mike was upstairs wearing slip-on booties on the freshly cleaned carpet and using a plastic-tined rake to do one final groom of the carpet. This step is key because it helps to make the carpet stand tall and dry as quickly as possible, makes the carpet as plush as possible once it dries and actually gets rid of that criss-cross pattern that you see after most carpet cleaning jobs, which to me symbolizes that the carpet will have a consistent feel and look after it dries. So maybe my experience was just normal for J2 cleaners and maybe I'm just a neat freak that pays way too much attention to detail but for $183 for 800 sq. ft. and for the quality design and execution of the carpet cleaning process, and the dramatic and stellar results, I don't think there is a better company out there in the LV valley. And I researched and talked to many of the highest rated companies on Angie's List before making the decision to go with J2 so I genuinely believe that and can see for myself that the service I received is second to none. J2 will be hired back for 2 more bedrooms, and the downstairs living areas. And considering how good they are with carpet, I'll probably hire them to scrub and seal my tile floors as well.

Paco was on time, introduced himself, and was polite. He brought in his steam cleaning machine from his truck with his other supplies. He also put plastic protectors at the corners of all walls. He used our outside water spigot with his machine. He worked eagerly, did not take any breaks, and worked alone. His machine also cleaned all my grout. My house is all ceramic tile, and my floor tile now looks brand new. He cleaned 1950 sq. ft. in about 3 1/2 hours. Great job!

The carpet looks great. They did a great job lifting the stains. The b rating is because I just repainted and their equipment marred the finish around some walls and baseboards. In addition their office didn't provide the technician my unit number or correct phone number which led to some confusion in the morning and a delayed start.

This is the fourth time using J2 Cleaning. Obviously we've been very happy with quality of work. This last tiime was no exception. The result was exceptional. It took about 7 hrs with just one technician this time, but he was very good and very detailed. Would have him or any of J2 Cleaning's workers back anytime in the future. Reccommend with no hesitation. One can find cheaper, but unlikly better.

J2 did a fantastic job on cleaning my tile and grout. The grout was so dirty I thought it couldn't be restored to its original light color. J2 was able to get my tile and grout looking brand new. Amazing work!

EXCJ2 Cleaning came highly recommended from Angie's List and just calling around to find cleaners, their name was constantly mentioned to me. I am extremely happy that I chose them. Charles & Brianna are an excellent team and work extremely hard. They worked efficiently and meticulously. Every inch and area of our home was tackled and now my home smells like oranges -- they used only non-toxic and green cleaning products, with no strong after-smell residue. Very safe for your pets as well -- no harm at all! Very, very thorough workmanship! They take pride in their work and it shows big time. There was a real lightness to my home when they finished. They vacuumed every corner and they also specialize in tile, upholstery and grout cleaning. Super professional team: no nonsense and get it done attitude. They made it look easy. My home is now cleaner and fresher than when we moved in. It's like a brand new home. The pricing is very fair, and there were no gimmicks or tricks. I couldn't believe the difference when they finished! They worked and finished on time (as promised) and I plan on only using J2 Cleaning in the future. I couldn't imagine using any other company, because I I trust J2. They are also a local company, and it feels great to support a community treasure. DOur grout looks like NEW! We have lighter grout, and in high traffic areas (like our kitchen) it was almost black. They came in, and scrubbed it, and even got out paint that had been in the grout for years. They had me walk through before they sealed it, to make sure everything looked good, and I was so impressed. I have never seen our floors look so good. I already recommended them to our next door neighbor, and will be using them every time we need our grout cleaned. Fast, punctual and quality service.

I called and received a quote for the work I wanted and scheduled the job with no hiccups. They arrived on time and called when they were on their way. Two men arrived and were pleasant and worked hard. The job was done in a little more than an hour. The cost was tremendously reasonable given all that they did. I used an angle's list coupon to get 10% off the job. I am super pleased and will use them again. Next will be tile:)

Purchased a Angie Deal to have all tied areas clean and sealed. Jim? was on time and explained everything about the process. He got to work and about 3 hours later called to say he was 30 minutes from being completed. He showed us all the areas and was really impressed. I had some bad spots around which was came out to be 100% better than expected. I will definitely recommend J2 cleaning and will continue to use them in the future.

The appointment was set for 9:00 a.m. They arrived at about 9:30 because a job ran long---which was OK. From the moment they came in, the whole operation was like a well-oiled machine. They got all the equipment set up, put on their booties to save the floors and carpets and got right to work. Marvin, especially, was very diligent and particular. He worked very hard to be sure we were happy with every area, especially on the grout cleaning. Michael had to leave early because of an appointment, but Marvin stayed until he was absolutely sure everything was to our liking. He even re-did several stubborn areas on the grout several times until both he and my husband and I were satisfied. I have all kinds of cleaning crews in our home over the years, cleaning various areas, but I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE WORK AS HARD AS MARVIN DID! He was on his hands and knees with solution and scrubbing brush on some of the stubborn areas. We have a large home---lots of tile---so it was a long process---took hours--and doing both carpet and tile/grout in one day is a lot---but these 2 made us as comfortable as possible and worked really hard to not just get it done---BUT TO GET IT DONE RIGHT! J2 has done our carpet before, so we are repeat customers---and we will definitely use them again. Our carpet looks great and our grout looks like it did when we moved in 8 years ago---GREAT JOB!. When we call J2 again, I will ask for Marvin---the hardest worker I have ever seen.

I thougt I would have to replace the tile (marble) but had it professionally cleaned and it looks like new. Great job with carpet in the family room. Would definetly use again.
