Indoor Air Solutions

The dryer vent had been cleaned by a big name company about three years ago. They only cleaned at the back of the dryer and did not do the roof stack. The roof stack was completely blocked, causing the dryer to give an error message. The dryer now works much better.

Everything went smooth as silk from scheduling online to the day on which the work was completed. All grills/vents were thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated with a special solution and the air ducts themselves were cleaned via negative air flow using a machine that Jeremy - the owner- specifically uses for this purpose by hooking it up to the duct system and then letting it run for some time. Not only was my overall air duct system cleaned, but Jeremy and his employee also used pressurized air to remove the dust that had been collecting in certain inaccessible areas (pot ledges, etc.) of my approximately 1532 square foot home. A stand-alone Austin whole-room air filter that I have also was taken outside and thoroughly cleaned using pressurized air. After the approximately 2 hours that this thorough cleaning of my HVAC system took, the entire house also was vacuumed to ensure that all remaining dust and debris were eliminated. Overall, this was a very thorough and satisfactory Angie'st List B ig Deal experience.

It did not go well. I scheduled my appointment on April 16th for May 7th @ 9:30 am. No call no show. I finally got a voice mail at 7 pm from Jeremy who told me his whole crew had been in Pahrump and they were unable to make my appointment. He called me back and told me he would make it up to me. He told me he would personally come to my house and do my second air conditioner for free. Apparently the voucher that I bought for Entire HVAC & Air Duct Cleaning, Sanitizing & Deodorizing + Dryer Vent Cleaning does not mean the entire system. On the day of the new appointment, Jeremy did not show up like he said he would. He sent two guys that did my entire system in less than one hour. I have two ac units and over 20 vents. This company did a half a** job cleaning my ducts. they didn't even enter some rooms nor did they remove some of the duct vents. For my dryer vent, they turned on my dryer and the guy said if lint doesn't come out it doesn't need to be cleaned. So he did not clean it. After they left, I couldn't tell any difference nor could I smell any sign of anything having been deodorized. I will never use this company again and I would not recommend this company.

Two guys showed up. TJ and his helper. They were great. They covered all the areas worked on w tarps. Got right to work and were very pleasant and professional. Wiped and vacuumed everything when they were finished. I would recommend them to friends and family. My house smells nice and fresh and is free of dust.

It was ok. They said they would come back to redo it but they didn't come back. The price was average.

Everything went great. They responded to my purchase right away. We corresponded by email until to the call to set a time. Everything happened in a week. The showed up on time and were very professional. Did not try to up sell anything. Left card and I was told to call if everything was not okay. I would use again and will refer to friends and family.

It was the first time I had it done and I don't know whether it was good, bad or indifferent, I know he stuck a snake up all the way up and went off the roof and down the side of the house and he pulled the snake back. They came out within two or three days of the purchase. They are really nice people and took good care of my house and stuff and from that standpoint it was good. I juts don't know if I would use them again.

Very professional work. Punctual and good work. They came on time, explained the process, got the work done, and cleaned up after words. Very good job.

It went very well. He arrived promptly, introduced himself to me, my parents and my dog MiMi (my dog as a radar for those who abuse animals and will bark/growl at them until they leave her area. I think she would have gone home with him ;-). I have a two story home and he had quite a few vents to clean but did it cheerfully. He worked around my parents since they stayed (read puttered) in the house while I walked my dog. He vacuumed up any debris that fell as well as cleaned our ceiling fan blades. All in all, I was very pleased with his service.

He ended up needing extra parts, had to bring another person in because it hadn't been cleaned in over 20 years, they worked for hours and did a fantastic job!

The service turned out very good. They did not charge me anything additional, they were pretty good. I had some issues, one of them is a rental house, and the person wasn't there, so it was back and forth for a while, but the owner of the company was very helpful. He gave me a free service, because it took such a long time, but it wasn't really his fault. They were very helpful, and I asked my tenants as well, who said they were very helpful.

It was great! They were professional and personable and they didn't try to up-sell me.

He was knowledgable and by the build up he cleaned, suggested a reasonable time to call back to have it done in 3-4 years. No pressure, as quoted, no add ons.

I had used Indoor Air Solutions previously for a dryer vent cleaning and inspection at a previous residence and had a great experience with them, so when I saw another Big Deal come up from them as I was moving into a new residence, I jumped on the deal! The house I moved into was constructed in the seventies and, judging from what they were able to pull out of the vents, had possibly never had the vents cleaned before. As with my last experience with them, they communicated well, were on time, polite, professional and took pains to clean up after themselves. Their work areas were draped to prevent the dirt from spreading and they even took the time to adjust the vents for maximum airflow for me. I would not hesitate to recommend Indoor Air Solutions to friends, family and fellow Angie's Listers.

Arrived on schedule and got right at the task. Very careful to cover anything that sat under a duct vent with a static sheet or cover to prevent debris or dirt getting on anything. Explained thoroughly the process and repeatedly asked me if I had any questions or concerns. Having none, he proceeded to clean each duct vent and cover with any accumulation going into a very large HEPA filtration system. When finished, replaced the clean vent covers and throughly policed the areas near and around the vents with a vacuum cleaner. Left the premises in clean order.

I used the deal for the dryer vent cleaning. My dryer had kept blowing out a fuse and after the third time repairing it, the repair man said it might be overheating from the dryer vent being clogged. He said I should have that cleaned once every couple of years and I have never had it done in ten years of owning the house. So when Indoor Air Solutions came out, they saw that the outside vent had been blocked and there was a large amount of lint clogging up the pipe. They fixed the venting out issue and cleared the lint. It took about 20 minutes total. Since then I have had no overheating problems. They were fast, clean and knowledgeable.

Service was delayed by 30 minutes but the tech notified me the night before of the change. Jeremy and EJ really hustled and did a number of things while acting in a polite and professional manner. Jeremy explained why he wanted to install a electrostatic air filter. He also discovered a loose piece of installation that was blocking my intake area. The service is done with a small air compressor, ladders, cleaning solution and elbow grease, so don't expect some big vacuum contraption. The ducts are cleaned by pushing the debris to the bottom of the furnace, then it is scooped out. The removal of near-ceiling dust is really just the dislodging of the dust, so expect to need to dust, vacuum and sweep after the service. But hey, at least all the high surfaces are cleared off leaving the usual areas to dusting. I can't say if this service helps, it's only been one day and I haven't removed the dust that they dislodged. But if air duct cleaning works in the long run; this company is a good one to hire. Mostly, I trusted these guys to roam every room of my home, and they busted a sweat cleaning areas that I didn't want to climb to reach. I did discover two handfuls of dog hair belonging to a pet that had died long ago; that tells me some deep cleaning took place!

It was great. I got his card and he told me if I noticed dust or dirt he would be back and fix the problem for free. I have had no problems and am very happy with the job that was done.

I was totaling satisfied with the job and the service. I requested some of his business cards so I could give them to neighbors. He indicated he'd give them the same 1/2 off deal - orig. $150 for $75 if they mention my name.

Jeremy is great - he always does his best to do whatever the customer needs.

It went very well. I would recommend this company to anyone who suffer from Allergens. They are very thorough in cleaning all the vents and making sure that your home is clean.

Through no fault of the provider, I was unable to use his services. I probably will do so in the future.
