Best way to describe myself would be Jack Of All Trades. I can do just about anything. You can always be assured the job will be done right the first time. So you can sleep at night
We used Hunny 2 Do List two years ago for a kitchen backsplash installation, and we were very happy with the end result. They were prompt and professional and the cost was reasonable. Hence, we called them back to quote on a bathroom renovation. The owner met with me for a consultation and provided me with a verbal quote of $3200.00 for the work and estimated that it would take one full week. I was to supply the tile, grout and new shower-head parts in addition to the 3200.00. He asked if he could start the next day and asked for a deposit of $1000.00 to get started. (I requested a written quote which was provided two days later). The next day, he, and to my surprise his girlfriend, arrived around 10 am. I was expecting a crew of two tradesmen as per the kitchen project. They emptied out their truck of a multitude of tool boxes, tools, and a mish-mash of equipment all over our garage and asked to park their utility trailer in our driveway for the duration of the work. He wanted to take up the whole garage, but I insisted that a space be left for me to bring in my car daily. They caused damage to our garage cabinets and left the garage in a mess. It took half a day to clean out the dust and dirt in the garage after the project was completed. The project itself took longer than anticipated and the sporadic work schedule that they kept was very frustrating and disruptive: The daily demand for more cash advances was unsettling to me. They spent the first day removing the old bath tub and tiling and said they would return the next day at 8 am. They arrived at 12:30 and worked until 4:30 and did not arrive at 8 am as promised. The next day they arrived at 10 am and left at 1:00 for lunch and returned at 4:30. They asked for another $700 cash deposit and left for another hour and worked until 7:00 pm. The next day, they didn't show up until 11:00 am and finished up at 6:00 pm. This work schedule and request for large cash advances continued for 9 days. The project was completed to 95% which left us with completing painting, cleaning and siliconing. In spite of my requests to cover surfaces and floors, they managed to drop a tool and dented the new shower pan. In the end we are happy with our new walk-in shower but could have done without the frustration, anxiety and extra work on our part. The level of professionalism this time is certainly not the same as our first experience.
Description of Work: Removed old bath tub and installed new walk-in shower. New shower pan, tiling, glass partition and new toilet installed.
