Horizon Pool & Spa Service

WE used Horizon Pool Service for years. Here is an update on services provided: Another pool service came out and problems were fixed easily and quickly. No miracles needed Oscar- just professional and competent service. I could outline the list of lies and issues in the communication with Oscar but I will just highlight a few. He treated my parents and my Aunt, the Homeowner -Terribly. Refused to meet at the house to see the issues. Did not return calls. Ignored issues, in my opinion, because he knew we were getting ready to sell the house. During the 5 months that we were working on the house doing upgrades, etc... he and his technician ignored problems and did not service house regularly. Despite being a customer for years... then blames my elderly parents for the issues and stated that the technician told them things when they were not even living in the house at that time! Complete- no confusion - LIES. I can not state enough - DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. I AM HAPPY TO CHAT WITH YOU OSCAR OR ANYONE WHO HAS QUESTIONS IN REGARDS TO THIS ACCOUNT AND OUR EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY AND ITS OWNER. DESPICABLE!

We have had Horizon Pool Service for many years and were always pleased. In the last 5 months the service has been terrible. We had a new person assigned and the service and communication has been extremely poor. The owner when called - refuses to call back or show up at the property to discuss concerns. The assigned technician has lied multiple times- trying to push off things she has neglected. She and the owner are trying to take advantage of the elderly couple that lives there. We have filed charges with the BBB. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY and if you currently use them CANCEL now. Oscar - your behavior is despicable.

Oscar was great. He was quick to respond and came out the same day we called. He gave us some good instructions on the chemical process and checked the pump, which was bad. Because it was a brand new spa, he advised that we contact the seller for a warranty repair rather than have him go too far into the equipment and possibly violate any warranty that would still be present. Good thinking - and that's what we did. We would definitely call him again if needed.

They were okay! I used them on a home working deal. They came out very quickly, and they were fine. The staff's demeanor was okay. I won't necessarily use them again in the future. I would try somebody else.

Very well, the crew was exceptionally helpful and protected our property and cleaned up everything when finished.

I've been very happy with them. He does excellent work, his prices are very reasonable and he's very responsive. For pool maintenance companies the more routine, replacing motors and chlorination, replacing electrical properties and things like that he can do a lot of things and his prices are very reasonable. The excellence in the work he did plus again his prices for that kind of work are extremely competitive.

They check all the equipment and let me know if anything needs replaced. I have a home warranty, so I check with them first, but if they do not cover a part, he will buy it and come to replace it.

I am new to the area. the previous owners used horizon and I know they were very happy with them. I continued service with them and have been very happy.

When that pump had a problem, he contacted manufacturer and they came out in a timely fashion. Determined that pump had a problem and solved it. Brian was on top of things for us. We are seasonal residents in Las Vegas and we know we can count on him when we are 1700 miles away with one phone call. Trusting him to help us and trust is a big must with us. You can trust the job gets done, you can trust its done right, you can trust he keeps the cost down, you can trust Brian.

Oscar arrived the same day of my phone call. Checked out the spa system and removed the motor. He said he would need to check the motor further, at his shop, before making a final decision. He called back within a few days to inform me that it was in fact, the motor, which was not functioning. Although the incorrect part was shipped, Oscar was still able to receive and replace the new motor within eight days. Oscar's quality of work was excellent, but I felt he could have been more responsive in keeping me informed of the problem and in providing the final bill.

Horizon is unbelievably reliable and inexpensive compared to other companies we've used. They have never failed to show up when expected. They are courteous and they do a fantastic job.
