Excellent!!! HoneyBee AC is the Goettl AC franchise for Las Vegas. Work was prompt, efficient, and professional. They also have an associated plumbing contractor, Sunny Plumber, within their firm. Handy, since my hot water heater was very close to going. Both the a/c unit and water heater were replaced and installed the same day. Both firms are top notch. The new units are SO much better than the old ones. Am guessing that my utility bills for hot water and a/c will be going down. Will keep you posted.

Responded to newspaper ad for a thorough AC maintenance check which included measurements of current drawn by motors and compressors. Called and was informed of a yearly maintenance agreement for my two systems which included a plumbing inspection and check, 10% on services and priority scheduling which I opted to purchase. The technician arrived promptly as scheduled, identified himself and began inspection. While thorough and clean, only six pictures were provided in the report, no data or recommendations were documented and measured results or costs were not included. Questioned the cost of a replacement capacitor, $265, which I later discovered can be found for under $15!! One for each system was recommended. Based on sample pricing for potential failures I would shop around some as I have no confidence in the pricing provided. I later discovered a $59 coupon from HoneyBee for the same service for a total of $118. The agreement also included a plumbing inspection which was much the same situation with slightly more realistic pricing provided for one recommended repair. Only pictures were provide in the report. Based on this experience I would not use this vendor again. Both technicians were professional, personable and very open and communicative.

I filled out an appointment request online and immediately got a call to schedule an online appointment. They quoted me more than the internet price but said they would honor the price advertised. I scheduled the appointment to have a tune up done at my rental property. I made arrangements with the tenant to meet the technician. The appointment was scheduled between 1-3pm. I got a call at 2:40 saying there was an emergency, someone was without AC and they would not be able to make my appointment. The representative was friendly but not very empathetic and only offered to reschedule. I said this was a big inconvenience and that I would be doing business with someone else.

I usually service my own evaporative (AKA - swamp) cooler but This particular model of swamp cooler (BonAire) has been more difficult for me to work on than the conventional big metal square units I've had in the past. I had to call a professional. I originally called a different company with whom I scheduled, but they sent out a technician from Honeybee A/C. The technician was very friendly, professional and thorough. He was able to diagnose the problem with the pump. Instead of having to replace the pump (which would have cost $$$) he was able to clean the pump and lube the bearings. He cleaned out the muddy sediment and scale that had built up in the bottom of the cooler. (By the way, mine was a window mounted unit). He did say that they didn't do a lot of evaporative cooler repairs. I had the owner's manual so he would be sure to know where to remove screws, which direction to lift the cover, and how to disconnect/reconnect necessary hoses. The end result was that my swamp cooler worked very well, and the charge was very minimal. I am so glad I found this company. I think they are wonderful. I'm thinking of having them come and do the seasonal servicing on my A/C unit.

I called a couple different heating companies to check why my heater wasn't working. Honeybee A/C was the last one I called. I'm glad I waited. The technician showed on time and explained what was wrong with my heater in terms I could understand and gave me options to take care of it. I decided to have them do the repair because that was what I could afford right now. All the companies gave the option to replace because of the systems age but Honeybee didn't try to "pressure" me. They actually seemed to be just as happy to do the repair that I could afford, which made me happy. Their prices were in line with the other companies and their warranty is great (2 years parts AND labor). Honeybee seemed to actually be working for me instead of some unseen boss or corporate entity which is great because I'm the person that hired them. All in all, I was extremely happy with the service. I would definitely use them again and I have already referred them to my family/friends.

I love the way the air purifier is working. I did a lot of research on them and it is working like Mike said it would. I am a nurse and there is no telling what types of bugs I might bring home. The air purifier gives us peace of mind. The fan in the furnace works now and we love our WIFI thermostat. We can control the temperature using our smart phones from anywhere. He put down tarps wherever he worked and wore covers over his shoes to protect our floors. They charged a fair price and gave us the best warranty out of any of the companies we had look at the system. He even checked the batteries in our smoke detector and changed a light bulb for me. I love this company.
