+ -1 moreI thought I was paying for 1 person, but 2 people showed up, so I paid for 2 people. He said he would send me the invoice, but they never did. I called several times and have still not heard back from them and have never gotten a receipt or an invoice.
Description of Work: I needed two lights to be replaced.

Description of Work: I spoke with electrician and he said he'd call back first thing in hte morning and schedule someone to come out that next morning and provide a bid. I explained I had had too many electricians promise to return my call or to come only not to follow through, and was he certain he would call back the first thing in hte morning. He assured me he would, but it was late the next day before he returned my call.

Description of Work: Power outage they mistakenly believed was in my house but turned out to be a blown NV Energy neutral wire at the street. Thus, they wasted some time and expense in my house before figuring this out. Forgivable though in the situation.

Description of Work: They did nothing, that's the problem. I called Helix because of their listing on here and thought they would be a good choice for a small electrical project we needed done. I called and made an appointment to have someone come out and take a look and give us a quote, THEY NEVER SHOWED when they said they would nor did they call to reschedule. I'm guessing they thought our job was too small for they're very busy company so they didn't even bother to show us courtesy or professionalism. Thing is you never know who you are dealing with, even with a small job, who they have connections with and what they might be doing in the future. One thing I do know for sure is, I'll never use or recommend Helix Electrical

Description of Work: I had a very, very old microwave. The service man said it was not fixable (which I had suspected), and he said he would not charge me since he didn't do any work. He could not remove it as it was so heavy, but he did tell me that it was installed wrong and would need two people to pull it out. However, he unplugged it so it was not a fire hazard. I purchased a small countertop microwave and will deal with removing the one over the range as soon as I can. I definitely will use them in the future.

+ -1 moreEstaban was fantastic. It was an emergency service, and he arrived sooner than he said he would. Excellent. He checked the entire house to determine where the root cause was. He did not rush the work. He was very methodical. We will definitely request Estaban if and when we require electrical work again.

Description of Work: Needed to have several electrical issues repaired in my new home I had recently purchased. Contacted a few companies on Angieslist & this company was EXCELLENT overall, not only with their competitive pricing but highly experienced electricians that were able to get everything taken care of for me within 24 hours of initially calling in. I will never use another company for electrical work again! Seems like a company that goes over & beyond to please their clients, regardless of how much work is involved. A++++

The tech called to tell me exactly when he would arrive and he arrived right on time, He was thorough, checking everything to be sure I was safe, problem-solved with me to find the best, quickest (and most inexpensive) way to fix the problem without risking safety, and he repaired the problem neatly and efficiently. I am very pleased and will use them again for a few (non-emergency) jobs very soon.
Description of Work: A drywaller nicked a wire and I needed it checked and repaired immediately for safety.

The had to set up scaffolding in my house to install the fans and chandler, they made sure everything was protected, and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend Helix, and working with Earl has been a pleasure.
Description of Work: Helix Electric has installed ceiling fans, chandlers, and exterior light fixture maintenance. We bought all the fixture and Hired Helix to install them. We have 25 foot ceiling in the two room the received ceiling fan and chandlers. They installed correctly and looked great. The estimate and pricing was very reasonable.
