Half Price Plumber

I was disappointed because after the plumber left I discovered that the toilet handle came lose and fell off on the inside AND the chain became disconnected to the plunger. I text the plumber to express my dissatisfaction, and he volunteered to come back the next day, but I could not afford more time of work so he he as a "master plumber per his card" could come back and clean up the basics. I had to fix a $420 job myself. In fairness, plumber was punctual, professional in manner, and neat, but my overall expereince can not allow myself to recommend him to other Angie list folks. In fact I am surprised he was an A lister, so perhaps he just had a bad day?

David is very professional and I would hire him again for sure. He's my plumber moving forward.

I purchased one of the local offers offered on Angie's List. Before the end of the day I was called to schedule an appointment. He was flexible with my availability. On the scheduled day of service he called before arriving. Repair was completed quickly. I found Dave professional, prompt, and pleasant.

He was outstanding. Knowledgeable, skilled, and conscientious.

I had to wait a week for an appointment, that morning they called and said they couldn't make it so I had to hire someone else who came the very same day for the same price.

He went over my options with me and was like, "We could repair this toilet or we could replace it. If you repair it, here is the pluses and minuses of that, if you replace it, the pluses and minuses of that, you just get a brand new toilet." I didn't feel pressured into replacing the toilet, but I chose to replace the toilet because I just thought it was the best thing to do.

I purchased the special one-time $80 offer to install a faucet. When he arrived and found it he was installing a Moen motion trigger faucet, he wanted to charge me an extra $40 because he said that it was a more complicated installation than a normal faucet. When I purchased this faucet, I looked on the internet to see how complicated this was to install and my babysitter who has no experience in installing faucet could probably install it other than working a drill to attach the motion unit to the wall under the sink. He did not give me a comfortable feeling that he was experienced if he was going to charge me extra for this work if the installation was easy. After he installed it which apparently took under an hour, he changed his mind and did not charge me the extra $40 and did a good job. Furthermore, before he got started, he suggested that there was nothing wrong with my current faucet and that he could just tighten it for me and it should still be good. I had to explain to him that my husband and I wanted a new faucet!! We didn't care if our existing one was working or not. That's why we bought a new one to replace the old one.

It was second time this provider has done work for me and it won't be the last. David was great, on time, work preformed fast and one of the nicest people you could hire😀

I purchased the $80 coupon for kitchen faucet replacement on the Half-Price Plumber’s Angie’s List page. David at HPP called me back and we made an appointment for him to come out that week. On the day of the service, David showed up on time and reviewed what needed to be done. He gave me an estimate, which I accepted, and he got right down to work. I had previously purchased all of the faucets and fixtures to be installed. David mentioned that another brand of shower and bath faucets would better match the in-wall pipe fittings, which would avoid tearing up the walls. David showed me that the in-wall fittings were in good shape, so my beautiful and brilliant wife (yes, she might read this) graciously offered to head back to Home Depot to exchange the faucets and pick up some needed attachments recommended by David. In the meantime, David fixed our leaking water purification system as well as the valve on our refrigerator water line, and installed our new kitchen sink faucet, drinking water faucet and sink ring. He then moved on to replace the sink faucets in our master bathroom. My wife returned with the new shower faucets and David got to work installing those. I checked on him a couple of times and everything he installed looked great. When David finished the kitchen and master bath, we agreed it would be best for him to come back the next day to install the second bathroom faucets and fixtures. He showed up the next morning, bright and early, and completed the job. Both my wife and I were extremely pleased with the services provided by David at Half-Price Plumber. He’s friendly, professional, does excellent work and charged us a fair price. We also liked that he cleaned up all the bits and pieces on both the first and second days. I would definitely use David again for plumbing services. In fact, I’m getting ready to call him to install a couple of new toilets. I would wholeheartedly recommend David at Half-Price Plumber to others who need professional plumbing services.

It took awhile to find the leak. Eventually he tracked it down outside the bathroom wall. Then he removed the dry wall to fix the leak. And finally, he cleaned up everything and took out the trash. Both my husband and I are very enthusiastic about the Half Priced Plumber. He worked for four hours, on a Saturday, including trips back and forth to Home Depot, and still only charged $260. And cleaned up every bit of debris when he was done.

Great, He arrived on time, He did not waste time, and kept the area clean, even cleaned up some extraneous hoses that didn't seem to go anywhere. Two weeks later my parents called him to replace a toilet. They were impressed with how he worked, and the difference between his price and the price quoted to them by a different company in the area. My mom keeps telling me we have to keep his number.

David showed up at my house 15 minutes early and proceeded to install all three units in a professional manner. All went well and I am very happy with the work performed.

When David arrived I asked about also disconnecting my RO system and he gave me a quote for the extra work. He was able to also complete that the same day. The kitchen faucet I picked out didn't have a good mounting system and David met me at Home Depot to help me pick out a better faucet. Great guy and great plumber. Will definitely hire again.

Needed a re-circulation pump installed which I ordered online after being price gouged on another job by a "big" LV plumber. He showed up on time and did the job...no muss or fuss. In and out in 20 minutes. Price was as quoted...and the new piece is working great. Piece of advice if you want to save a ton of money...find out the part you need, order online yourself and hire David to do the work. My total cost including Half Price Plumber was $335 versus $994 quoted by the "big" firm. I am sure if you don't know what part to order you will still be way ahead hiring David either way. Another plus is he is a nice guy not out to rip you off.

He did a clean quick job and everything looks and works beautifully. I will definitely call Dave the next time I need any plumbing done. The cost below reflects the cost of the two toilets as well as his fee.

Fantastic. Dave quickly scheduled the install, arrived 20 minutes prior to his time window, completed the install in about 20 minutes, cleaned up work area, was courteous, friendly and professional. Had an appointment with David at 11:00. David showed up at 11:00. Told me that I could call the company that my faucet was from and that they would send me the parts to fix it for free, very cool. I chose not to wait and had him put a new one in. Very professional. Definitely would use again. I feel he gave me a fair deal. Did a great job. Thanks David.
