Outstanding work. Kevin was conscientious and thorough. No more pigeons on my house. Everything that was done was done exactly the way he said it would be done, and the price for everything was worth every penny. My cul-de-sac has a severe pigeon problem, so I gave Goldstar business cards to them. I hope they take advantage of their services. I am extremely happy I found this business, they are honest and real.

I purchased the coupon at the beginning of April. The tech called and we scheduled a time for the service. When they came out, we agreed that it would require more than the service initially purchase. That is fine. The appointment was scheduled for 10am the next morning. After they arrived 20 minutes late, I figured no worries, they must be busy. They performed the service we agreed on the day before and the tech told me the problem should be solved. It wasn't. I have called them a couple times asking them to come back out to resolve a few issues. I am willing to pay for the time/service. But I haven't received a call back even to just say they are busy and it may take a few weeks. Poor customer service. *After no response, he returned to solve the issue. All is good now.

Eric and his team were on time and extremely meticulous. Will definitely use this company again and highly recommend their services.

I bought a $99 big deal for this service and it was excellent; five stars for everything.

Eric/Goldstar Services was great even came back a few days later after pigeons tried to return and knocked one of the spikes off. We've been pigeon free ever since and I don't think they'll return.

Clean pigeon feces - 15 years worth off the roof - attach three separate screens so pigeons could not roost. Because I never did this I had pigeon feces build up on back side roof which resulted in pushing tiles up and with rain storm cause considerable damage to inside house. Advice_ Never let pigeons roost on your roof.

Eric showed up on time and ready to work. He was able to remove a very large and old nest from a second story eave that had no access except via ladder. He did full removal and pressure washing of that area. He then fenced off the eave area with a heavy gauge wire, making it impossible for the pigeons to nest there again. He also placed spikes on a thin ledge area around our balcony that has been problematic. He pressure washed the balcony as well. Eric did the job quickly and efficiently. The cost was more than the Angie's List deal (which was $99) because we requested additional services. Eric discussed the price with us first and we were happy to pay the extra for the extra work. We felt it was a very reasonable price to pay to stop these pigeons from making a total wreck of our side yard. I would gladly recommend Goldstar Services to anyone.

Eric was very professional and interesting to talk to. Since the area we needed taken care of was on our Alumawood patio cover, he was not able to do all that was advertised. He was able to fence off the area & the pigeons have been back several times during the day and seem quite perplexed as to why their little area is not accessible as before.

They did do a good job of putting up barriers under my two eves to keep the pigeons out. I purchased a Big Deal for $99 and ended up having the tech put up a barrier under a second eve for an additional $65, well worth the money. They were on time and professional. It was an overall good experience, but the barriers are not as straight as all my neighbors pigeon barriers, but how can I complain for the price (not like I was going to get up on my tile roof and do it... I only have two complaints: 1) The tech didn't clean under the second, higher up eve, but that was the added eve for $65. 2) The tech left barrier materials all over my front porch and driveway, wouldn't be a big deal, but I have two children under 4 years old and there are lots of sharp edges. I would hire again. The tech was super nice and it was really cold, in fact I was surprised they didn't try and reschedule since it snowed the morning of the job. I am glad they came and I would definitely hire them again.

I had three different appointments booked with this provider which he canceled. Finally got together on the fourth appointment. He used Dawn dish washing detergent on the driveway to remove an oil stain, which was only marginally effective. While I didn't expect perfection, I did expect a bit more than this for $125. Provider informed me that his primary business was eradicating pigeons, but he washed a few driveways as well because it is free to be cross-listed on Angie's List. Nice guy, very personable, but I have had better service.

Scheduling was fine and so far, I haven’t heard a pigeon since the work was done. I used the deal and added a little bit to it. We had pigeons for a long time. They put some screens up that are unobtrusive as well as spikes that makes the pigeons go look somewhere else to roost.

They did do a really good job for me. They were on time and professional. It was an overall good experience, but I ended up paying extra money for the service that I received due to extra spikes/netting being needed.

Guy came out. Didn't have the right ladder to do the work. That was actually for the best, because as he explained, the $179 covered service on maybe 5% of the roof, which would have accomplished basically nothing.

Very prompt, courteous, professional service. Pigeons did keep trying to come back to roost for quite some time. Eric sent his terrific assistants out a couple more times in the next few weeks to make some tweaks and add more spikes in other areas. After about two months, the darned pigeons finally gave up and went elsewhere to roost. Although it was a bit of a sticker shock, I would highly recommend this company.

Set up spikes and removed nest.

First I made the online scheduling form and it had asked me to choose multiple days that would work, so there was no definite scheduled day for them to come, so I expected a call or email giving me the time that they could do according to my choices. No call. So I had to call him. He was really nice, said that he could send over a guy right away. They did. I was first impressed with that. I had asked him if they could take down the eagle that was up on the house that we were moving in to that was supposed to deter the pigeons as it wasn't working and it was an eye sore. When we got to the house, the job was done, but they left mesh pieces over the lawn at closer inspection, and the eagle was still there. I called again to see if they could take it down as per my original request, and he said no problem, they would go over and do it and then leave the invoice for me. Well, it's been almost 2 weeks, I haven't received a call, or invoice and the eagle is still there. I shouldn't have to chase them down to do the work they were supposed to do in the first place. After this review was posted we had received a quick reply letting us know that the eagle aka plastic falcon, would be removed promptly. And it was. It is nice to know they care and will help rectify the oversight. Thank you.

I was contacted by Erick from Goldstar to schedule the appointment. Because this was an Angie's Deal and only offered to cover one area, I discussed with him the need for a second hole to clean and spike. He quoted me a very fair price $125 and I agreed. I work the typical 8 tp 5 Monday through Friday so I needed an early time. He was very accommodating and offered to send his worker as early as needed. I asked for an arrival time of 7 to 8 am. On the scheduled day, the rep was there at 7:30. All of the work was as expected. Franky diligently went to work on pressure cleaning all of the areas in the roof that were impacted. He proceeded to close off the open areas and pressure washed all of the areas in the front of the house that had pigeon crap. After he finished (about 2 hours) he walked me through the work. I was very pleased then and more pleased every day that I get home and my driveway is clean of any pigeon crap. The spikes are not visible to the naked eye. Again, excellent work, especially for the price!!

I had a dead pigeon on my roof for several days. It's mate stayed around, as if waiting for it to wake up. The droppings were appalling, and every-time it rained, I had to sweep the drive way of the droppings that were washed down. Gross!!! Being fed up with droppings, frequent bird visits and now the dead pigeon, I paid for the $99 coupon. I chose Gold Star because the reviews were positive about Eric. After a couple of days of waiting to hear from them, I sent an email of inquiry. Eric responded and we discussed a good time for the work to be performed. He was professional and thoughtful. I was very generous for his time as well, considering the temperature and time of day. On this day, Eric emailed me and informed me that Frank would be completing the service. Frank called me and was at my house in minutes. I did not have to be there. I informed Frank about the dead bird and warned him about a possible attack by the protective mate. When I got home from work, The roof was poop free, the dead pigeon and it's guarded mate were gone , the netting was in the place where I instructed Frank to place it and there were no signs on poop in the drive way. I am very pleased with the work. It was a light job, but done very well.

Not well...Had a different service before who were much better, I'm not sure what these people did as I was not home but they left a huge mess.

On June 5, I purchased the service that was advertised for $99 through Angie's List. Angie's List confirmed the purchase and advised I'd hear from the provider within 2 business days to schedule the service. I was never contacted. I advised Angie's List on June 10 and again on a later date that I had not been contacted, however I received no response from Angie's List either. On June 26, Angie's List cancelled my order and issued a credit for the $99. On the same day, I noted that this deal was re-advertised for $179.

The service went well but the issues were not resolved, however. The technician was very nice and worked very hard. He cleaned the entire roof but the pigeons would just not go away. I do think I got what I paid for and it was a good service for the price. I had no difficulties with scheduling.

The company showed up on time with a crew of two men. they removed one area of nesting and left others trying to up-charge me when i already paid for the services

He did a great job! He went up on the roof and identified all problem areas, took photos of them to show me and also pointed out the areas on the roof. All of the mess made by the pigeons was removed. He vacuumed the areas before he power cleaned them. He also put something in the area on the ground after he cleaned up the area to break up any remaining pigeon poop (I can't believe how clean he got the ground - it was a disaster!). I was very pleased with his service. He said he would come back if I continued to see the pigeons after about 10 days - it takes them some time to realize they no longer have a home on my roof.
