Description of Work: Telephone contact w/ Eric Stolz (the provider), he was professional and pleasant but could not provide the service I needed. Suggested I get a refund through Angie's list and get a licensed roofing contractor, which he is not. I have no negative review, other than it would have been good to have that information prior to my purchase of the deal.

Description of Work: We were extremely happy with the services performed and would use them again.

Description of Work: Eric did a wonderful job. He cleared our pigeon issue, cleaned the dropping from the roof area and repaired the chimmey area to prevent future problems.

Description of Work: Wednesday (13 Feb) 10:24AM: I called the number (Eric Stolz) on the coupon to schedule the service, I was sent to voicemail which stated their hours (normal business hours) and said I can expect a returned call that same day if I called during their hours. The call was not returned. Thursday (14 Feb) 9:10AM: I called the number and again was sent to voicemail. I very clearly left my number (twice). 9:40AM: Eric (from Goldstar Services) returned my call but I was unavailable to answer. 9:55AM: I called Eric back and we were able to schedule the service for Saturday (16 Feb) "mid" afternoon. Saturday (16 Feb) 1:52PM: Eric called & said he would be another 2 hours or-so. 3:50PM: Eric called again & said he would be at least another 30 minutes. He then asked me if the job I'm having him do is a "small" job, to which I assumed it would be considered a relatively small job since most of the pigeon problems at my house have been remedied. Once I described the problem to him he said "that sounds like it's going to be more than a $99 job." I told him I'm no expert so I'm open to your recommendation when you've looked at it. Then he started to describe further how it's not a $99 job and what he typically does to solve my problem. It was at this point that I decided to not use this company to work on my home this was for 3 simple reasons: 1. The initial failure to return my call. 2. Two same-day, short-notice appointment changes. 3. The fact that Eric was convinced, sight-unseen, that my coupon wasn't going to be enough for the job.

Description of Work: I asked Eric Stolz about coming out and look at our roof leak around the air conditioner. Due to Christmasand New Year Holidays we did not get this repaired until a little later. However, Eric is very professional and honest and did good work. Here in Las Vegas we can go for MONTHS without rain.... in fact..... it rained the day after Eric repaired the roof and it did NOT leak. Yes, we would use him again and refer him to our friends.

Description of Work: "Job to be completed: Put spikes in eves for pigeons, and power wash away bird droppings. I requested a mid - morning job starting at 11am. Well 11 came and went; now I get a phone call saying I'll be there closer to noon. Ten minutes after noon, I get a knock on the door and when I opened it I'm greeted by an individual drenched with sweat. I offered to talk to him on my porch. He begins our conversation with an upsell for an additional 20 bucks. After I repeated no for the second time, he told me that there will be no more cost for the upgrade. Why I asked, he replied, because I was late. Overall, he did do good work but needs to work on professional attire and punctuality. "

Description of Work: Eric has done a roof area pressure wash and re-secured pigeon mesh on my roof. He's also treated the perimeter/outside of my house for roaches, and a pretty bad black widow problem. No bugs in sight since then. Good guy. Good service. I''l hire him again!

Description of Work: Eric was extremely polite, professional, and punctual. He diagnosed the problem with the roof critters I had and gave me a plan to move forward with. His price was very reasonable. I will continue to use Goldstar in the future. Thanks Eric for excellent customer service.

Description of Work: We had some issues with communicating with emails. I was persistent because I wanted to have the pigeons on my house fly away to bird heaven. Anyway, I like Eric. I couldn't believe it when I saw him perched high above on a ledge of my roof. Eric is probably 6'3" and 250. I liked that he didn't push everything all at once. He put metal wire to keep the pigeons from nesting. Prior to that he pressure washed the roof. It was raining you know what. This morning the family of ten pigeons were eating away at the bird feed. I think it should do the trick. If not I will call Eric to help me out again. Thank you.
