About us

Dr. Maria A. Giacalone received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from NYCC in 1991, after passing rigorous national and state examinations to achieve licensing. Dr. Giacalone is licensed in her home state of New York, as well as, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, where she previously practiced her profession prior to relocating to Las Vegas in 1994. Although it is mandatory to continue classes after licensure, she has continued her education with 1 full year of REHABILITATION and one year of SPORTS INJURIES, as well as classes in a multitude of areas including nutrition.

I've been looking for a good chiropractor for several years and I have found it in Dr. Maria. The staff is friendly and Dr Maria takes her time to understand your problems.

Dr. Maria reviewed my history, asked questions, had me do a few moves and then provided treatments. She is the most thorough person we have seen. I will be going back to her.
Description of Work: I have neck, shoulder and lower back problems and have been looking for a good chiropractor since mine moved to another state.

I did as she said and she did to. I love her and er staff. I now take care of me! I go in for regular maintenance adjustments before I'm in agony and also treat myself to the massages too. No pain, no stress, you can't beat that!
Description of Work: I went in for constant pain, spasm & burning in my back. I was asked to come back for a few treatments in a row in order to get the most from my adjustments. Dr. Maria promised me I would not "have to live there" but give her a chance to work my pain out.

Dr. Maria is thorough and gentle. She has a friendly bedside manner and always listens. Whenever I've needed an unscheduled appointment due to pain she has always made sure I was able to get in. Once she even offered to come to the office on New Year's Day because she knew I was in pain! I have been using Dr. Maria for about 8 years and would recommend her to anyone in need of chiropractic services.

I love the small size of the practice and the personal attention received from Dr. Maria and the rest of the staff. Since the office is small, you don't feel lost in the shuffle of a big practice and receive quick, timely, efficient and effective care.
Description of Work: I first started going to Dr. Maria because I relocated back to Las Vegas and wanted a Chiropractor to help with neck and back tension. I've now been going to Dr. Maria for adjustments and to Julie for massages for the past couple of years.

Her office is quite nice it had several therapy tables and massage chairs. We were treated with warm concerning care. Over several weeks we experienced several therapies including EMS and ultrasound. There is even a massage therapist on staff. Dr. Maria uses a drop table which is kind of loud, but the adjustments are painless, she talks to you through out the treatment/adjustments and makes you feel very comfortable. I since have become a patient myself just to enjoy the benefits of being adjusted and an occasional massage too. A few things, the address is on S. Cimarron but the office faces the residential street and quot;Laradoand quot; so you have to look for the signage. If you have time ask the staff to email you the new patient paperwork it makes the entire visit so simple.
Description of Work: My daughter was in an accident and a friend recommended Dr. Maria Giacalone. We went to see her on a Saturday (which was nice) so it did not interfere with her school schedule. Oh' yea the accident was an attorney lien and Dr Maria accepted the lien without any problem.
