Excellent. I've been using their service for several years now. They are v. professional and their crew has knowledge of trees and how to trim them properly.

Eddie provided me a quote by driving by my home and then providing me the quote via email. They came and did the work but said that it did not include the skinning. He would have to come by/drive by again to provide a skinning quote. This should not be this difficult. To be fair the workers did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. Also, Susan in the office was friendly, understanding and said that she would pass along my issue to a manager. Had they done the work that i was expecting my review would be different. This was clearly a communications issue with Eddie.

Arrived on time in big truck, prepared for the task. Had a crew of three. We met, shook hands, and discussed what was to be done so that there would be no issues. They went about their work, and trimmed all of the trees accordingly. I watched them at work and they did not mind. I let them know that I was not checking on them, but was curious as to how they chose which branches to trim. They were happy to show me how a tree is properly trimmed. At the conclusion of the task, they cleaned up the fallen debris completely. Their truck had a chipper attached, so that they did not have to haul away loose branches and leaves...all of this was put through the chipper and made into dust. Also, the communication with the office was great. I had a date established and a start time. They also updated me via email. Yes, I will use the again. I was also made aware of the other services that the company offers, and if they are as efficient and careful as the tree service, I will definitely go to them for my other landscaping needs.

The price was within the realm of charges for that. We will definitely use them again.

This is my 4th year with them and my LAST!! They raised their prices and didn't even trim all the trees. When I called they said I hadn't paid for the other trees because it wasn't on the work order. Really?!! This wasn't my first Palm trim. Then Eddie tells me for an extra charge they will come back a month and a half later to do what they should have done in the first place. They charged me $5 more per Palm in the back yard than in the front yard. Couldn't explain that either and no refund was issued. Then they have the nerve to ask if I want to schedule for next year and pay per hour. Now I know the reason many of my neighbors have changed as well.

I called the office stating the services we needed. The lady had Eddy, the salesman for our area, contact us. He came out and reviewed the trees. We received the proposal by email, signed and sent it back. They scheduled the job for the following week. The crew arrived right on time and they finished the job in one day. They cleaned everything up when they had finished.

It is a good company. The price was very reasonable.

Team showed up on time (8:00AM) with Roe Valenti, the owner, there to direct the operation. The four men did the work necessary, asking questions and using my input as needed. The work included climbing into the larger trees to clear the highest dead limbs. It took them a couple of hours for all the work and they cleaned up completely afterwards. We have used First Choice Tree Service several times and highly recommend them.

They did an excellent job and provided a fair price for service.

Great job of artfully pruning our large mesquite tree. First Choice Tree Service uses trained professionals, not hacks with a chainsaw who just lop off limbs. They ensure the tree is properly pruned for great aesthetics as well as the health of the tree.

The First Choice crew spent several hours thinning our 10 trees which involved correcting several poor cuts made by another service. The trees are large and required a lot of work to lighten them. This involved removing large dead branches resulting from our winter last year. Roe Valenti was honest with the work that needed to be done and made sure her crew did what was needed. We are using First Choice again this July to clean up damage form this year's freezes.

They did a really nice job. On time, very nice. The price was very reasonable. The lady is a professional arborist, she is certified. Very knowledgeable. The crew came out and got the job done. I'll be using them again in the fall. They carried away the dead branches rather than chipping right there. Cleaned up very nice. The men looked professional and looked like they knew what they were doing.

First Choice was wonderful. They did a beautiful job...my trees looked like overgrown weeds and now they look beautiful. It took 3 guys from 8:00 am to 4:00pm to do the job. They were professional and courteous. They would come and ask me if I liked the way a tree was shaped. If I asked them to trim a bit more or do more shaping they did so with no complaint. They are a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for and I was glad I paid the extra...

WOW! I wish I had taken 'before' pictures. The 'after' picture is so impressive, I can hardly believe it! The palm trees in our front yard are really tall and we wanted to ensure that whatever company we hired had workman's comp insurance, as the tree's dead limbs were really high. You know your trees look horrible when unsolicited landscapers ring your bell to try to get you use their services, lol. While they were really cheap, we couldn't risk getting sued if they fell out of the tree. We knew that contracting for a fully licensed and insured company would be significantly more expensive, but the cost removed the potential liability to us, if someone got hurt. We got the name of First Choice Tree Service from the company that tends to the plants in our HOA commons areas. First Choice sent out an estimator, Roe, who was VERY professional and wasn't put off by our overly enthusiastic dogs. Thanks, Roe, I know they're a handful. I had sticker shock from the $225 estimate, after the fly-by-night estimates, but I had to do it, despite my misgivings. It seemed quite expensive...after I saw what the $225 bought me, IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY! The crew came in on Nov 4th...maybe 5 or six workers. The job was to limb the 2 trees in the front yard, two short one in the back and trim the sago palms so that they weren't hanging over any concrete around the pool. In 20 short minutes they'd cut, chopped their debris, chopped the debris from an old trimming session and they were done. Our trees look fantastic, now! Wonderful work, First Choice! You ARE our First Choice!

Never showed...I waited until 5 pm and tried to call the office, but they closed at 4 pm. I texted the guy who came out and gave me the quote, but he didn't know who I was. I called the office in the morning--they are supposed to open at 8 am...no answer till about 8:30 and Tony was unapologetic about the missed job and gave no answers or explanation. What a waste of time and what a real lack of professionalism! :(

We had a call the day before from the office reminding us of our appointment. The morning we had scheduled the crew arrived right on time. They got right to work and before we knew it the trees were gone and you would have never known there had been trees there. They left the yard cleaner than it was when they arrived. Great crew and easy to talk to. Talked to the office after they were done and they wanted to know if everything had gone as expected. This is the only tree service we will use in the future. First Choice was there earlier than scheduled and did an excellent job. The area was cleaner than when they got there. Employees were very courteous and professional. Stump grinding was also done quickly with plenty of protection for windows, etc.

In addition to the tree being very large and very overgrown there is limited accessibility to the tree. My fairly small back yard is crowded with planting beds, yard art, and many pots including 3 large ones planted with dwarf citrus right under the tree. First Choice did an excellent job of protecting everything. Their arborist who had set up the appointment met the crew here the morning of the job to talk with the crew about the condition of the tree and the work to be done. I had used First Choice a couple of years ago and was very happy with their work however I let myself be swayed by a lower price from another company the next year and regretted my choice. Its one I won't make again. The folks at First Choice know how to treat a tree and take pride in their work. My tree is now in great shape and First Choice is the only tree service left in my contact list.

Luis from First Choice Tree Services arrived on time, was cordial, and explained what he planned to do. He performed the borer treatment per the contract that I had agreed to earlier. This is the second year that First Choice has treated my plum tree and I am totally satisfied with their work. I am confident that First Choice saved my plum tree and that I will be able to enjoy it for many more years.

We have 3 Texas Umbrella trees that are approximately 36 years old and we are very selective when it comes to having them trimmed. Over the past 34 years we have hired many different tree trimming companies and haven't been 100% happy with the job they have done but we realize that these types of trees can be a challenge to work with. We hired First Choice Tree Service to trim our trees this year and we can honestly say that this is the best trimming and shaping these trees have ever had. The crew thinned the crowns to cut down on wind damage/breakage, cut off all the suckers and gave the trees a beautiful and quot;Umbrellaand quot; shape that they are supposed to have. They did an excellent job of cleaning up which wasn't an easy task since these trees are loaded with berries this time of year and are a real pain to rake up. I highly recommend First Choice Tree Service and will use them again next year.

The estimate has been signed and returned. Work date has not been confirmed, but should be within a week.

Estimate was given in timely fashion. Appointment was booked in advance and service was awesome as always. They were on time and experienced. Trees look GREAT!

They had a very professional crew that did the trimming and did a great job on the actual work. The only negative thing I can say is they do not return phone calls, so I'm very disappointed in that. Their follow up isn't worth a damn. For that reason I don't think I'd use them again.

I really don't remember how much I spent on their services. They were prompt and professional. The arborist came out and gave me an estimate which was accepted. Workers arrived when scheduled and used their time effectively. Just before they finished, another person (a different arborist) came out and OK'ed their work. Very nice job. I will use them again in the future.

During the fourth treatment they sprayed my plants with defoliator instead of fertilizer. What they used is what they use to make olive trees not bear fruit. It is causing my Ash trees and Privet trees die. Last week they called in the head arborist in Clark County to check my trees. They are going to have to replace at least 15 Privet trees. They keep promising me they will make good on the problem, but we will see.
