Description of Work: Horrible experience with sales staff. We were told that all of the items we originally ordered were available through the store. Not so - we had to buy a major component online. We also had to settle for appliances that were not our first choice even though we were told they were available.

We were doing an extensive remodel to a piece of property we had just purchased, including a kitchen renovation. The contractor we had hired advised us not to do business with Ferguson because she has had several bad experiences with them in the past. So we ended up purchasing our appliances elsewhere (Westar) but we didn't think there would be any harm purchasing a couple of light fixtures from Ferguson. What a mistake!! We purchased a multi-three pendant light fixture for the kitchen on July 15, 2014, and a new semi-flush fixture for our home's entry way on July 28,2014. Terrance, the lighting salesman advised us it would take four to six weeks to receive the fixtures from the date of order. After six weeks went by we started calling Terrence asking about the status of the lights. He advised that both lights were on "back order," and would be delivered around September 15, 2014. When September 15th came around we called Terrence again to find out what was going on with the lights. All he could say is that he was trying to expedite the order and had called the lighting manufacturer (ELK) to get the lights delivered. I got the name and phone number of the contact person at ELK and called her. It was then that I learned that my lighting orders weren't on "back order" at all. Quite simply, my lighting order was sitting on a desk somewhere until the manufacturer received sufficient number of orders for them to ship the products from China. I confronted Terrance at Ferguson with this information and asked him if he had known that this was where our order was. He played dumb but then accused me of engaging in semantics because "back order" to him apparently means the same thing as your order is sitting around until enough people by stuff to get it shipped. I would have cancelled both orders right then and there but we had already waited along time for these lights and my wife really liked them so we kept waiting. The semi-flush light ended up being delivered the week of October 6th, for a total of over nine weeks. The pendant lights were another story. They advised that the light was ready for pick up around September 18th. My contractor picked up the fixture and discovered that it was missing the base and two pendants. This caused another delay with the lights finally getting delivered on November 3rd, a total of almost 15 weeks from the time of purchase. And do you think anyone at Ferguson would apologize or offer to compensate us in some way for the extreme inconvenience? Not a chance!! Boy I'm sure glad we didn't buy our appliances from these guys. We started and completed a total home renovation, including the delivery and installation of our appliances before Ferguson could deliver these two light fixtures. What a joke!!!!

Nice appliances awful customer service.
Description of Work: I have based this review on multiple visits to this store and can honestly say it's probably the worst customer service we've ever had. My husband and I are closing shortly on a new home and wanted to get an idea of what the potential costs will be for our new kitchen and bath. I asked a question to a male employee and the guy answered us then ran out the door to speak to someone in the parking lot. Not sure if it was a personal issue or not but the service and cleanliness were subpar. There were broken bath doors, dirt, and dead insects everywhere. I wish that Vegas was able to have a more competitive market for appliances because there are relatively few choices for high end kitchen and bath fixtures in the city.

We are redoing our kitchen and needed all appliances and a faucet. We also needed to have some lighting replaced which I think they also do. We were the only customers in the store except for one man at the service desk. There were a lot of people working and present in the store and not one person approached us to greet us or ask us if they could help us. We were in the kitchen appliance area and the kitchen faucet area. We must have been in the store for at least a half hour. My husband even held the door for someone that seemed to work there that was just entering the store. There were no prices on things so we couldn't wait on ourselves or get any information about the products without someone helping us. They have higher end products but what good are they if you can't purchase them. But thankfully there are other appliance stores in the area.
Description of Work: This store sells appliances for kitchens and bathroom fixtures and I think lighting. Not sure because no one ever helped us.
