Fast & Furious

the owner 'Lisa' was strange - said she 'lost' her car keys & we spent 1/2 day looking for them. Later my husband found them under a pillow (after her husband picked her & her 2 helpers up in his car). They left their car for two days before getting it. They cleaned on a Monday - that Sunday 'Lisa' called in a panic that she'd lost the check that I gave her - we were working on our voting ballots & I told her we were busy. I checked my bank & saw that the check had been cashed the Monday they cleaned & the day I gave Lisa the check. She kept texting me & saying she needed a new check so she could pay her workers. That night I went to bed early - upset by her harassment. The door bell rang & I told my husband NOT to let them in. It was Lisa & her husband - they threatened us with the police. My husband talked me into giving them a copy of the posted check - both sides. They left. I keep expecting more trouble from them. & wonder why they pretended to 'lose' their keys as a means to get back into our house? Since they lied about 'losing' the check (they had insisted on cash - in Lisa's real name not the business name) I didn't believe them at all.
