I have have to call some one in to fix my heating system every year and every year the same part gets replaced at the cost of over $600. I have a home warranty company and they give me a phone # of a company to call. I have had 4 different heating companies in the past. The technicians from Extreme Air were on time to the minute. The appointment was made at my convenience. When Daniel checked my heating system it took him maybe 5 minutes to determine what the problem was. He and he associate were able to take care of the problem within 10 minutes and without costing my insurance company $600. They also adjusted the water temp in my hot water heater. I appreciated the honesty and the expertise in which my problem was handled.
Description of Work: The technicians came and broke up the calcium deposits that made the heating pump in my central heating system inoperable.

Tech showed up, did not check system pressure or evaporator coil, but declared problem was dirty coil. On second visit, tech still didn't check pressure or inspect coil, and jumped to same incorrect conclusion. The worst service we have ever experienced from an HVAC company. Stay way from these incompetents!
Description of Work: Service tech dispatched by American Home Shield (home warranty company) to check central AC. System not cooling properly. Tech told warranty company problem caused by dirty evaporator coil. We checked evaporated coil, which was clean. Problem recurred on next 100+ day. After many phone calls to Extreme, warranty company dispatched them again. Tech reported same result without checking system pressures or inspecting evaporator coil. Finally we had warranty company dispatch another company for a 2nd opinion. Second company found and fixed problem quickly. 2nd company reported problem was low refridgerant level in system. 2nd company also inspected evaporator coil, reported coil was clean and did not cause problem.

Extreme Air really misled me when he installed my used air conditioning unit. It was supposed to still be under warranty. However, it wasn't. I was also disgusted, because the unit was smaller than I had wanted. I felt that he did poor work as it rattles like crazy. He worked on my neighbor's unit at the same time and did the same thing to him.
