Description of Work: The a/c guy was courteous and efficient. He changed a filter for me in an area where a ladder is needed, which I appreciated very much.

Description of Work: We bought the $49 spring tuneup through Angie's List. Was a little afraid we'd get an "upsell" because we hadn't had any tuneups in the 12+ years we've had our HVAC system. Serviceman did a complete check and said we needed 4 pounds of R22 added but the rest looked good. So we paid an extra $225 or so and got everything squared away. Serviceman was knowledgeable, not pushy. We'll use them again.

Description of Work: AireServ did a semi annual inspection on my HVAC system. David from AireServ checked my a/c unit and told me that the unit was in good condition and didn't need anything at this time. I was very happy with AireServ and will definitely use them in the future.

Description of Work: It was supposed to be an AC tuneup. They didn't tune up anything and didn't even perform the most basic test, temperature drop. Also, showed me some BS discoloring of an electrical connection and said it was a fire hazard. Told me I needed a complete new AC. Basically, their mission was to sell me a new AC at $12 - 14K. I was disappointed to say the least. FYI, my AC is 12 years old and I have never had any problem with it. And, am writing this as I am siting here in my cool air conditioned house.

Description of Work: I called in and right away I received a call from Chris from Aire Serv he told me as soon as he finished the job he was on he would be right over. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I have cool air thanks to him. He was very understanding taking time to explain so much. He gave me options to repair without insisting on a new unit like the last tech from another company wanted me to buy. He did a great job. I appreciate the service I got and would highly recommend him to anyone. I will definitely call for Chris to come out the next time I need air or heating repairs.

Description of Work: purchased BD for 49 for an A/C Tune-Up with One Pound of Freon

Description of Work: Good job and fixed the problem for about $300 when another HVAC firm pressed me to put in a whole new system for $5-$6,000. The HVAC has worked fine ever since they fixed it. Saved me a lot of money. |

Description of Work: Found two motors that needed replaced. I thought the expense was a little high but had to be replaced.

Description of Work: The service tech performed a preventative maintenance service on 2 heat pump units. I paid the excellent promotional rate of $39 per unit for this service, but the total cost included the replacement of a failed capacitor on one unit. The service tech was very personable and took great care in his work.

Description of Work: Using Aire Serv's website, I wrote to the company to ask two non-technical, easily-answered questions about what was/was not covered by their Angie's List offer. I received an automated response the next day from info@aireserv.com (04/02/2014) acknowledging that Aire Serv had received my request. |Unfortunately, the company never communicated further (today is 04/14/2014)and did not answer the simple questions. I had been prepared to purchase 2 of the deals. Oh, well. |I would not rule out dealing with the company. For all I know, they're generally good. But they dropped the ball on this round by failing to communicate.

Description of Work: We were having a problem with our heater blower motor. The Service tech inspected and tested the efficiency of the motor and blower. The blower had to be replaced. He was able to complete the change on the same day. We also had the outside A/C unit replaced because of age and performance problems. That was completed on the next day. He did a great job for us and maintained a helpful and positive attitude during this process. We do recommend this Company for others. |

Description of Work: Company did big deal service which was fine, but got a quote for another service and the quote seemed very high. Got another quote from a different company and the same service quoted was $1500 cheaper

Description of Work: This was a Big Deal for an air conditioning tune-up for $49.00. They did three units for us and that did cost more as the Big Deal was for one unit. He looked at one unit that was not working and he let me know the coil was broken. He said the other two units would need to be replaced soon.

Description of Work: They performed fall maintenance service on our furnace. Confirmed that the system was operating normally.
