Description of Work: We had Aire Serv perform a seasonal check and tuneup on our hvac system. The tech was pleasant, professional, and did the work in a timely fashion. He noted one possible repair and was not pushy about it. Would use them again.

Description of Work: they promised installation within 10-12 hours but it took two days and 16 hours. Attic was very hot which is where half the work needed to be done. The attic was the delay.

Description of Work: We recently purchased a used home in Summerlin area. AC was not working well. AirServe came out to diagnose and found a bad motor in one of our outside units; replaced on the spot. They also updated/replaced our internal thermostats (3) for more accurate reading and energy conservation. Technician made the recommendation to update the insulation surrounding the external pipes. We committed to annual contract to have them back in the fall to look at furnaces. Very professional and thorough company.

Description of Work: Chris checked our AC system in our condo. He was friendly and professional. I was especially pleased that he didn't try to sell us a contract or anything. I would call them again if we need any AC work.

Description of Work: They were late by several hours. The tech spent the entire time complaining about the age of my system and telling me I needed a new one for app. $20,000. He gave me a list of parts I needed but was unable to add the numbers. I had to total them myself. He changed my filters after I ran to Wal-Mart to buy them. He couldn't tell me how the flow of air could be adjusted. They may have better techs but I wasn't happy with mine.

Description of Work: I had to replace the HVAC gas-pack on my house after the failure of my home-warranty company to honor their contract and follow through on this. Aire Serv was finally chosen (partly from Angie's List recommendation, and a friend had also recommended them after they replaced his HVAC). All appointments with Jeremy, the General Manager, were met on time, and in the case of the actual replacement, Aire Serv came out earlier than scheduled, on a Saturday afternoon, and a 13-SEER Trane was swapped onto the house in just a few hours, with a full 10-year warranty on parts/labor. The tech, David, also did a pressure-test/inspection of the old AC before it was taken off the roof, and wrote up a detailed report on why it failed so I could submit it to the warranty company. Everything from the first call to the last went smoothly, and I had no problems. The "B" under Price was because I believe all the ACs I received quotes for - I contacted six AC companies in all - were overpriced, but this is more about the Las Vegas market driving the costs.

Description of Work: Outside AC unit top operating late one afternoon. Found Aire Serve on Angie's list. Called after hours. Call was answered promptly and I was offered choice of emergency or regular service. Chose regular service and was promised call back first thing next morning. Aire Serve called as promised and scheduled service call for same morning. Tech called before arrival and arrived as scheduled. Tech diagnosed problem within 15 minutes and completed repairs within another 15 minutes. Problem was failed capacitor. Bill reduced $69 by use of Angie's List coupon. Excellent work done promptly and correctly at reasonable cost.

Description of Work: Main Air Unit quit working due to short in the controller. They came out within 3 hours of the call,diagnosed problem others had failed to find, replaced the defective part and repaired the unit on the spot, checked the system for proper functioning and were gone in an hour. Very effective and professional.

Description of Work: The replaced our air conditioner /heater. They were 3+ hours late for the scheduled instillation and the process took apx. 8+ hours to complete. We were not given the 10% senior discount and when we asked for it we were ignored. my husband called the owner and he said our quote was considerable higher than what we paid because we did receive the discount. My quote and invoice do not reflect what he told my husband. A company does not give a consumer a sizable discount and not tell them or list it on the invoice. We should have gone with our other bid but live and learn. However the service tech from Air Serve who did the electrical work was wonderful.

Description of Work: I ordered the coupon very, very early the morning of May 21 and it stated that Aire Serv would be contact me by May 23. As of 3:10pm May 23 I still had not heard from anyone so I called them. Because of the week-end & holiday my appt would not be until May 28th, this made me very unhappy since my a/c was running constantly and indoor temp was 82 & rising. On May 27th I called & said that we really needed service that day & why. Katie said that she would have someone come out that day. Adam came and was very friendly and professional and redeemed Aire Serv in my eyes. Thank you Adam!

Description of Work: I purchased an AC tune up package from Angie's list. The company was very professional on the phone. David showed up on time and ran me through all of what he was doing. I felt comfortable knowing what he was doing. He checked my condenser and the main unit as well as washing down the outside of the motor. He also confirmed the unit was ready for summer. Overall I'd use them again if I had an issue with my unit.
