We contacted Aire Serv to introduce ourselves as property managers and inquired with them about maintaining the HVAC systems on our rental properties. The service was okay; however, at our primary residence, a month later we had to call out another repair service, who recommended replacing the circuit breaker with a 50 amp, as we had a 40 amp originally installed. On the rental property, the technician thought the compressor may have been too small for the size of the unit; he did check the unit carefully, then said he would confirm with the office. We never heard back on the outcome, and assumed it was okay. Would have appreciated confirmation.

I purchased the special deal on line and made the appointment. The technician came out on time and called me ahead, since the property was vacant. Even though I did a home inspection before, the technician gave me more accurate info about the unit, such as, the year of the unit, what parts might go bad in 2 years, what further service it might need. It gave me a piece of mind without worrying too much. Especially when I purchased a home warranty program right after, I know the AC is covered. There should be no surprises.

Technician was well presented, prompt, courteous, knowlegeable and took the time to answer my questions.
In process of checking the unit, technician found major cracks in the furnance heat exchanger tubes.
Gas was shut off as this is a major health hazard. Because I had a Home Warranty policy no further business was conducted after the units at each location were checked.
Air Serve is a "top notch" company.
Note that I give my home warranty company, Fidelity National Home Warranty kudos for their assistance in working through a replacement vice repair of the HVAC unit.

Luis was very prompt and professional. He explained everything he did very clearly. I was having some problems with my hot water heater so he inspected it too. In fact I had home protection service to cover appliance breakdowns. The heater began leaking so the insurance company sent out some fly by night repair service who just jimmied around with the heater till it stopped leaking presumedly so they could collect another co-pay if the fix lasted longer than 30 days. I cancelled the service as a scam and a couple weeks later I had Luis out to replace my old water heater. He did a super job with the install. It was a little expensive but the new heater was American made and thus had a better warrenty.
I have full trust in how Luis works. He stands behind everything that he does. I would not hesitate to have Luis back again.

He checked my air-conditioner and said I didn't need anything at this time but that the contactor is lightly pitted. When he left I looked at the service paper he gave me and it said heavily pitted with pitted underlined. I was not impressed with this service man. I was not outside with him when he checked the air-conditioner.

Everything went very well. We had previously contracted Aire Serv when we purchased a Big Deal for an A/C tune-up. At that time the technician had warned that the condenser motor was getting old and probably had about 6 months left on it. He gave us an estimate, including purchasing a service agreement, and did the tune-up without any difficulties at that time. So when I noticed the A/C wasn't working on 10/2, I wasn't terribly surprised. I called Aire Serv and they were able to get a technician out very quickly. Sure enough, it was the condenser motor that was no longer working and had to be replaced. The technician was quickly able to replace the motor with a new one and the A/C was back up and running. My husband decided to purchase the service agreement ($159) since we were happy with their service. When I arrived home I noticed a green wire poking up from the exterior of the A/C unit, which I had not seen before. A quick call to Aire Serv resulted in an immediate call-back from the technician, who explained that the manufacturer of that particular motor included a ground wire, and that's what I was seeing. I was reassured by the quick response and the simple answer.

We have used Aire Serv (Jim) since October 2011. They also have done some repairs (furnaces and air conditioners). Jim always arrives on time and explains what service he is performing, what he has found and repaired if needed. We will contine to use Aire Serv in the future.

We will probably not call this company back. They didn't wow us and I have seen the same price advertised with other companies. So it appears that the offer wasn't a "special" offer.

There are lots of companies willing to come out for much less than we do. There are even companies will to come out for free. We pride ourselves on being a company that does a good job.
