Description of Work: I contacted them to perform an air conditioning tune up I purchased from Angie's list which they did and I was happy with. During the check up, gaps in the duct work were found. Instead of the fixing the issue he wanted to replace all the duct work. It was a really costly repair. I then called my home Warenty company to repair the duct work. The pulled the duct work together. In the end, I don't know if the Warenty company just put a bandaid on a bigger issue or if I was being over sold a repair by this company... At this point, I do not intend to call them again to perform repairs bc their quote seemed high.

Description of Work: I was told they were booked for the day Monday but would let me know if something opened up. Around 6, I get a call from Ruben saying he can be there in 20 minutes. When he arrived he found the problem (broken capacitor) and fixed it within 30 minutes...he was knowledgeable friendly, and efficient. I would definitely recommend doing business with Aire Serv !!!!!

Description of Work: Inspected AC system. Replaced a capacitor used to assist in the starting of the blower for the system and replaced a capacitor on the condensing unit outside that assists in starting the compressor.

Description of Work: It was an Angie List special to check out our A/C. I have had no problems with the unit. The service technician arrived on time and was cordial. He looked at the a/c and said while the condenser was OK the condenser motor was leaking fluid and should be replaced along with the motor's starter switch. The cost would be $598. I asked if I were to wait until the motor broke would that damage my condenser. The technician said it could, which naturally made me serious considering replacing the motor immediately. I held off on getting the work done and called a technician I know who works for another a/c repair company. He said that if the condenser motor were to stop functioning, that would not result in damage to the condenser. He said outdoor a/c units have high pressure switches that prevent that. I am not an expert and do not know for sure who is correct, but I do feel the Aire Serv technician might have been misleading me so that I would feel an urgency to get the condenser motor replaced by him.

Description of Work: The A/C unit went out in my rental property in Las Vegas and I looked up a few A/C companies via Angie List I called them and they went over and provided me an estimate the same day. They replaced the unit and the tenant is very happy
