I have no complaints, the work went as expected

I did not have to replace my A/C and furnace, but decided it was getting time and I wanted more efficient equipment and something that would not be held hostage to the increasing price of Freon. In accomplishing this, I interviewed about 7 A/C companies to come and give me a bid on what I wanted. Aire Serv was a company recommended to me by several good friends. In the end I had narrowed my choices down to three excellent companies. Aire Serv demonstrated they wanted my business and gave me the best price not only on the equipment but also on a 10 year parts and labor warranty and a yearly maintenance agreement that would cover the new unit and another ductless unit and include the yearly changing of the central air filter. The installation of the new equipment was outstanding. The whole installation crew could not have been nicer and more professional. The front office staff was responsive and actually fun to deal with in getting everything from payment, to registration of the new equipment and everything city inspected in a timely and efficient manner. The General Manager was great to deal with in giving me a price for the whole package that demonstrated he wanted me as a customer. In the end I got an outstanding deal by a highly rated and most professional company at a cost of less than $6725 from a bid for the same equipment from a competitor. I wanted a company that not only would give me a great price and a well done installation, but would also be a company that I could have a long standing relationship for the future. Aire Serv is that company!

I called the office on a Sunday morning and by noon I had cool air. The technician was knowledgeable, professional and efficient.

It went very well. I was at work and my wife was home to handle the call. She was very impressed with Josh. She said he was very patient with her answering all her questions. She asked some questions in different ways and he took his time to answer politely and thoroughly. Needless to say she was VERY impressed. NOT and easy thing to do. They also accepted Angie's List coupon and gave no hassle over price discount!! AWESOME!!

Great. Checked air conditioner and tightened so things.

The advertisements I received via e mail claims "$3,799 for a New Air Conditioner Installation, 47% Savings" The fine print reveals the discount is for a 4 ton heat pump unit according to an Air Serve employee. Upon investigating the majority of Las Vegas is serviced by gas therefore a 4 ton heat pump is not often used. This great deal from Angie's List is a lead generator!

Rep was very informative. Service was performed as requested. Would use again for A/C service.

It went well. Felt like it wasn't worth the price because it only too about 10 minutes.

The day he came, it was really hot. I was very grateful that the technician, Chris, made sure that everything worked properly. He even remembered me from when I hired them about 3 years ago! Chris was polite, efficient, and provided excellent customer service. My experience with this company was simply superb.

Prompt response for AC out on hot days. New unit nice and cold. HAPPY!

They had us back up and cooling in no time.

They came to my house in late April to do their inspection and found nothing wrong and said everything checked out fine. A month and a half later I noticed that the unit was having trouble keeping up and was constantly running. I called and scheduled an appointment for them to come out sometime between 2 and 4 pm. Once 6 pm came around and no one had shown up I called to get a status update and the dispatcher seemed annoyed that I was calling to see where my technician was. She said she would page the technician to call me. 7:30 pm came and no one had called so I called back with pretty much the same response. Someone did call me after that and told me that they still had one more appointment before they could get to my house so I canceled. I ended up calling my home warranty company and had them send someone out. They found that my capacitors needed to be replaced and said that it was pretty obvious that they needed to be and suggested that they weren't checked by the Aire Serv technician.

Chris was prompt and professional and very nice and completed the repair so we had AC for that night.

Easy to schedule an appointment and a technician quickly arrived. The technician was super professional, courteous and informative. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and have already recommended to a friend who also needed A/C service.

After the inspection the service man told me that I needed a whole new unit. I wasn't too interested in that so he gave me another option. He said all of the coolant had evaporated from my unit and it would cost me $1000 to replace it. He said that because my AC unit was old it used an older type of coolant which was very expansive because they don't make it anymore. If I waited, he said, it would cost me even more because the price for this coolant kept going up. It seemed he really wanted to sell me this coolant, yet he also said that he couldn't guarantee it wouldn't just leak out again. I declined his suggestion and showed him the door. I highered a different AC company and they sent someone to inspect the same ac unit. They said it had a small leak, the coolant HAD NOT evaporated, they just had to top it off because it was down just a little bit. They fixed the fan and it has been working fine ever since. They got the job done for $69. This was my experience. Draw your own conclusions.

Arrived on time. Explained what they were doing clearly. Did exactly what was called for.

In the middle of this terrible heat wave our central air system went out. Not really a surprise because extreme heat over an extended period is one of the worst scenarios. I have health issues and really am not supposed to be exposed to extreme heat for extended periods. I called several HVAC companies and was told someone would call me in about a day. The ONLY company to return my call has been Aireserv. Their technician, Joshua Anderson, called late Sunday afternoon and informed me he was finishing a call and I would be next. Then then called again and said he was on his way and would be here in about 15 minutes. It only took him about 5 minutes. I was quit surprised as I didn't expect service until some time during the week. He was quickly up on my roof, diagnosed the problem and repaired the cooling system. He had the part on his truck so no return call was needed. Thank GOD we had cool air again. We thought we were going to need a complete new system and really could not afford one in the near future. Aireserv should be very proud of the Joshua. He is extremely efficient, very considerate, and very knowledgeable. We feel very lucky to have had him as our technician and will always ask for him in the future and recommend him to our friends and family. Thank you Aireserv and especially Joshua! Jerry & Jerri E.
