I was pleased with the service. They came out twice. We have used them before in the past as well. They had to reschedule our appointment which was inconvenient, but I understood why. I like the sales person because they just like to inform us and not push sales.

Tech showed up on time, very courteous and knowledgeable. After servicing units, he recommended cleaning and sanitizing one of the AC components. He fully explained the process without any hard sell. I agreed to have this service done. This and the fact I chose to have both AC and heating units serviced increase the price.

Troy evaluated two air conditioning units. One unit was functioning well and the second unit the start amps was 81.7 which is close to the LRA. We opted to wait until the unit stops functioning and will replace it at that time. The older unit cools the downstairs while the newer unit cools the upstairs. Aire Serv was the only provider which I had found listed on both the Nevada Energy website and Angie's List. We would use their services again.

This is the second year I used them. Used the $53 coupon from Angie's List. Since I had to go to work, it was set up to call me a half hour before the repair man arrived so I could get back home for him. David arrived on time and had the problem diagnosed and fixed in 10 minutes. I signed up for their tune-up (forgot what it's called) where they check and clean everything now and again before winter. He found the coils inside the house were very dirty and cleaned them. Excellent service!

The technician Adam is knowledgeable and helpful in answering my concerns. He wore booties inside my house and cleaned up the debris before he left. The job took 6+ hours, as promised by the scheduling clerk. The technician informed me that the R22 refrigerant is low in the heat pump and that I need approximately 1lb.

.Could not be happier. I wanted a check up because there was a loud thumping coming from the unit. They made an appointment at between 2pm and 4pm. At 2:05pm Troy ,the tech, called me and said are we ready. Yes I said and fifteen minutes later he was there and the noise was fixed. Then he checked everything. He found that the Company that had installed this ,two years ago, had forgot to connect the second stage. When it got real hot, as it does all the time in Las Vegas, itis sup[pose to kick into the second stage, to cool more efficiently. Well it does now. I feel like I got a brand new air unit installed for under $50 . I even got a huge discount on a yearly service contract. Very good tech. knew his stuff, Ask for Troy

I had bought their AC tune-up special. Troy from the company came over at scheduled time. Upon inspection, one of the compressor units revealed problems. Troy discussed with me the different options and came up with a solution that fitted my budget. Troy provided me with a quote and scheduled the installation right away. He came over with the new unit on the scheduled date and time. Troy was very professional, did a great job and responded quickly and efficiently to all my queries. He got the installation done professionally and efficiently, didn't rush through at all. I am very happy with the service. What 's more important, I felt that I could trust Troy and this company, which is very different from my previous experience with two other HVAC companies. Fast response to initial contact and prompt scheduling of appointment. The tech was on time, very polite and professional. My heat pump unit is 12 years old, has been off warranty for a couple of years, and was not cooling well. The tech inspected the unit and showed me photos of the things he looked at on his smart phone, and we discussed what needed to be done immediately and what could be put off. That's what the $49 paid for. That was a very good value. One of the reasons I chose this contractor was that they said they would be prepared to do most common repairs on the spot. So the tech quoted me a price for the repairs I chose. I checked the prices later online: they were in the reasonable range. He did the repairs/replacements immediately and quickly and everything works fine. Overall a positive experience. I would use this company again.

He is very good, efficient, he was very honest about what the problem was, and what it would cost. I couldn't have asked for a better person. He came out and gave us his opinion, and we did not pay anything extra.

The day before the scheduled 'Big Deal' inspections our primary heating unit quit. Upon inspection it was discovered that the Hot Surface Ignition was cracked, which caused the furnace to quit. It was also discovered that the blower fan motor had lost its oil and was running dry so would eventually seize. Also the outdoor AC fan had play in it. Since the cost of repairs would be significant I asked Troy from Aire-Serv if it would be better to install a new unit rather than repair a twelve year old one. I had previously read that in southern Nevada's climate AC units are usually good for only10 to 12 years. He said that they had a Trane unit in the shop that they could install for $4,500. Two days later they installed the unit. It was a very difficult installation due to restricted space in the attic where the furnace had to go. They had to remove our second heating unit to get the new one in place and then reconnect it. The whole installation took about nine hours but they stood by the quoted price, which is a very good price for a 3 ton Trane system.

It went okay. The service man checked out my AC system and found the damaged capacitor. He explained that he had to replace it but that the part was not covered on the special I purchased. He told me that my AC unit should be good for a couple more years, at least.

This service was performed at the beginning of March 3/3. I purchased a $49 a/c service. While the vendor/Troy was running late, he still arrived and looked things over. This is a 1950's house and although the a/c is 9 years old we wanted to be prepared for summer. Troy showed up and took a lot of pictures of problems he saw: insulation damaged and needed unit needed relining, leaking oil from the capacitor, vents added to an addition resealed. He also suggested that the vents be cleaned and sanitized and set up an appointment for the next day. We had the vents cleaned (this vendor were running late, too) and we are encouraged that we are ready for summer.

Their sales representative made an appointment shortly after I called and requested an estimate. He inspected the HVAC system and gave me his written evaluation and needs. We discussed the various aspects of replacing the condenser and motor in the blower. I considered the proposal for a day or two and decided to proceed after I had again reviewed the comments on Angie's List. The vendor ordered the units we needed and then installed the condenser unit; a few days later they installed the new motor in the blower unit. The technicians all arrived promptly as scheduled, did their work professionally, and clean up after themselves. We were entirely pleased with the service as well as the 'new' air conditioner and the new motor in the blower unit. The house is now far more comfortable and the unit is much quieter than the old unit that got increasingly noisy as it continued to age and fail.

I purchased a Big Deal for $49 for a 20-point air-conditioning tune-up. He came out and took a look at my air conditioning system and he found that the fan was frozen, so he could not preform the service. He was very professional, I just could not use the deal.

Not much to say, routine service inspection found no outstanding issues.

As far as I can tell everything went well. Will not no completely until this coming summer and see how long everything lasts. But overall pleased.

Very Neat and professional. no problems with the service! Had questions about airflow in master bedroom, I wasn't 100 % sure he knew the proper fix for it. Would not use again for repairs but would use for yearly services.

That was great. It worked out well. He was fine. He told me that everything was fine now but I may need some future work down the road because the system is 16 years old. He told me what would be coming up down the road but I didn't need to do anything at this time. There were no additional charges.

Recommended replacing the blower motors on all three systems at $500/motor and retrofitting the two-zone system with an insulated, metal plenum to bring it up to code at a cost of $500. Suggested I consider replacing the three cold-air return paper filters on the two-zone system with lifetime, electro-static filters.at a cost of $600. Total cost of the proposed work - $2600. I deferred having the work done until the beginning of 2014. I proceeded with the replacement of the three blower motors, fabrication of the insulated, metal plenums for the two-zone system, and installation of the electro-static filters on 01/08/2014.

Fortunately,every thing looked in great condition. I will use definitely Chris and AIRE-SERV in the future. Thank you very much, Chris!

The service was as advertised. They were competent and did what they were supposed to. He did not try to over-sell me. They did a good job overall.

Chris M. came over at the time arranged. Through out his visit he was professional, friendly and informative. At no time was he "sales-like" or "pushy" for services. He inspected our outdoor A/C unit and the motor in the attic. Chris sat down with me and my husband and let us know about our A/C and the NV Energy rebates that applied to our home. Bottom line: He DID NOT make up expenses and that we need this or that. We researched our system and rebates before he even came over and everything he said was correct and honest. My experience with them was excellent! They were punctual, responsive and professional. We ended up spending more than we expected because we needed to have some thing done based on the advice they gave us. The service call itself was a freebie, and what we did was totally up to us and not as a result of them pressuring us into making that decision.

He just wanted to sell me some several thousand dollars of new equipment. I was very disappointed.
