great service, will use again next year

I have used Aire Serv for the past few years for both my A/C and Furnace maintenance and I will continue to do so.

They were easy to contact,came on time, knowledgeable, and very clean, I would buy the big deal again if they offered it.

Service was completed quickly and the job was thorough. Inspected entire system and reported on condition. Made recommendation for necessary work. Tech was professional and courteous. Arrived within scheduled time frame.

A+ for AngiesList for providing this service. A+ to Aire Serv for participating as an AL listed contractor. And, last but not least, A+ for technician Kurt Gaylord for his great service, detailed attention to his job, and thorough knowledge of his chosen specialty! First, for full disclosure, I am not related to nor do I know any person connected with Aire Serv beyond a few phone calls to schedule the service call and, of course, the service call itself. Second, for perspective, I am a retired Building Inspection Supervisor. I am also the son of an HVAC service technician. So, I have some knowledge on the subject. Ok, now for the review: Bottom line is that this “deal” was well worth the cost just for the education provided by Kurt! The actual service itself was icing on the cake. To begin, scheduling was a pleasure. Dealing with Katy on the phone was easy and efficient. She was extremely pleasant during each call...and I called to schedule and then reschedule three times! Wouldn’t have blamed her if she had gotten annoyed. But, she did not. Kay is truly an asset to the company. Technician Kurt Gaylord arrived a bit early, but not inconveniently so. I was happy to see him early so I could get on with the rest of my day. I met him at the front door and saw that he was already wearing disposable booties over his shoes. Can’t beat that level of consideration! I took him to the rear yard where the three units are. Without hesitation Kurt opened his little black bag and started working. (Was this guy a home visit doctor in a previous life?). However, he immediately said he was OK if I watched (as if he could stop me!) and even offered to explain what he was doing. Of course I seized the offer. He had all the equipment and all of the tools he needed in the black bag. Never wasted time going back to the work truck to get something. I gathered that Kurt is officially a “technician.” I don’t think the label does him justice. “Master” comes to mind. “Educator” would work. I’ll opt for “Professor.” So, Professor Kurt and I discussed a number of topics, mostly about the work he was doing. He never missed a beat in in getting the job done. He was never distracted from his focus on the tasks at hand. I’ve had workers that had no problem chatting for the hourly wages instead of working for them. It was clear that Professor Kurt’s attention was the job all the while keeping me, the client, entertained and informed. Professor Kurt smoothly and efficiently checked and analyzed the important functions of our three heat pumps. He explained each step, each reading, and the meaning of each reading in language that I could comprehend. I felt that he would have adjusted his level of tech-speak to the level of any client of the moment. Professor Kurt finished the job in less time than I expected…a good thing. He reported that all systems were good and there were no indications of pending issues. He gave me tips on how to keep it that way. Never tried to sell me anything. But he did: he sold me on Aire Serv. Aire Serv now on my speed dial.

I wouldn’t use them again. They technician was nice but he didn’t do any actual work for the tune up and told me I had a crack that was not visible to me. I felt it was a sales pitch; they were trying to sell me a new unit. He couldn’t fix the problem I had with the switch that I had pointed out to him.

They performed a thorough review and test of my air conditioning system. The technician provided good feedback.

I purchased a deal through Angie's List last year for $88 that included a fall and spring check. This visit was for the spring service. Kurt was the technician sent by Aire Serv, and I thought he was great. He asked if I wanted to watch him complete the service, and he took the time to explain everything he did. I've had service checks done several times before, but hadn't watched the technician do the work. It was actually quite interesting. I thought Kurt was one of the best technicians I've had. Kurt did not find any issues that needed to be repaired, so there was no additional charge for the visit. I did decide to purchase an annual plan for $120, to cover my spring and fall checkups for another year.

My experience was good. I have had no issues with them. They keep their appointments with us well. They are knowledgeable and friendly in the appointment. Sometimes, when they come out to look at the HVAC system, I am not sure how necessary some of the services are that they suggest to do. However, they do not pressure me to do anything I do not want to do.

Kurt, the technician, was a very curteous and professional young man. His work was very thorough and explaining in detail all the service he did on the two AC units. He also helped answer a problem we have with the noise level of one of our units in recommending a high efficiency blower motor which will cut down on the noise and reduce energy cost. Additionaly, I can get a $300 energy credit from NV Energy for reducing power consumption. I plan to have him back in the fall to service our heating units.

First of all Adam was on time. I have experience several disappointing moments where a service provider would show up late or not at all. To my absolute pleasant surprise Adam was there. When I opened the door there was a red mat on the ground outside. He put booties on his shoes and he introduced himself to me and my barking dog. He immediately began walking me through the process and what I would expect from this check up. He was thorough, polite and very knowledgable. I know that after almost 20 years of hard work, my A/C will need work if not, replaced. Aire Serv Heating & Air Conditioning will be my first call. Thank you!

They are amazing. We have recently purchased a new heating system from them. David, a tech is wonderful. He is very knowledgable in his field. They came immediately installed the new unit cleaned up and installed a new thermostat.. I would use them again and recommend them.

I received a phone call that a tech was on the way. The tech was on time. He went over their inspection list and was gone. I've used Aire Serve now for a few years. They are very attentive and professional. I had a small issue last summer and Jeremy took care of it. Couldn't ask for more.

Everything was great - minus being delayed 1 hour past scheduled time. They gave us a window of 10am-12pm saying the service tech would call. At 11:50 am, we heard nothing so called them. They advised the tech was probably running late and would let us know if the delay would be more than 1 hour. The tech did call at 12:30 saying he'd be here in 30 minutes. Once he arrived, everything was great. Professional, explained everything, very efficient. Would use Aire Serv again.

These guys are excellent. Always prompt, professional, courteous and honest. I have used them for a few years and have never been disappointed!

It went very well. The serviceman certainly knew his stuff. He wasted no time and was very professional about his work. I thought that the overall cost of the service performed regarding the labor was fair. However, the cost of parts I thought were a little high.

See above. I want a refund of my service contract with this company. I wrote you all the above info back in 2013 and never heard from you about this company or my refund.

I was anxious about having my A/C looked at because another service told me that I needed hundreds in repairs and perhaps a replacement of my units because the parts would likely not be available for my 6-year old units. I was relieved to find out they were wrong. When this repairman arrived he was prompt and professional. He gave a thorough explanation of what he had done and said my A/C units were in good condition. I am always surprised when a repair service is honest. But they will get my business again because of that.

Tech arrived at the time he said did complete job showing me the bad capacitor and recommended it be changed. So I agreed and job was done in a timely manner.

slight hiccup on the time for appt. original time was 10-12 when I called they said between 12-2 but since had already taken off for work was no problem. arrived about 1:45 or so. Adam was professional and explained in detail what he could do. said there was a small leak in the system and said some of the electrical needed to be changed out at the contacts. He Checked 2 units one which had no problems. suggested to add leak seal in system and to charge system with 4 lbs Freon. cost of electrical was about $ 261.00 per unit. (I have 2 units) and cost to charge system and add leak seal was 616.00 . I know R-22 is expensive but thought the cost of the leak seal part was little high for what process was actually done. I chose to have him do the work on the charging and sealing but not the electrical. ( not counting the $49.00 for each unit prepaid to do tune up on 2 units.) will see how the system works in the next couple of days. As far as Adam the service tech, he was nice, professional and very informative. Would use him again. As far as pricing for services from company I think that should be checked for a comparable price with other companies.

Chris was absolutely wonderful. His customer service and quality of work were above and beyond outstanding. He was professional, personable, polite, friendly, very thorough and informative. I found the value of his service to be so great I insisted on tipping him. He represents the company extremely very and I hope they realize how valuable of an employee he is. I would highly recommend him and will be using him for any air conditioning needs in the future! I cannot say enough wonderful things about him!

I was impressed with them because they are very technically astute on new technology, especially in reference to "smart" thermostats. They are extremely professional and arrived on time. I've been very happy with them and have been able to establish a great relationship with them. I am not driven solely by price, I tend to focus more on customer service/responsiveness and they have been great in that area. As a "by-the-way" notification, he checked out my vents and ducts and noted that there was quite a bit of dust and debris there and he recommended a duct cleaning and provided a discount for me as I am an Angie's List member.
