When it comes to HVAC, we had our fair share of contractors. We dreaded calling a HVAC companies in the past because of the constant run around and always leaving with that feeling that they are out to take advantage of you. That is not the case with Aire Serv. They stood by their upfront prices and impeccable customer service. They we very patient to explain the situation to us and got us working temporary until the parts arrived. We will look no further for our HVAC work. I especially like that they had the heart of the teacher to make sure we understood the problem before we moved forward. In fact, they were so kind that they recommended not to a certain service until the weather was right. It was enlightening to see a service company that cares about their customers instead of their bottom line. Thanks Aire Serv!!!

We had a different technician than the previous time but the new one was very knowledgeable and specialized in heating units. They are very professional and haven't tried selling anything I don't need.

Technician arrived promptly. He was courteous, professional and knowledgeable in answering questions.

During the furnace inspection, technician noticed ignitor & capacitor needed to be replaced. He gave me an estimate, but since I do not know anything about furnaces, I thought it was going to be a labor intensive job with parts that were expensive. When he finished in 15-20 minutes, I was shocked. I asked him how could you possibly justify $521.00 for 20 minutes of work? I asked how much do the parts cost? Tech said he didn't know. I asked the tech to leave the boxes that the parts came in, so I could check prices on the internet. I later checked & found that parts were approx $20.00 for both parts. It was obvious that I got ripped off. In addition to being disgusted at the unscrupulous practice of this company, I was saddened by the fact that I hired this company through Angie's List. I trusted AL, and now I feel betrayed. I learned my lesson. I will never authorize any additional work from companies on Angie's list. Very sad.

The Technician, Dom, was very professional and knowledgeable. He did a great job servicing my Furnace.

It was just fine. They came out when they said they were going to and they checked everything out. I think my wife was here at the time. She confirmed that we didn't get as much as we normally were used to in all the other inspections we got when we lived in Texas and that was to clean out the vents on the compressor outside and also to put in a new filter in the house. In this particular case, he just verified that the unit was working and that was it. He didn't put any filter in or clean out the dust from the compressor. For the next year we've already made arrangements. We have a home warranty and the home warranty company is going to take care of it.

Charlie arrived, assessed the problem was low Freon. It was added and working great. Charlie explained everything he did clearly. We purchased a 1 year service contract as well. Great WORK Air Serv, and Charlie!!!

Did few tries on the AC Cooler to fix it right. But finally did a good work to finish it right. Regarding condenser looks expensive but the work was done right.

They were perfect. I got a second visit for a discount, "If you do this for a year we'll do this." So, I'm still with them.

They found the problem and were able to get the parts under warranty

I don't know what is going on. I'm new to the desert, so I suppose the systems used are different. I'm just trying to keep what we have/just bought in good working order. They came out and looked at the Air conditioner. Not sure what they did other than put a protective coating around one of the pipes going into the building. There still is junk inside. It's still dirty. Paid almost $300 for a thermostat. The day they did the maintenance I asked them to bring a filter for the air handler and show me how to put it in properly. Maybe I'm a numbskull. This is what I wanted. When they came to put the thermostat in they didn't bring a filter. I've called maybe 4 times to get them back out here to put the filter in and show me. Two times they said they will call the next day to schedule. I'm still waiting. Well, this is my first review and the worst company I have hired on Angie's List. I'm totally confused at how they get such a high rating. They did have no problem trying to sell me a $4200.00 new air handler. lol....I'm disappointed to say the least. I got a call today to call them back to make an appointment. I assumed they got the filter in. When I called they said they will call tomorrow to make the appointment. Why am I calling to be told they will call me back. This has happened twice now. I'm trying to make my property better and keep it nice. Our condo isn't extravagant nor do we live in an exclusive area, which may explain the lack of respect. I have no value to give them at the moment.

FABULOUS! Aire Serv has been my go-to for heating and air conditioning since i joined Angie's List and needed a service provider. This company is quick to respond and does great work. Technician Dom is a true genius when it comes to all things HVAC and I trust him to do exactly what is needed. He carefully researches the problem, offers the solution and completes the job skillfully.

The technician spent a lot of time making sure he diagnosed the problem correctly and ended up replacing the compressor. I checked with a few other companies and this was the only one that would apply the diagnostic fee to the cost of the repair.

The technician came out the same day that I called. He automatically said we needed to recharge our unit. He never even looked up in the attic, but our unit was freezing up so I figured he was right. It took many hours to cool down after he left, but it eventually did cool down. When I called at 4pm they had already left and would call me back in the morning. He did call as the phone answering service said and I thought it was working fine. However, later in the day, it started to do the same thing and now my house is 81 degrees and they cannot get hold of the technician because he is on another followup. Hopefully they can get him out today, but probably tomorrow morning. Our unit is now making a funny noise to top everything! I would suggest calling another company. Update 9.19.16 - After talking with the company, they did refund our payment since my husband went ahead and cleaned the coils, which solved our problem.

Not well, paid Angie's price, tech came out found a unit not working (compressor), end up spending approx. $700, but work I paid for did not get done, until I called to complain to business owner, he sent some by the next available time slot, and refunded by intro offer from Angie's as well as offer me svc for the rest of this year, on AC work. So the meat of the story, don't be afraid to ask why was work hired for not completed, disptcher error, they did not inform tech to do svc call, so he shows and just get's it running again.

Not so good. they found one. Duct That was disconnected they wanted to charge $300 for 5 minute job. The $50 system check up is a joke. All the duck needed was some duct tape to seal it back to the vent.

Jeremy came out, super nice guy, said he would call in a couple days with estimate. My husband pretty much already decided he would be the one as we were getting 3 estimates, and his attitude impressed him. Then we got the estimate....$2,800 that is ludicrous! We told him that too, but he said he had to pay for a cherry picker. We understand a cherry picker for a air conditioner as they are heavy, but we have put 3 replacements on this house and never needed one before as swamps are light and can be pulled up in pieces. We dunno if he never put one on before, or if he was trying to rob us because we are older, either way, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
