Experience was excellent from start to finish. Setting an appointment at the store. Visiting the store. Taking samples home. Picking colors. Measuring appointment. Purchase process. Install process. Etc, all fantastic. Pricing was what I would call fair and honest. They stand behind their work for life. So, I expect to pay more than for the lumber liquidators installer that completely hosed my staircase install. This stuff was done beautifully. The attention to detail was amazing. Notching the base around the bull noses, etc. We got surprised by the door casings being cut way too short by the last installer. So, the crew chief and I came to an agreement to resolve it there on site for minimal cost and maximum result. The perfect way to handle such an issue.

I found Tom Rossi at Expert Flooring Solutions on Angie's List. Based upon his excellent ratings, I called him last week and arranged to go to his showroom to see samples and get an estimate. I went there the following day and selected a carpet. He sent me home with a sample and a ballpark estimate based upon my knowledge of square footage. The following day he came to my home and measured. His measurements increased the estimate slightly. We agreed on an install the following week at 8:30 am. The installation team of 3 guys arrived at 8:30 as planned and worked until the job was completed, approximately 3:00 pm. They moved furniture and even dabbed a little paint in a place where the old carpet was sticking out too far and hadn't been painted to match the current wall cover. The installation team was neat, kind and took their job very seriously. They returned all the furniture, vacuumed, swept debris and hauled away the old carpet. I could not have imagined a better team. Tom has called to follow-up on all details. He is attentive, professional, and knows what he is doing.

Shawn came on the appointed date and gave us an estimate for the job. He was able to secure the same tiles for our main hallway to match our existing tile. The estimate included furniture removal/replacement, all carpeting removal, prepping the concrete base, installing all tile and laminate, and baseboard removal/replacement (with matching paint). Approximately 2 weeks after the estimate the first crew of 2 men began doing the tile portion of the job. These men were very professional, courteous, neat and often offered suggestions on handling transitional areas between spaces. After each days work, they always cleaned up. The tile work was completed in 3 days. We could not have been happier with the results. The tile work was fantastic and the tile matching excellent. The second crew of 4 men came approximately 4 days later, after the laminates were delivered to our home to acclimate. This crew was equally professional, courteous and neat as the tile crew. After work each day they were careful to put away all their equipment and made sure we had a clear pathway to get around our house. We were amaze that they were able to get the baseboards off without damaging the walls! Before installing them back onto the walls, all were painted with paint matching our existing color. Once completed, the work was so professional that one could not tell it had been removed.replaced. The completed laminate flooring in all 3 rooms looked amazing and we were more than satisfied with the outcome. The men very carefully replaced all the furniture back into the rooms, after placing felt pads on each. We were then given a demonstration on how to care for the laminate flooring with a sample product. Shawn returned one week after the job was completed to inspect the work done and to make sure we were satisfied. Only then was monies exchanged for the work done. We were told there is a lifetime guarantee on the work and he encouraged us to call if there was ever any questions. It is rare to come across a company that does such fine work, treats its customers with respect and ask for payment only when work is completed and the customer satisfied. We highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for flooring work. We would be hard pressed to see anyone who can surpass their standard.

I have had carpet installed by large box stores three times in the past and not once did it go well. I tried EFS and I was pleased overall. The estimator was very knowledgeable and took the time to ensure our complex job was considered thoroughly. The installers showed up on time and worked all day. They didn't order too much carpet and try to take the scraps. They moved furniture and returned it back where I asked them to place it. Overall the quality of installation was great. I would choose them again should I need flooring in the future.

I'm a renter who moved into a new place where I wasn't too excited about the condition of the carpets. I worked out a deal with my property management company where I'd eat the cost of the carpet and install, in return for long-term incentives. I wanted to find a reputable service professional that could offer a frugal, yet quality solution for my needs. Tom is a no-nonsense kind of guy. He's honest and straightforward, and knows the business really well. He mentioned that his prices weren't necessarily the cheapest in the industry, but it's due to the fact that he hires actual employees (not subcontractors), and takes care of them appropriately. He struck me as an ethical business man. He was very responsive via: Angie's List contact channels, direct email, and by phone. He was accommodating to my schedule when came out to the house to take measurements and provide samples and a quote. He offered me two choices for carpet types - the most modest option, and the next step up. I opted for a slightly higher quality that still fit into my budget. As part of the Angie's list offer, he included the upgraded carpet padding. His quote included everything: tear down and removal of the old carpet, padding, new carpet, and install. On the day of the install, two of Tom's crew members showed up right on time and immediately got to work. They were considerate and respectful. It was cold that day, and they made sure to close the door behind them every time they entered my home. They were also sensitive to my 4 year old daughter, who was a little intimidated by the process. They were friendly, yet efficient. The whole process took less than 4 hours. The quality of the work was good. I'm pretty nitpicky, and I noticed that a few corners where they had to wrap around the door jams were ever so slightly misaligned (carpet looked a tiny bit frayed), but I think it's more due to the average quality carpet than the workmanship. All in all, I felt the result was great considering what I paid for it. My place finally felt like a home after the new carpet was installed. I would recommend Tom's company to anyone who is looking for a great value for a carpet install. I can't speak to their higher-quality installs, but they seem pretty amazing based on what I've seen online.

These guys are the best!! Tom came out to see us and chatted with us about our family and what we wanted to do in the home. After taking some measurements, he made a recommendation about the type of carpet and pad that would best fit our needs, style, and price. He also gave us tips about taking care of the other flooring in the house. There was ZERO pressure to make a decision and we truly felt comfortable with Tom. Just talking to him I felt like I had an uncle from Chicago! The install crew was great! They were on time, courteous, and professional. We went through the house and talked about what the job was. After that, they started knocking it out. We just had home painted two days prior, and I can't find a single spot I'll need to touch up. They vacuumed the carpet and he inspected the entire house with me. I found absolutely nothing to complain about. This company is EXACTLY the reason I joined Angie's List. I wanted to find a company that would give me a fair price for quality work. Tom and Expert Flooring Solutions are a credit to Angie's List and I (and my friends and family) will never need to look anywhere else for my flooring needs!

On time and like clockwork, demo group came in first, very efficient. cleaned up the mess, and the next installers came in to wrap it up. Stretched perfectly, hard to see the seams.

First of all, the job was involved because the floor was uneven. The workers took care of every issue as it arose and kept us informed along the way. They did everything, including moving the furniture and putting felt pads on the bottoms of all the furniture so the laminate wouldn't scratch. Their knowledge and professionalism were very reassuring. These guys (and Keisha) really know the flooring business like none I've every worked with before. I've dealt with Home Depot a few times and another vendor and neither of them made me feel real confident about my purchase the way Expert Flooring did. I will definitely use them again if the need arises and will highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their flooring replaced.

Carpet looks great. They moved the furniture for us and put it all back. We had carpet installed upstairs in the hallway, master bdrm, master closet, 3 bdrms, and stair case. They came around 8:30 am and finished around 4:30pm. Tom called right after to make sure we were happy.

They were all professional in everything they did. They had to move all the heavy conference tables and credenzas for each of the five conference rooms and the reception area. They replaced them perfectly and actually cared about where everything was supposed to go. They were also reasonable and Tom Rossi was always responsive to any requests I made. My husband and i will use Tom Rossi and his company for any type of flooring in the future.

I found shopping for carpeting very frustrating. It was difficult to compare prices with different retailers, and it was hard to distinguish good quality from junk. I went shopping for carpet at several retailers during a 6-9 month period. I ended up going to Expert Flooring after seeing good reviews on Angie's List. Tom (owner) from Expert Flooring steered me in the direction of a particular brand that he believed was a good value (Mohawk Smart Strand). I also dealt with Keisha at their showroom. She was friendly and helpful. Shawn came out to my house to take measurements, and he also brought some carpet samples for me to look at. They give you one price which includes everything (removing your old carpet, moving furniture, padding, etc). The carpet installers came out on a Saturday morning at 7:45am, exactly when Tom said they would be at my house. They were courteous and professional. They moved some items out of the bedrooms that I could not move by myself (desk and dresser). They did a nice job installing the carpet. They cleaned up after themselves and vacuumed the carpeting before they left. I've only had the carpet for a month, so it's difficult to comment on quality and durability, but it looks fine. I am happy with the purchase.

This is the third time we have Worked with Tom and all the excellent people at Expert Flooring. We have installed laminate floors in 2007, for my fathers-in-law in 2011 and our new home in August 2015. In every instance and contact, everyone has been courteous, direct and low pressure. I cannot overstate how professional and knowledgeable this group is. They are direct and honest and in every instance in over ten years have never wavered in the quality of products and installation they provide. They have been dedicated in all three installs to doing the work quickly but not at the sacrifice of doing it right. Also, and this is just bonus, they have a great design sense as a group and helped us make some decisions that we absolutely loved. The only regret I have in my interactions with Tom an his excellent staff is that I took this long to post a review. I can't speak to anything except engineered wood flooring, but in over ten years of dealings Expert flooring has exceeded our expectations in price, durability and quality. These guys are awesome.

Tom convinced me to get the less expensive Mohawk SP210 rather than the 40-cents/sqft more expensive Westwind Bay. My mistake. I was also surprised by the 8 lb pad -- I inspected and walked on it when it was being installed; it was hard, thin, and filled with wood chips and scrap vinyl flooring shards, and not much foam. Under the installed carpet, the pad now makes crunching sounds when walked on (probably the wood chips breaking) and feels like the carpet was laid directly on concrete. If I were to do-over, I would have stuck with the denser Westwind Bay carpet at a slightly higher price, gone with a 6 lbs pad, and rejected the pad if anything was wrong with it before installation. The combination of a higher-quality carpet and pad would make for a much more comfortable and cushy floor; well worth the marginally higher cost.

We have had this ugly carpeting since we moved in to this house with the intent to replace it, We met with Shawn a year ago. Life, unexpected financial setbacks and things beyond control, stopped us from doing this at that time. We were finally ready to do it and we met with Shawn and Keisha at their showroom and picked out the flooring and the tile. We chose a little more priced laminate and tile. The results were beautiful!!! My wife who had been waiting over 3 years for this was so excited!!! Shawn and his crew are 100% professional. From Shawn's measuring and planning to Keisha's help in the showroom and the final work performed by Juan, with the tile and Jeff on the laminate install, the total process was great!! There was a issue with the placement of the tile in the master bath, Juan came in and fixed it the next day and re grouted everything. Jeff and his crew placed sliders under all of the furniture (which they moved) and instructed us on the cleaning and maintenance of the laminate. The whole process was worth the wait and the money. I would highly recommend Expert Flooring Solutions to any and everyone. You will not be disappointed!!!

I WOULD NEVER USE THIS FIRM, WHO NEEDS TO HAVE APPOINTMENT MISSED, AND THEN OWNERSHIP ATTITUDE

Mr. Rossi answered our request for the service in a timely manner. He came to the house with carpet samples, evaluated the job, gave us information about various types of carpets and their intended uses, mentioned trends in carpet selection for homeowners (important for resale value of the house). Mr. Rossi is pleasant to talk to and he answered a variety of questions we had, as until now we had wood floors only (before we moved to Las Vegas). He also gave us tips on how to get ready for the job, which we followed and which made the job easier for the crew (remove kick-knacks from furniture, etc). We also tied up the drapes/curtains about 3 feet above the floor level, to make easier for the crew and to spare us the job of removing curtain and rods up again. It all worked well. The crew of two was professional, spoke English and worked steady from about about 9 am to 4 pm. They moved the furniture from the rooms, then proceeded to remove the old carpet/ padding and took it away for disposal. They installed the new padding and carpet in a professional and aesthetically pleasing manner. There was some slight odor due to the glue used for the padding. We aired the house and the slight odor dissipated in about 2 days. We are please with the end results and recommend Mr. Rossi's carpet services to our best friends.

Sean came out to do a quote for my wife and I as they were the top rated flooring company we could find. It was immediately evident the care and knowledge that Sean had and he took the time to figure out exactly what we wanted and the best way to go about getting it.(even if what we thought we wanted didn't match the picture in our head) He brought several samples of carpet and gave us a sample of the tile we had selected from their showroom the week before. He was punctual and attentive. He took the time to explain the process and the possible difficulties and really laid our minds to rest about the whole thing. We ended up using another company in the long wrong based on the price alone but given the service I was provided in the number of visits and phone calls with Expert Flooring Solutions its no wonder they are rated as well as they are.

Expert Flooring is fabulous. They helped me all the way from selecting best carpet match, installation and clean-up. The areas re-carpeted look wonderful. Gabriel, the expert installer, returned to carpet additional stairs. The whole staff, owner Tom Rossi and his assistant Kesha are real pros and easy to work with. An excellent company, with fair prices. Can't wait to carpet tje whole house. Highly recommended!

Fabulous. Tom has a wealth of experience in the industry. He's super responsive, professional and very helpful. The guys who lay the carpet are also very professional. Removing the old carpet revealed a leaky toilet. Tom helped me find a plumber (who arrived within 2 hours!) and between Tom, the plumber and the head of Tom's crew they turned what could have been a huge problem into a minor hiccup in the installation of the new carpet. The installation guys turned up on time, they were thorough and clearly very experienced. They cleaned up after themselves and went above and beyond by finding some touchup paint to do the base of the walls of the staircase before laying the new carpet just in case there was a difference in the height of the old vs new. Fantastic. Thoroughly recommend Tom and his guys. I would definitely use Expert Flooring again.

They did a great job. Got us the carpet and flooring we wanted and worked with us in the install dates. Highly recommend.

Keisha and Shawn helped us choose our flooring...gave us the pros and cons, etc. Very personable, honest, and patient. Carpet and wood flooring crew came first day of project to move furniture and remove old carpet. They came on time, in fact, carpet crew came an hour and a half early and stayed till close to 8pm to reassemble large furnture and put them back in place. Since they temporarily placed furniture on balconies, wanted to make sure they moved them back in the house in case it rained. Carpet crew competed install the second day. Tom, the owner, came to check on his team on second day of project. Installation of wood floors took longer since ran into a few problems with transition pieces. Job also a little bit more difficult because of existing travertine tile, large baseboards, and built-in cabinetry. However, Daniel and his team did a beautiful job. Also put felt pads on all our furniture to avoid scratching new floors and moved them back in place. Expert Flooring Solutions goes above and beyond to make sure their clients are satisfied and happy with their work. On Daniel's last day, I had my sectional sofa cleaned. The company who did the service decided to move the sectional out of the room with the new wood floors and into the hallway for cleaning. When couch was returned to the room, I was instructed not to move it against the wall so the back would air out. Six hours later, we lifted the couch to move it against the wall and to my dismay, there was a huge gash on my new wood floors! Eighteen inches and perpendicular to the grain of the wood. Well I know who didn't do it because I was with Daniel when I instructed him where to position the couch. To make a long story short, Daniel came back and said not to worry, that I didn't have to pay anymore, they were going to make it right. And sure enough, he came the following week and removed six planks and replaced them with extra wood that we had. You couldn't even tell anything happened. Shawn also came a few days later to inspect all the work that had been done and didn't collect the balance until I was completely satisfied. Truly a great group of people to work with from start to finish.

Expert Flooring Solutions did an excellent job. Besides moving all of our furniture, they made every effort to cover and protect things from the dust. Throughout the project, they took the time to insure that the concrete base was level before any wood flooring was laid. Three days were spent grinding off high spots in our flooring and four days included the pouring of self leveling grout to fill in low spots in our flooring. The flooring is beautiful and we love the finish product. Big kudos go to Tom, Shawn, Keisha and especially the hard working installers, Jeff, Vinnie and Martin. Thank you so much!

They were great. I loved them. They came out and did everything they said they were going to do. He brought carpet out so I could look at samples. They didn't take any money in advance. They trusted me to pay at the end of the job. They were great. I would absolutely use them in the future.
