We found Expert Flooring Solutions through Angie's list. The recommendations were clearly superior so my first call was to them. Tom Rossi, the owner answered. We made an appointment for him to come by to give me an estimate. I was willing to go by his show room and but as it turns out he doesn't have one. (More on that later.) So he shows up when promised and I described what we wanted. He measured the areas to be covered and went through his sample book. My wife and I settled on the type and quality of the carpet right there and Tom figured up a price. I had yet to agree to anything thinking that maybe I would get an another estimate. There was no pressure from Tom, he understood completely. He offered to send larger 2x2 samples so we could compare the available colors. We accepted, combed through the available color options. Tom took notes. True to his word the next week all the samples arrived in the mail. My wife decided what color she wanted--trust me it's better that way. She and I discussed whether we even wanted to go through the hassle of getting a competitive bid and decided that we both liked Tom and the price was fair. My wife called him back a few weeks later and said we accepted his quote. We settled on a date of installation. Bright and early on the appointed day, his crew showed up. Those were some hard working and professional guys. They came with their tools, the supplies, and a great attitude. They were very careful with moving all of our furniture. That is a process in itself--laying carpet in a house full of furniture. Nothing was broken. And voila! At the end of the day, we had a brand new carpet that was well installed with a sense of pride. The job foreman had us walk through each room and ensure that the carpet was installed to our satisfaction and the furniture was were we wanted it--it was. There was one minor place on a step that looked "wavy" according to my wife. So they fixed it right there to her satisfaction. During the installation, Tom called and asked how things were going. I responded that his crews were doing a fine job. He didn't sound surprised. The next day, Tom called and came by for a final inspection. He walked through every room, as well, asked if we were happy--we were very happy. Now for why he has no show room. He said that all it did was add to his overhead. Since he didn't stock carpet, he didn't need one. It made sense to me. Only after everything was done did I write the check. Since then, I have confirmed that his price was very reasonable. In summary, Tom is an honest man, does what he says he will do, does not pressure anyone into a sale, and doesn't try to jack the price up with extra soil treatments, upgraded pad, etc. Actually, I asked him about the carpet pad on his first visit, and he said that he only lays one type--the best. And no money changed hands until the job was done. I recommend Expert Flooring Solutions without reservation. Tom has been in the carpet business a long time and knows what he is doing.

Tom came to our home with samples and we reviewed different options. No rush or pressure. We selected a carpet and a installation date. No down payment was required. The crew showed up on time and completed the job in timely fashion. We are very pleased with the result. Tom didn't want the check until the "Boss" (Carlyn ) got home to see for herself. I can't say enough good things about this company and its employees, but I'll try. I'm fussy and won't stop until I find what I want. I don't settle. After shopping for the right wood, I had to find someone to install it. Some companies couldn't help me with the baseboards, some didn't want to paint the baseboards, and some didn't even bother to call back after they had given me an estimate. But as I said, I don't settle and didn't want any of those other companies to do work for me. Then I found EXPERT FLOORING SOLUTIONS. While some companies say "we can't or we don't", EXPERT FLOORING SOLUTIONS say "let me see what we can do." This company wants happy customers. Tom initially responded to an email that I wrote at the end of the day. By early the next morning I had a reply. I called to set up an appointment. He came to the house with samples in hand, but I had already chosen the wood that I wanted. He called his supplier not later on but right then and there and gave me an estimate on the spot. This guy knows how to get a job done. My wood was on back order, but I was willing to wait. I didn't need to call Tom once to remind him to check on my wood, he always called me and kept me posted on where things were in the process. I knew upon meeting Tom that he was someone who would work hard to take care of me and who I could trust. I waited patiently for the wood and I knew in my gut that I chose the right company. I was not disappointed. Not only is Tom work-ethics oriented and ready to please, but so are his employees. Jeff and Ryan are two of the nicest, most polite, hard-working, helpful young men I have met in a long, long time and they know how to lay flooring! They did a spectacular job - clean and precise. I was so impressed by this company. I will call EXPERT FLOORING SOLUTIONS for my next project and can't recommend them highly enough. I had 2000 sqft of flooring installed. Combination of tile, hardwood and carpet. Tom told me what to expect and when to expect it. Installers showed up on time. The project took the amount of time promised. There were no surprises. Promised cost at the beginning was the cost at the end. The finished project looks great. I'm very happy with it. Tom answered all my phone calls and email quite promptly. The whole project went of without a hitch. Would definitely use them again. Have already recommended them to several people.

I had used Tom's company, Expert Flooring, twice before, once we had new tile put in a bathroom and laundry room, and once to re-do all the carpet in the house. We were ready to re-do our kitchen and dining room floor, and knew Tom was the right guy for the job. When we were ready, he came out and took measurements, and gave some guidance about what to look for... His tile-guy, Juan, is terrific-- professional, courteous, prompt and efficient. We are extremely happy with the new kitchen floor and will definitely use these guys again when we're ready to do more work on the house. You've found the best guy in the business.

He responded to our first contact quickly, and was on site to do an estimate in good time. His estimate was a good price, and the carpet he recommended was top quality. His family has been in the carpet business for many years, and it showed in his work. His men arrived early and finished the job later that same morning. They cleaned up after themselves, even picking up trash left behind by other workers. I inspected the place and couldn't find a single problem with the installation. A great job from start to finish!

We bought a house that needed updating. I initially worked with another company to select tile to coordinate with granite counters we also planned to have installed. The other company gave me an estimate that proved to be reasonable compared to most other contractors. However in the process of selecting companies in which to get estimates, I came across Expert Flooring Solutions on Angie's List and I am so glad I did! I recalled seeing they were an award winning company featured in an Angie's List magazine. From beginning to end, the whole experience was a delight! AND the complete quote/guaranteed price from this company was several thousand dollars less than the other companies and that price included the carpet as well. (The other estimates were just for the tile purchase and installation.) After the first phone conversation with Tom, we set up an estimate for a few days later. Tom was prompt to this and all appointments, and did a great job keeping me informed along the course of the job. In advance of our first meeting, Tom asked me to pick out some tiles at a particular store. At the first meeting, he measured the entire house, called the tile company regarding the cost of the tiles I selected, and left me with a complete estimate for the tile. We had not selected the carpet, but he showed me a few samples from his truck, recommended one, and gave me a ballpark price on the carpet and installation. At the next meeting, we chose the carpet and 5 colors. He called the Shaw Factory and had ~ 15 inch square samples of each color shipped to us at no cost. I had also decided that I really wanted to go with the tile that I had found at the first store, which was different from the one he usually used. Tom was agreeable to this and was able to keep the price the same as the original estimate. At the final meeting, we chose the color, completed some paperwork, and scheduled the work to begin. Tom estimated the tile job would take 8-9 days, and that estimate was right on. On the first day, a team of about 6 people came to our house to prepare the floor. We had removed the baseboards, old carpet, and tack strips ourselves. They removed the carpet padding, treated all the cracks in the foundation using several methods (chosen based on the size of the crack), removed all the glue, and completely cleaned the floor. They planned the tile job, centering from the front door, and were able to start tiling. The floor was immaculate after the prep job and they cleaned up very nicely each night before leaving. Earl and Stewart were the main installers that worked at my house. They were very competent, punctual, and pleasant people. Later in the week, I was asked to come pick the grout color. They had suggested one, which actually was the same color the tile design store had suggested. The tile looks fantastic!!! It really was an expert job, as their name suggests. The final day, our carpet was installed and it looks great too!

Tom is everything described by all the glowing reviews I read before calling him. I chose to call him because of the reviews I read here on Angie's List and it was the absolutely best decision I've made in hiring a contractor in years. I am now an avid AL fan as well as a fan of Expert Flooring Solutions. You can choose EFS with confidence that your expectations will be met and you will be a satisfied customer. Thank you, Tom!

The installers arrived on time the morning of May 10th. They were courteous and professional. They removed all the the heavy furniture from both rooms and placed them per our instructions. They removed the carpets and pads from both rooms, removed the molding and vacuumed the bare floors. They delivered the laminate the same day to allow it to adjust to the temperature of the house. They came back the second day to install the laminate. After getting our input on which direction the planks would be laid, they completed the work professionally, reistalled the molding and replaced the furniture. Before the replaced the furniture they put felt pads on the bottom of all the furniture to make moving the furniture easier. This was not expected and was much appreciated.

The sales and service team were wonderful! We were working with time constraints and they managed to get the job done in less time than we were originally quoted. The 2 men who installed the floor were very nice and professional and we actually missed having them around after the job was completed. We have highly recommended their service to our family and friends.

I found Expert Flooring Solutions on Angieslist this morning, I called and Tom referred me directly to their installer, Gabriel. He came within the hour and fixed the damage done to the carpeting by my pets. He was fast, clean and friendly. The price was right too. Wow, I am impressed. I am so glad I found this company.

I contacted Tom Rossi, the owner, after reading a report on Angie's list for an estimate. Tom came by my house and took measurements. He then gave me a quote for the work to be done and we selected a tile and grout from Steve Clemmer of Emser tile. We agreed on a starting date and the work was promptly started. The work crew, Johnny, Earl and Stu were very efficient and professional, they were prompt and cleaned up the area as they worked. I was always able to get in touch with Tom for any questions when I called him. The end result was an excellent job and I would hire the company again if needed.

It went extremely well! From the moment I received the estimate until they swept the last bit of sawdust; it was a job well done. The instillation involved moving big furniture and appliances (all appliances stove, refer, & washer/dryer) and pulling up the toilets. The addition of new base boards made a remarkable finish to a beautiful floor. I am impressed with their professionalism and craftsmanship and I would use them again without hesitation. Word to the wise: If you live in a condo warn your neighbors ahead of time it can get a bit noisy!

Jeff came to our house to give an estimate. He was on time and professional. The estimate was reasonable. The crew was not able to start work for approximately two weeks as they were busy with other jobs. The crew of two workers showed up on the date and at the time scheduled. The job took an extra half day as the old flooring was glued more securely than anticipated. Jeff and his co-worker were very professional and woked diligently each day except for their short lunch break. They did an excellent job of removing and replacing the hardwood and also removed all of the trash and old flooring. The new floor looks great and one can't see where the new flooring was patched in between two older sections of hardwood. We would highly recommend this company if you need any kind of flooring work done in your home.

We got Tom's name from Angie's List. He come over at the time we requested which was long before the remodeling started. We had an idea of what carpeting we wanted and he gave us samples of the wood. He did not pressure us as far as what we wanted. We freely made our choices,he provided a very fair estimate and we signed the contract. Everything was installed in a timely manner with no problems.

THE INSTALLATION CREW (2) ARRIVED ON TIME, AND COMPLETED THE JOB WITHIN 6 HRS. THEY PICKED-UP ALL OLD CARPET AND PADS, ALONG WITH OTHER EXCESS PIECES. I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THEIR JOB, AND WOULD HAVE NO RELUCTANCE TO USE THEM AND TOM'S COMPANY AGAIN, AND RECOMMEND THEM TO MY FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS.

When we decided we need carpet we went to Angie's List and selected their no one rated company. Tom, the owner of Expert Flooring Solutions, Inc, came promptly to our home to introduce himself and the company, made recommendations and quoted a price. We liked what we heard and saw so made arrangements to go ahead with the project. On the day and time agreed upon the crew was at the door and ready to get to work. The crew was exceptionally skilled, careful, and courteous. We are very pleased with the final project and would have no hesitation in recommending this company to others.

I chose them because they had done my hardwood floors. They were going to repair some of the carpeting by taking carpeting out of one area where they did hardwood and patch another area. There were about 6 spots we thought we could save, and we did in every area except this one bedroom. They were able to get the carpet quickly, match it well and get it installed. The price was good.

Courteous workers arrived on time. Owner, Tom Rossi, called to make sure they were here & said he would normally stop by but was having problems with his back. He called several times to check on the job. The workers were careful & very competent. The installation job was first rate & the grouting also was great! WE would hire this company again for any future carpet/flooring jobs.

I was very pleased with our experience with Expert Flooring. Since it is difficult for me to go across town with my little kids to select tiles, they were willing to bring samples to my house. After I selected a tile, I asked if they would bring a full sized sample in the color I had selected (on each sample sheet there was one large and then small samples of the other colors it comes in) to make sure I liked the color. They promptly brought that to the house. I received several other estimates and Expert Flooring's was far lower. Even after showing the estimate to another company after receiving their estimate, they were unable to match it. The work was scheduled for a week later and it was completed in 2 1/2 days. The installers were great and worked very long hours (12 hours, 13 hours, then 8 hours) to get the job done quickly. We really appreciated this since we were having work done all over our house and it's difficult to live in a construction zone! We are very pleased with the final results and I would definitely recommend this company!

Tom Rossi came to our home and brought samples of laminate, engineered, and solid wood flooring. We discussed the pros and cons of each product. Our choice was the engineered product. After receiving Tom's bid we had bids from 5 other flooring providers, Tom's was the most reasonable of the lot. This along with his up front price, no add ons for appliance moving, toilet remove and install, large furniture moving and replacement, made our choice easy. Jeff, the lead installer arrived a week later to deliver the new flooring, and begin the prep work. Jeff and Ryan moved all the large furniture, and covered all the cabinets and windows prior to beginning the removal of about 350 square feet of tile. This was a very dusty process, but due to their care before starting, cleanup at the end was far easier. Jeff and Ryan worked for the next four days installing the new wood flooring, always ready and willing to address all of our questions and concerns. While we realize that this was another day at work for them,yet they never gave that impression during our interaction with them. These were two hard working young men, pleasant and easy to communicate with. I would have to say you would have to look long and hard to find better craftsmen in the valley. The end result, we have beautiful new floors, and a far better experience than we could have hoped for. Our thanks to Tom, Jeff, and Ryan for a job well done. We will be calling when it's time for carpet in the bedrooms.

I called Tom and told him what I was looking for. He made an appointment with me and showed up on time and had lots of ideas and samples. I had quotes from several other places and his was by far, the best. He also worked with my budget and was very straightforward and honest about all the different choices. On the install day, three workers showed up and got straight to work. They even helped me disassemble some furniture that I had trouble with. They were efficient, clean and friendly. I was extremely happy with the price and the work and would recommend this company to my friends and family. I love my new carpet, it looks amazing.

It was a great experience. They really are experts at what they do, and my floors look beautiful! Before they began, I was instructed on every detail of how the work would be performed, and they made me feel 100% confident that I would be satisfied with the work before it even started. I was quoted the lowest price of three different installers, and this one was by far the most professional and knowledgeable. Once the work began, they showed up on time, knew the scope of work, and left my home everyday looking as put together as it could have been while in the middle of such a large job. It took about 3 days to complete, and before it was finished, I received a phone call from the owner already to make sure I was happy with the direction it was going. In the end, we are very happy with our new floors and will be calling Expert Flooring to do other projects as we progress in our new home.
