I contacted Tom about our pending new home purchase and the desire to get a quote from him on the installation of about 1300 sq. feet of engineered hardwood. He sent out his sales guy, Greg. Greg was a bit rushed and took all the measurements from the model home that we were going to purchase. I was a little apprehensive about the short time Greg spent with me in discussing my project. I was worried that all the details were not conveyed to Greg and felt we might not be on the same page. I called Tom and he assured me that they would get it right. I received the quote and the bid came in far better than RC Wiley's and much better then another Angie's List Flooring Installer. I had read several glowing reviews for Expert Flooring Solutions on Angie's List and I felt very comfortable in my decision to go with them. Let me say this......My floors look Amazing...!!! I could not be happier. Special thanks to Johnny and his install crew. They were the most pleasant, professional and cleanest crew I ever worked with. That's right, I said cleanest. They worked over a period of about 4-5 days and each and every day, they vacuumed and hauled away every bit of trash and dust before they left. I cannot thank Johnny and Matt enough. These guys are true masters of their craft. The attention to detail they exhibited is amazing. They underscored the door jambs so the flooring actually had a cleaner and far more professional look. By doing this, it allowed them to lay the flooring under the door jamb rather then gapping around it. Gapping around the jamb actually looks cheesy because you have to fill in the gaps with something other then your beautiful floor. Trust me, this is a common shortcut for most but not for this crew. The new baseboards they installed look fabulous as well. They even took the time to segregate some of the more unique and visually impactive pieces of flooring and install them strategically across the floor so that they were a focal point in the rooms and entryways. To summarize, Tom and his install crew hit a homerun with this job. Tom even called a few days after the project was over to follow up and see if I was still happy with everything. There is no doubt that when I decide to do ANY flooring upgrade or repair, Expert Flooring Solutions is my choice. Take the worry and stress out of the equation and choose them for your project.

We had Tom come out for an initial estimate during the inspection period of the home we were buying. Tom was very punctual and very thorough when he came out to the house. He spent about 2 hrs with us going over different options of carpet and laminate flooring. After the initial meeting he said we would order us the samples of the carpet that we wanted to see. About 4 days later 5 3'x3' carpet samples showed up at our door. We picked the carpet we wanted for the house and let Tom know. Tom said he would order the carpet once we closed escrow on the house. The day we closed we called Tom and he ordered the carpet and we set the installation date for the laminate and carpet to be installed. He did not ask for a penny up front. We had to push the install date back a couple of days due to another contractor taking a bit longer than anticipated and this was a non-issue with Tom. Both installs came and went without a single problem. Carpet and Laminate in our house are beautiful. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend! Thanks for a hassle free install.

The job estimate was within a reasonable price range for me. I was told the job would take approximately 6 days. The crew began the job on August 1st and would have completed it on August 6th, but the last box of wood to be laid was the wrong color. I was able to move back into the house on the 6th anyway and live very comfortably until a few days later when the correct wood was delivered, at which time the job was completed in a very timely manner. The crew was friendly, but professional and did an outstanding job with which I was extremely happy. I was also VERY happy that their were no surprises: the end cost of the job was the same as the estimate I was given at the beginning. Price for wood flooring was roughly on par with other estimates that I received. I was quoted a "special" price for ceramic tiles because I also wanted to do a large amount of wood flooring. The price for the tiles would have been higher if I did not want them to do the wood flooring portion of the job. However, the "special price" I was given for the ceramic tiles was just a bit higher than what other tile installers quoted me as their "normal" price. The person I worked with was very professional and pleasant to deal with. I did speak to the owner Tom once and he seemed like a very nice person and told me to call him if I had any problems. I ended up going with a different contractor, but I strongly considered this company. I would consider them again in the future.

I was impressed! The tile installers were on time and extremely personable! The work was impeccable, there is no way that you could tell the floor was not covered in hardwood. Earl suggested a layout which he thought would look natural and he was spot on! It is impossible to find a flaw in his workmanship! By mid-afternoon of the first day the old tile and carpeting had been hauled away. They were careful to clean up daily. We had a slight glitch with some broken tile but Tom was extremely considerate and worked around my schedule so that when the tile came in the job could be completed. Stewart and Earl even helped me move in a couple of the heavier furniture pieces when they were finished! I would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to friends of mine who are considering new flooring! It was a pleasure working with individuals who were respectful, responsible, and genuinely cared whether or not I was satisfied with their work. I would highly recommend them!

There is no getting around creating a mess when removing old carpeting and tile. Earl and Stew did their best to keep the mess to a minimum.

I contacted Tom and he was to reply to me with a date to get together. He never called on the date he said he would and I had to call him a few days later to find out what happened. He didn't even remember my name from the previous day! After that I didn't have alot of confidence in him even though Angies list highly recommended his company. Additionally the carpet we were interested in was from a company that he didn't carry but could get from a friends company. I then asked him about getting samples and he told me to get the samples from the other carpet store in LV where we saw the carpet we were interested in and he would beat any price. I didn't think that was a very professional way to do business and decided to buy elsewhere.

When I first asked for a quote Greg Hair came out w/samples and to discuss the project. He provided me an estimate as well as some insight regarding wood selections. Once we made a decision to go with them they scheduled us as quickly as possible and began the job. Greg came to the job on the first day to make sure everyone knew what the scope was. The team that worked on the project was great. They were professional and accommodating considering the amount of other traffic they had to deal with in the house due to other projects. The project was completed in the agreed upon time line and the floors look amazing. I highly recommend them and would use them again in the future.

Tom came to the house explained things to us showed us different samples i had picked a dark color then i had nightmares of this i called Tom and he came over the next day, my husband and i changed rug colors, to our relief it turned out very well we are very pleased with everything and Tom himself a super guy, We hope we can continue our friendship with him ,we enjoyed his company and the way he does his business.

Tom Rossi came out for the estimate with plenty of samples to choose from - as an authorized distributor, he had all the updated choices - which was quite a contrast to some others that came out with a plank or two that seemed like they had left over from another job. Estimate was right in the ballpark with all the others, and based on him, his company and the reviews, I went with Expert Flooring Solutions. His crew was right on time on the first day, and went over their "work order" with me to make sure we were on the same page. The job was expected to last 2 1/2 to 3 days. After day 1, they were more than half way done, and they let me know they would be finished by the next day. They finished as promised - but it was definitely not a "rush" job - they seemed to be experienced professional installers (there were 3 installers). When done, they cleaned everything up, and got all the furniture situated. Tom came back out to inspect everything and make sure I was satisfied. A job very well done!

Very pleased with the entire experience. Very responsive to all phone calls and questions. Came to house with samples of laminate and measured spaces and able to provide estimate at that time. The installers arrived promptly on date I was scheduled and on time. They completed the work in record time, actually coming in a few days early and from the look of the work it was without cutting corners. Very pleased; baseboards removed and replaced above the laminate creating a crisp and clean look cut perfectly to fit all rooms and closets. Beautiful job, even made the total cost a bit less painful. It could not have been done more professionally and efficiently and I love the look. Absolutely would use them again. Worth every penny.

Once the workers arrived, they immediately began moving the appliances and then worked steadily until completion of the project. They left the work area clean.

Tom and his team came highly recommended from Angies list. The men who did the flooring were punctual, friendly, and did a great job finishing our floors and fixing our mistakes. Carpet, tile and flooring were completed in three days on my 1800 sq ft. home.

Background: We moved to Las Vegas, NV from San Diego, CA and we had no idea about good contractors and service providers in the area. We bought a house in a very short order of time and wanted to have Hardwood Floors installed in all of the bedrooms. Angie's List provided lots of information and we narrowed down our choice to Expert Flooring Solutions. I called Expert Flooring Solutions and left a message for Mr. Tom Rossi. I received a prompt email from him that he would be on vacation but that his partner Bill would handle my job. I decided to wait, since I had time, for Mr. Rossi to return from vacation so that I could deal directly with him. Tom's communication was with me was excellent. Upon his return from vacation, he contacted me via email and we set-up a a time to meet and discuss the job. Tom helped me through the process, discussed the options, and provided samples. His matter-of-fact, down to earth approach to his business is refreshing. He understood that I was on a time crunch to have the flooring installed before the moving van arrived. We scheduled the work and the install took place over four days. His crew of installers were superb! Thanks to Johnny and Matt for such a wonderful experience and a PROFESSIONAL INSTALL! Each night, after work, they cleaned up the area, both inside and out, which was truly outstanding since the house is located in an HOA neighborhood! The floors are stunning! From start to finish, Tom was involved in the process and checked on progress to make sure all was going well. I couldn't have asked for a better company to install our hardwood floors!

It was a pleasure from the start!!! We bought a fixer-upper, and had to replace 3,000 sq ft of carpet. Expert Flooring Solutions came HIGHLY recommended by a friend of ours. I called the owner, Tom Rossi (GREAT GUY!) who was out of state at the time, but took all my information down and told me that Bill Jackson, his foreman, would come over to the house the next morning. Bill showed up promptly at 7 am. He took measurements and we went over the samples he brought over. We ordered our carpet that morning and had it installed 3 days later. On the day of the install, Bill arrived at 6:30 am, and we had a cup of coffee while we waited for the installers to get there. When they did, Bill walked them through the whole house and explained what needed to be done. I was pleased with the time he took to explain every little detail to them so that there was absolutely no confusion whatsoever on the scope of the work. Two installers ripped out 3,000 feet of old carpet and replaced it with new carpet and pad in 8 hours. The quality of their work is phenomenal. I forgot to mention that Bill swung by at lunchtime to check on the progress and ensure everything was going as planned. I was very impressed by that. It's great to know that the "Old School" work ethic is still alive; an honest day's work for an honest day's pay, proactive and not reactive. We had such a wonderful experience that we called Tom back 2 weeks later to install some carpet in our rental property. Tom himself showed up and we walked him through the house and explained what we wanted done. He was very intuitive and recommended the best type of quality carpet for a rental property. The carpet arrived 4 days later and was installed immediately. Once again, the quality of work was exceptional. My hats off to Tom Rossi, Bill Jackson, and the rest of the gang at Expert Flooring Solutions. They set the standards for others to emulate. They are my ONLY choice for the future and I recommend them to all of my friends.

Based on the recommendations here, I called Tom Rossi who put me in touch with his sales person Bill Jackson. Tom assured me if that if there were any problems, to let him know and that he would take care of them. Coming from the owner, this was very comforting going forward. Bill was nothing but helpful and professional. He met with us three times at our home to discuss different options and provided highly competitive quotes. His prices beat the competition, but we ended up going with a competitor due to time constraints and their ability to install more quickly. Just as others have done, I highly recommend Expert Flooring.
