I am an out of state property owner, swapping out tenants. The carpet in one of the bedrooms had a hole, from wear, and I wanted to fix it for the new tenant. Tom answered my call, and put me in touch with a trusted collegue, whom he said would be able to help me on short notice. I called Luis, and he was able to cut a patch from a closet, and replace the closet carpet from some left-over scrap from another job. Luis worked late, after another job, and only charged me $50 for his work. I was expecting to pay more, and for him not to be available for a day or two. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. Luis took the job on short notice, worked late, and didn't charge a lot. Not only that, since I live out of state, he trusted me to send him the payment. I couldn't be happier with Tom for putting me in touch with Luis, and am totally blown away by Luis' professionalism and willingness to take the job and work late. If I have any flooring issues in the future, I will definately be calling Tom and Luis!

As a repeat customer, I can attest to the fact the name "EXPERT FLOORING SOLUTIONS" is absolutely the most appropriate name for this company. On Tuesday, March 5, 2013, Jeff and John came out to deliver all the materials for the job. On Wednesday, March 6, a team of four, Jeff, Ryan, John, and Vincent arrived promptly at 9:30 to start the job. After asking where we wanted them to start, that's when the fun began. They moved all the furniture, tore up the old carpet/padding, and proceeded to move heavy bedroom furniture out of the way so the flooring could be installed. All I can say is this 4-man team worked together like a well oiled machine. Knowing it would take 2 days to complete the job, the master bedroom was the first to get done. When all the laminate was installed, the floor was cleaned and the furniture was padded on the bottom so the floor would not get scratched, and everything replaced to our satisfaction. The room looks twice as large, and the laminate is just gorgeous. Jeff went to the store to get some underpadding for the throw rugs, which he paid for with his money and brought back the receipt for reimbursement. Not often you find someone who doesn't ask for the money upfront. Kudos to Jeff!!!!! THANK YOU JEFF, RYAN, JOHN & VINCENT for an excellent job well done. When we had our living room done in mid 2011, Jeff had instructed us on how to keep our floor like new, so we already had the cleaning supplies, which Jeff had bought for us the first time. On Thursday, March 7, the other 2 rooms, a bedroom and an office, it was a repeat performance of the master bedroom. They finished the job at 4:30 pm and everything was perfect. Shawn, one of the owners of the company, came out on Friday to inspect the job, and he was as pleased as we are that everything looked wonderful. Shawn actually started the whole process when he came out to the house with samples, took the measurements, and then proceeded to give us what we believe to be the absolutely best deal possible for 3 rooms of laminate flooring. THANK YOU SHAWN. We give Expert Flooring Solutions 5 stars for their professionalism, awesome employees, and an overall excellent experience in getting our laminate flooring installed.

I am very please with the entire process. Carpet is a bit of an expense and a bit of work to prepare for and not something I want to repeat anytime soon. I priced carpet with several different companies and am please with the price, installation, and quality of the carpet I chose. Tom came to the house, providing samples and offering suggestions for the best carpet types with our dogs. The installers worked their tails off moving furniture, ripping out the old, installing the new, and moving all the furniture back. Tom came out the day of installation to assure all was going well, then came back the next day to assure I was satisfied and to inspect the work. I have recommended them to several others who are in the market for carpet.

It has been a great experience! Sean took his time explianing my options and giving me multiple quotes based on the options I had to consider. Scheduling was easy and timely. Mike and his crew were terrific!!! I cannot say enough about how friendly, professional and terrific to work with Mike and his team were. I just bought the house and was working on my own projects while they were working upstairs, I was in and out of the house- never a worry or problem. Mike is also such a pofectionist - the job took 2 days and even on day 1 he walked me through in what they had done that day - although I have to say I was so wowed with had been done at that point I was already wowed! - showed me the work in detail and told me what to expect the next day. They cleaned up before leaving and all was neat, tidey and clean before they left. The next day was more of the pleasant same. And what a great job! Again Mike gave me a detailed walk of the work, asked if I had any questions (which I didn't because he was so thorough) and made sure everything was clean and perfect before they left. The next time I need floor work done in my home (I have 2 bathrooms to tackle in the future) I will definately use Expert Flooring Solutions again and I will request Mike and his team again. Everyone who has already seen the work or pictures of the work has been really impressed and one of my co-workers has already come back to me and asked for the their name again because they were so wowed with the pictures I've shown them. The only reason that I haven't posted pcitures is because my appointment to have painters come out hasn't arrived yet and I would feel horrible if I posted a picture that has anything that could detract from the great work this team has done.

Overall I am very satisified, and have already recommend Tom to my father who is looking to install new floors.

Owning a rental property in another city can be an unsettling experience--you aren't always around to take care of repairs and upgrades yourself, and, unfortunately, it's all too easy to find yourself taken advantage of by contractors. To find someone who does the job you've paid him or her to do is nice; but to find a contractor who treats your property with the respect and consideration they would treat their own home is INVALUABLE, and this was my experience with Tom and Expert Flooring. Our old house in downtown Vegas had been vacant for over a year, and, as a result--amongst other damage that had been done to the property--all the carpet needed to be replaced, as did the kitchen floor, which had become warped and stained after years of neglect. Tom came out to inspect the property, and, within a half hour, we had worked out a solution that was both appropriate and economical for our needs--knowing this was a rental property, Tom actually recommended a slightly cheaper carpet, but one that would still drastically improve the condition of the house. I signed an invoice to proceed with the job; all I had to do was call Tom back to schedule a date for installation (which had to wait until painting had been completed). His crew arrived on time, were friendly and professional, they finished early and the place looks beautiful--THE WORK THAT EXPERT FLOORING DID MADE A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. They even took care of some little things we hadn't discussed, like re-carpeting the closet floors, at no extra cost. The house looks better, it feels better, and--perhaps most importantly--throughout the experience, I felt that Tom and his crew were looking after my best interests, and the best interests of the property. They didn't just do the job, they went above and beyond to make sure the house was nicer after they left, than it was when they found it, while saving me money, and time (an even more valuable commodity when you're engaged in a restoration). I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience and the outcome, and for any future carpet and floor work, Tom would, without hesitation, be my first call.

First rate experience. I am a thoroughly satisfied customer. I obtained quotes from two companies and even though Expert was not the cheaper of the two, I gave the job to to them. Shawn was a pleasure to deal with and he has many years of practical experience. He was friendly and professional. He is a salesman and he did his job without becoming one of those annoying pushy types. I sensed that this man, and the company he represented, had integrity. I was right as it turned out. The installation crew turned up on time and worked from early am to late pm to complete the big job in one day. They were polite and hard working. They did a excellent job and left the newly carpeted floors freshly vacuumed and looking fabulous. There was one small problem. Inside one closet was an 'oops' where a small (4") cut had been made in error (knife slip perhaps?) and had been repaired. When Shawn examined it he declared it "not good enough" and had the installer return to perform a more professional repair. Shawn visited to re-examine. The second repair was far better than the first, and yet, Shawn still offered me the final decision (accept as it was or order more carpet and re-do the entire closet). His #1 concern was a satisfied customer not the cost of fixing it. When everything goes smoothly with a job, it's not so easy to tell the good companies from the not-so-good. It's harder to see value for money because there are no problems to fix. It's how they handle situations like the one I described above that distinguishes them. In the end, I was pleased I had chosen the more expensive quotation because I'm not confident I would have received the same level of service from any other company. There's a reason Expert has tons of positive reviews on Angie's List. My experience is that they are all well deserved.

Shawn was a great sales person. I was first hesitant even though they had a lot of great reviews because he was late for the quote itself. However, after that, he was super responsive and was able to get me all of the information I requested. At the quote, we went over the type of carpet that we wanted in the house. I had settled on a version of Mohawk Smartstrand that was going to run me around $8100 total. But Shawn told me that his carpet representative (Mohawk) was at a carpet conference in Florida. Apparently there was a brand new line coming out that would have saved me another couple hundred dollars if I was willing to wait a few days. I was in a limited time schedule and he knew about it, so he got me the quote and sample the very next day. After getting the price itself, ($100 less than previously quoted), I agreed and told them that they could remove my old carpet and install asap (they needed at least 10 days for delivery). However, due to the fact that I was also painting the house at the time, I had to remove the carpet before the paint went in, then have it installed. They did that without any issue even though it was hassle for them to split up the removal and the install. They did a beautiful job, and installed it in my limited schedule (had to get all of it done within a 2 week time frame, which was fantastic.

If you're a landlord and have rentals to maintain look no further than Expert Flooring. Tom Rossi did an excellent job and really helped to keep costs down.

The salesman came to the house with large samples, which was something I couldn't get from bigger companies or big box home improvement stores. With the bigger samples I was able to put them against my wall & furniture to better match what I wanted. The 3 young men he sent out for installation were very polite, nice, & they did an outstanding job. They cleaned up after themselves. It was just fabulous - I couldn't have asked for more. It only took two phone calls to put the whole thing together & complete the job. I got great quality carpet at a fantastic price.

I was very satisfied with the work performed. The products installed are beautiful to date. I will update in a year to comment on quality--but so far, everything is wonderful.

In need of new flooring, again, we went to Angie's List for recommendation of the best contractors; and again, found the best! We contacted Expert Flooring Solutions who were given very high praise on Angie's List. We scheduled our appointment with Shawn Glines who came out and assessed the work we needed. He is a true expert in his field and knew right away what we needed to have done. He gave us pricing that stayed within our budget. The crew who came to install was headed up by Mike Machay. They were very steadfast by showing up on time and working very hard while they were here to get the job done correctly. They always let us know what they were doing so there were no "surprises". When the job was completed, they even moved all of our furniture back - very carefully I might add, and left our home very clean where the work had been done. When you call Expert Flooring, be sure to ask for Mike....we highly recommend him and his crew for a job well done!

Called Expert Flooring Solutions, 702.524.4940, on December 12, 2012, and owner Tom Rossi returned my call promptly. An appointment date and time was selected, within the same week, that was suitable for both Mr. Rossi's associate, Shaun, and myself. On December 14, 2012, Shaun arrived promptly with carpet samples and completed the measurements of the area to be carpeted. He made recommendations as to the type of padding and carpet to use for my needs. He also made recommendations concerning the area where carpet and the existing ceramic tile met. Since I had previously removed all the old padding and carpet, I was given a reasonable price for the installation. After making my choices, Shaun completed a written estimate stating all the work to be completed, the price-$2795.00, and how payment was to be received. Once Shaun checked the warehouse for carpet availability, he called to set a date for installation. My first choice of carpet color was not available, but my second choice was available so the carpet color confirmation was completed over the phone. The installation date was set for December 28, 2012. Shaun and the installation crew arrived promptly. Once Shaun ensured that all supplies and crew members were present, the work began. During the installation, one of the crew members suggested the other alternative to the area where the carpet and the existing ceramic tile met. I decided to go with his recommendation, and the outcome was perfect. The installation was completed in approximately 8 hours. I paid the crew leader with a personal check, and Shaun called later to ensure that I was satisfied with the work. Expert Flooring Solutions did an excellent job and used good materials. I would definitely refer their business to anyone looking for carpet installation.

the estimator arrived a little early, presented us with all his samples of the hardwood flooring he had and we took our time to choose which ones we were intereste in and wanted a quote. he gave us a quote and then above and beyond, he gave us a distributor to go and look at other samples if we wanted. we could not have been more pleased. we will use and recommend this company to any and all who need work.

When I decided I wanted a new vinyl floor installed in the kitchen before Christmas, I began calling some of the vendors on this website. Tom was the only one who made a special effort to come by, measure and provide samples. In fact, he was here the same day I called. He's a pro and that was obvious within a few minutes of meeting him. He's also very personable and made me feel at ease with the project. This business is all about customer service and quality work. The work was performed within a week from ordering the vinyl. I was very pleased with the outcome, the crew who installed it, and Tom's expertise and responsiveness. I wouldn't go anywhere else for flooring. Thanks Again, Tom!

The installer was very good. It took him 6 hours to finish the job and the quality is great.

I HAD AN APPOINTMENT WITH SHAWN. HE WAS GOING TO BE A LITTLE LATE BUT CALLED BEFORE AS OPPOSED TO CALLING AFTER THE TIME OF THE APPOINTMENT. HE SPENT QUITE A BIT OF TIME AND NEVER RUSHED THE APPOINTMENT. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEGABLE, PATIENT, AND POLITE. EARL AND STEWART DID THE WORK AND WERE ON TIME EVERY DAY. THE WORK WAS DONE WITHIN THE TIME PROMISED. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND I'M EXTREMELY PLEASED AND HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS. EARL AND STEWART EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THEY WERE DOING AND WHAT I SHOULD EXPECT. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL BUT FRIENDLY AS WELL. EVEN THOUGH WE TALKED QUITE A BIT THEY CONTINUED TO WORK. THEY ARE PERFECTIONISTS AND THEIR WORK SHOWS IT. THEY WORKED AS CLEAN AS POSSIBLE AND CLEANED UP AFTER THE WORK WAS DONE. I CANNOT PRAISE THEM ENOUGH AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE. I WOULD ONLY CONSIDER THIS COMPANY SHOULD I HAVE ANY TYPE OF FLOORING JOB IN THE FUTURE.

Mike Rossi arrived and spent lots of time explaining what would be done, and what I would have to do to have my home re-carpeted.He appeared quite experienced and showed me carpet samples. He also followed up with sending me more samples. I plan to have the work done when the snow is gone.

For us, as out-of-state landlords, projects like replacing all of the carpeting in our Las Vegas rental can be an expensive ordeal. Finding contractors we trust is difficult at best. For the contractors, too, it's more difficult as they have two parties to deal with: the landlord and the tenant. Our tenants had gotten bids from two contractors and both were way beyond our budget. After reading the reviews on Angies List, I asked them to get a bid from Expert Flooring. They found carpet they really liked and the bid was $1000 less than the other bids. They also were impressed with their professionalism. After approving the installation, I received a call that the chosen carpet was on backorder. We had a choice of delaying the installation, or selecting a different pattern of carpet; a choice which I passed along to our tenants. The sales person suggested a similar pattern which they liked just as well, and would not delay the installation. Mid-day on installation day, my tenant emailed a photo of the newly carpeted stairs, with an excited comment that the installation was nearly complete. I spoke with the tenants when the job was completed. They were thrilled with the new carpet and had nothing but good things to say about Expert Flooring. The installers were on time, professional, did high-quality work, and even finished the job sooner than expected. When I received the bill, I sent a check for payment right away. The next day, however, the bank notified me that the line of credit against which I'd written the check was to be closed within a few days due to a refinance that was in the works. I had been unaware that the account would be closed and there was a good chance that the check would not clear before the account was closed. I called Expert Flooring and spoke with the owner, Tom. When I told him the situation, he was very understanding and accomodating, saying he would instruct accounting to void the check as soon as it arrived, and mail it back to me. I mailed a second replacement check immediately, and within a few days had received the first check back, voided and returned as Tom had promised. I appreciate the sevice that Expert Flooring provided and feel they really went the extra mile to make sure we and our tenants were satisfied customers.

Bottom line = it went well. A few weeks after the job, Las Vegas had heavy rains and the carpet started to buckle. It got worse day by day. We called Expert Flooring. They came out, examined it, and did a next day re-stretching of the carpet ? without charge and without hassle. That's fabulous customer service!

The over all experience was the best I ever had with any contractor in this city. The installers were with out question the best I have ever seen. They took extra time to make sure every thing was very well done. My entertainment center had to be moved and it was put back better then it was originally.

Making the choice to work with Expert Flooring Solutions, Inc. for the replacement of our laminate wood flooring was the right decision! A water leak ruined our existing floor and dealing with Expert was the one stress-free portion of this whole ordeal. To select a product we got a relaxed meeting in our home, at our convenience, with tons of samples. Shawn was knowledgeable about his products and very patient with our back and forth over styles and happy to answer our many questions. Our meeting with him gave us every confidence we would receive a quality install. The installation itself happened quickly once we made our decision. The new laminate flooring was delivered to our home to "acclimate" once it arrived. Over the following 2 days Jeff and his install team worked hard. They were professional and personable and obviously knowledgeable about their job. Jeff even came back on Saturday morning to finish up and make sure everything was right! We are so thankful to have our home back and to enjoy our gorgeous new laminate floors! Working with Expert was a wonderful experience. Thank you! We are very pleased with a job well done!

Tom was very responsive and helpful from the beginning. He was able to come over to my house and bring several samples and options for me to choose from as well as provide his expert opinion from his years of experience in the carpet business. He was efficient and professional, but best of all very personable and helpful. As part of our home remodel, my husband and I were choosing new paint and baseboards; Tom's service was extremely helpful as he sent over five large carpet samples for each type of carpet we chose. It was a huge advantage to see the large samples in the rooms they were going in, as the light can be different in each room. It made our carpet color choice that much easier. Installation was smooth and professional. We were not present at the time but the installers went in and did a fantastic job. We were able to come home after work to find beautiful carpets and best of all they did not damage any of our freshly painted walls or baseboards. They were very respectful of our home. I highly recommend Tom and will have him come back to carpet the remaining rooms in our house.

As an out-of-area owner I relied on the Angie's List reviews to help me select an appropriate company to deal with for this flooring job as I would have to conduct the product selection and scheduling remotely. I dealt with Shawn and explained what I was looking for and he made the measurements, gave me a quote, sent me me samples of his recommendations which I approved. They were exactly the color/texture/quality I was looking for. He was very responsive and answered all my questions. I did not give a price rating because I did not price shop the job as I had read on other Angie's reviews that they were fair. I requested a specific install date that I could be present to inspect which was very tight as far as schedule and they were initially unable to meet but said they would try. An opening was available for my requested date and they did the install on my original requested date, though I had already delayed my schedule by a week so I wasn't there when they installed. When I did arrive to inspect the install a week later the CARPET part of the install was FAR below my satisfaction. 1)The metal transition strip between the carpet and vinyl at the entry to the master bath was not attached properly and was actually lifting up. 2)The carpet at the doorway to two of the three bedrooms was not attached properly to the tack strip and lifted easily 3)The points of the tack strips at two of the closet openings and at one of the doorways were exposed and would have drawn blood if walked upon. The VINYL install was excellent. My handyman had removed the toilets and baseboards so that the vinyl was installed underneath. The installers did a fine job with no visible projection of the underlying flooring, and it appears that the adhesion at the edges next to the tubs and vanity cabinets was good. The caulking job was also good. Shawn came to the site to see my concerns. He called the installers back in and they fixed the job. I saw no good reason for the problems. The use of proper length fasteners and proper stretching over the tack strips, along with attention to knocking down the exposed points would have made this a very satisfactory install and my overall grade would have reflected that. Except for price, the only differences among flooring companies is their service level and most importantly their installation quality. There was another problem report by my handyman that is not appearing in this review because I did not witness it myself and my rating dismisses that report. If I had witnessed what my handyman reported the overall grade would have been lower..
