Description of Work: Sean came to my home to talk with me about what type of carpeting I wanted, and brought samples with him. He was very knowledgeable about types of carpet, performance, pricing, and warranties. He listened and helped me to make the best decision. His prices are very competitive. The carpet was ordered and scheduled for installation quickly. His installers, Nacho and Erick, were extremely polite and professional. They moved all of my furniture and put it back free of charge and handled it carefully. They removed the old carpet and padding, and installed new padding and carpeting, and did a beautiful job. Overall, I'm very pleased with the job.

+ 1 moreEverything went great!! We previously had a quote from Lowes and wanted a second quote. Shawn came over with different samples. We were going to buy a Pergo Max at Lowes, but Shawn explained that Mohawk's locking mechanisms were better than Pergo. Lowes carries Mohawk also, Shawn just wanted us to get the best product even if we don't buy from Expert Flooring. Lowes would not guarantee there install unless they did the floor boards. Expert Flooring guaranteed their install regardless of the floorboard. They stand by their work!! I must say they did an excellent job!

+ 1 moreRight from the beginning everything was excellent. Called and spoke with Tom the owner, who said Shawn would call in two days, Shawn called and set up an appointment. He was on time very helpful and informative, we did not make a decision at that time. We asked Shawn to return during the day so we could see the samples in the light at which point we decided to have them perform the work. The hardwood was delivered on decided and the work was performed three days later. Jeff and his crew were unbelievable - very professional, friendly, and answered all our questions. The floor looks beautiful. When they left their was no indication any work was done, just a beautifully installed hardwood floor. Shawn returned two days later to make sure we were happy and to receive payment for the completed work. If you need a hardwood floor Expert Flooring Solutions is your best option.

+ 0 moreOur initial call was made on a Thursday and I spoke with Tom, the owner. He said Shawn would call Saturday to make an appointment. Shawn called Saturday as promised and came out the following Tuesday evening. Shawn is just great he spent about 90 minutes with us showing samples, discussing installation, etc. the price quoted seemed reasonable. We did not commit at the time because we had another estimate. We called Shawn later in the week and sakes if he could comeback during the day with the samples. On his return we signed a contract. Shawn set up a delivery day and installation day and time. No deposit was required because we used Angi's list. Ryan and Jeff delivered the hardwood and discussed the installation and answered questions. Jeff the primary installer is amazing, everything went smoothly and he was very accomodating. Expert flooring solutions is the place for harwood floors look no further.
Description of Work: Removed and disposed of carpet in family room. Installed hardwood floor. Removed and replaced all furniture. Made sure all baseboard matched and replaced.

Shawn was great to work with and they were great when an unexpected issue with our subfloor was found. Bottom line is that they chopped $1000 off the best price we received for the same carpet from the big box stores and installation was professional and top-notch. Highly recommended!

+ 0 moreI called Tom for carpet restretching and repair. Tom was very helpful and put me in touch with one of his associates Luis. Luis came over at my convenience the night prior to performing the work and gave a very competitive price to restretch and repair my carpet. Louis showed up the next day with a couple of assistants and completed the job in an hour. The room and hallway looked perfect. I had expected to pay much more than Luis charged and gave him extra due to his impeccable service. I highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: I recently had to cut and pull back carpet in in order to build a wall that made my loft into an additional room. I had cut the hall way strip of carpet that was outside of the converted room to narrow. I needed to have the strip repaired and stretched as well as the carpet within the room restretched.

+ 0 moreI found Expert Flooring on Angie's List and called them because of their great reviews. I spoke with Tom who was very personable and he said Sean would be calling to set up an appointment . Sean called the next day and asked if I had an idea of what we would like. I had a general idea of what I wanted, and he came at our appointed time promptly with carpet samples. He carefully measured and I picked out a sample that I liked. Sean is very professional and was very helpful in the choice of padding and carpet. I also thought the price he quoted me was very reasonable. He is also very personable. The carpet arrived in about two weeks and the crew came to install the new carpet. They were prompt and very professional. I must mention that they were very careful when moving our furniture for the installation. I really appreciated that. They did a wonderful job and my husband and I are both thrilled with our new carpet and the expert job that they did! Also,, we paid what Sean quoted and not a penny more! We both highly recommend this company for any flooring issues you might have! Thank you for the beautiful new carpet!

+ 0 moreI had Tom install carpeting in another home and his team was wonderful. So recently I asked Tom to come out to my own home and see about installing tile throughout my downstairs level. Tom had his crew come out and install the tile. They did an awesome job. I had purchased the grout (probably should have let Tom's crew buy the grout) - nonetheless, the grout, although the same name/brand was off in color - we couldn't determine this till the grout was dry. Tom had his guys come out and make it the same color all through the whole downstairs. I love that Tom and his crew work to make things right. He is a great guy to work with and he and his crews take great pride in getting things right. It shows in the work they do. (I would like to mention that while doing a community project for a non-profit organization we found major problems with the flooring. I talked to Tom and he came out and told us what needed to be done and how to do it and his expertise was invaluable!!!)

They upgraded our old baseboards and paint(no additional cost to us) after the fact for a better finished product. They consulted with us on decisions and gave options to problems that arose. They required ZERO dollars up front before the project started (unheard of in this town). They gave us the flooring we wanted for our home.

+ 0 moreAfter reviewing Expert Flooring Solution's reviews on Angies List, I e-mailed and immediately Tom Rossi was calling. I needed to look no further. Tom came to my 41 year old mobile home (my Tajmahal) and we discused my options. With his experitise and experience in the flooring business, it was easy to pick the flooring best suited to me and my two dogs. His two man crew arrived on time and got to work moving furniture, etc. They were both very professional and informative. When they were done, everything was back in place as if it had never been moved. Silk purse from sow's ear? Definetely! When Tom came to inspect the results he commented that "it looks like a new house" and it does. Thanks so much Expert Flooring. You really are just that.
Description of Work: All applicable moulding was removed, old carpet and vinyl removed, surface prepared as need for smoothness. New carpet & vinyl installed, moulding cleaned and replaced with new where needed, caulked and painted.

A company that does what it says in the the time it says it will be done. Rare in Las Vegas. And he did not have to, plenty of larger jobs but help is what they do. Description of Work: I moved to Las Vegas in December and had to replace all of the flooring in the home I purchased. I did research on Angie's List and found Expert Flooring Solutions, Inc. I made a phone call and talked to Tom. He set up an appointment for me with Shawn. He was punctual and very professional. I explained to Shawn that I wanted the same product In my kitchen and bathrooms that I had in my home in Illinois and he immediately found the product. With his help, I chose carpeting and flooring for my other rooms. My flooring arrived before I was ready for installation and Tom and Shawn patiently worked with me. The installers for both the carpeting and the Metroflor were terrific.

+ 0 moreTom came to my home, discussed the job that needed to be done. He was on time and was extremely professional and friendly. He did his own measurements and explained the process of ordering the carpet, how long it would take and set up a time that fit my timeline not his. He gave me a price not just an estimate. He set up a time for me to call two days before the installation so that I would know when to expect the workmen and what they would do. Taking out the old carpet and pad, replacing it with my new carpet and pad. They took the old carpet away not leaving it on my driveway or garage to get rid of my self as did happen when I used a so called cheaper company for my hard would floors. (That was a very expensive disaster using unlicensed workers...cheap but terrible job.) Tom Rossi had his men come exactly as planned moved all my furniture, installed the carpet beautifully, and returned all my furniture to my exact specifications. They were great, polite, and professional. The price was exactly as quoted and the job was done perfectly. Tom made sure that I was satisfied. Thank You Tom Rossi of Expert Flooring Solutions and Angie's list.
Description of Work: Tom Rossi with Expert Flooring Solutions was fabulous. He was professional, did not pressure. He answered all my questions carefully really listening to what I wanted and needed. Price and quality of goods and service were great. It is so crucial to use licensed contractors. Every time I have not gone with some one who is licensed, I seem to spend time repairing the problems or paying someone else to so the same job over. It is important for Angie"s List to start only recommending Licensed professionals. If not your service becomes less effective. I have used Angie"s List and hope to continue. But when I have used unlicensed people from Angie's List I seem to get burned. Tom is Licensed and was great. NO problems or complaints. Thank you Tom.

+ -1 moreOverall they did an excellent job on my three bedrooms, five closets, hallway and living room. I was very pleased with the finished product and with the time it took to complete the job. Overall there was minimal inconvenience for me. They completed the master bedroom and closet per my request first and then went on to the living room and hallway. The next day, Friday, they completed the other two rooms and closets.
Description of Work: Because of an accident in my guest bathroom, my entire condo of laminate flooring had to be replaced!! In 2011 Expert Flooring Solutions installed laminate flooring in my master bedroom, hallway, and living room. Then in 2012 I had the owner, Tom Rossi, return to install laminate flooring in my other two bedrooms. Now in 2013 because I forgot and left the bathroom sink running, all of that laminate flooring had to be replaced!!! The whole house needed to be replaced. I called Tom Rossi and asked him to do the job again because I was so satified with the work he had done before. Tom's crew came in on the 14th of March and got right to work. I had received an estimate that it would take Thursday, Friday, Saturday and maybe Monday (if necessary) to finish the work. It did not take that long, in fact they were finished by Friday evening. I was amazed and happy with the job they did. I would hire them again if necessary and I referred a friend who was happy with the job they did. Tom Rossi is a great professional and has an excellent group of workers who are hardworking, courteous, professional and dedicated. You can't go wrong hiring Expert Flooring Solutions, Inc. for your flooring needs. I was completely satisfied with the work they did to my three bedrooms, five closets, hallway and living room.

+ 0 moreYesterday two young men came around 9:15, and worked steadily to remove all of the old carpet, after removing all of the furniture. When everything was complete, they did a fantastic job of cleaning up, getting all the furniture back in place, moving anything we wanted them to, and made sure everything was to our liking before they left around 3:15. We thought the service was excellent, and everything was businesslike as well as friendly. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family for their flooring needs. I would also use them again.
Description of Work: We had old carpeting removed, and new carpeting installed throughout the house. Shawn came two weeks ago with samples and gave us a price on what we chose. We thought the price reasonable, for carpeting, installation and labor.
