I spoke with Owner at 9:30 am. He said he would be over in around 45 min. 2 hours later, I received a call explaining he had emergency and forgot to call me. OK, it happens... rescheduled for after 3:00 that same day. At 4:45 no show, no call AGAIN. I just cancelled with him

We had recently moved into a new home with a clean slate for a backyard. After meeting with several potential pool contractors, we felt we immediately connected with Eric. He had great, creative ideas for how we could best use the space and was very honest and straightforward about his approach. In addition, his estimate ended up being very competitive and less than most of the other contractors we had found. It was a no brainer. Eric even recommended a wonderful landscape designer for us that filled out the design of our backyard and worked in tandem with Eric and his team to bring the whole backyard together. It's now a year later and we love our pool and backyard! Eric has been accessible throughout the year with any pool maintenance questions I have had and even came out recently to help me prep the pool and filters for the upcoming swim season. I have recommended him to several of our neighbors. We couldn't be happier with our choice in Everclear Pools.

We did a ton of research, and had several bids, we decided to go with Everclear pools and thank god we did. Eric and his crew are fast, clean, and most important do quality work. Eric changed my design a little bit, under my protest, and I am glad that I gave in because the design, shape and the layout of our pool are perfect and we couldn't be happier. We got a beautiful pool that was eight feet longer, and within our price range, compared to other bids. We got an upgraded color for our plaster to Tahoe blue, added over 200 feet of pool decking, and had a 40 foot long five foot high cinder block wall knocked down and hauled away for about $3,000, than the biggest pool company in town gave for just the pool. We love our pool and recommend Everclear to anyone who is looking for a great pool with great customer care. The Wedmore's.

I requested a quote and design for a pool in my backyard. After coming to look at the property, I never received a quote or a design proposal.

Eric was referred to us by a friend. Best referral ever. He built my pool in 2010 and the pool is amazing and his price was far below all other builders. Eric listened attentively to my wife's needs and ideas concerning design and construction of the pool before and during construction. All of the sub-contractors and their crews were responsible, hard-working, and meticulous during the construction of the pool. All of the issues and concerns we had were taken seriously and addressed in a timely manner. Great things happen when you work openly and honestly together. I'm retired military, and Eric understood my standards and expectations are high concerning the construction and deliverance of a quality product; he never waivered and never let me down! He personally taught me how to take care of the pool and keep the water clear and balanced using the appropriate additives. He answered all my questions and said to call if I had more. We never demanded Eric do anything when we wanted it done, just because were paying for it. In other words, be flexible and let the chips fall in place. They will! Eric is a very good communicator and was always a str8 shooter with us. When you have several jobs taking place at once, tasks are being coordinated and prioritized. He did a great job communicating when and what will take place every step of the way! There were short delays but that will happen. The final product delivered is a beautiful pool my family and friends will enjoy for a long time. He was extremely rude.

II purchased a home that was built in 1980. Although the seller had re-plastered the pool, all of the other pool features were in need of updating. I had several contractors come out and estimate this job. Eric Guinn's price was a bit higher, however the knowledge that he demonstrated and his professionalism convinced me that he was the person that I needed for this job. Throughout the entire process, he kept me informed and showed up when he was supposed to. The workers that he had on my job were friendly and also professional. I originally did not plan to re-tile the entire pool area, but I opted to spend the extra dollars to do all of the tile (with no pressure from Eric). The job was completed in a timely fashion and is beautiful. Do's: There are many companies out there professing to be experts. Take your time and find someone you have trust and faith in. Don't: You are the homeowner and are responsible for investigating the necessity for permits, following codes, etc. Don't rely on someone else telling you what is or is not required.

Never got to first base……a bid.

Eric came recommended from a highly rated landscaping contractor on Angie's List. He exceeded the positive recommendations. After initial contact, we were promptly given a bid to compare with a prior bid from our original pool contractor. Turns out his bid was cheaper and we weren't about to send any more business to our original pool builder. Our project concerned a lighting addition to a pool that was only 6 months old. The work started promptly and was finished better than expected. Eric was very open with his communication about the project and extremely well versed on the process and pitfalls associated with pool building. The new light looks like it was original to the pool even though he had expressed a concern that the plaster patch might be noticeable. The entire pool now glows at night and looks amazing. We are extremely glad that we used Eric to tackle this project for us... wish we would have used him on the original pool build.

I called to schedule an appointment for a quote to install an auto fill on my existing swimming pool. The gentleman I spoke to said it would be expensive but couldn't tell me what that meant without seeing my pool. He said he was in a back yard and asked me to call back and leave the contact information on his voicemail and he would contact me about meeting within the next few days. That was a week ago and I have not heard from him. Unfortunately, I have found this to be typical treatment from pool companies. UPDATE: Yesterday I received a call from the person I had talked to previously. He explained that he had a family emergency which required him to leave town suddenly. He apologized for not contacting me sooner and asked if I still needed his assistance. Fortunately I was no longer in need of his service.

When my wife and I decided to have a pool put in we met with 4 different builders. None of those builders were as up front and honest as Eric at A-A Everclear. He explained everything to us thoroughly, he explained the pricing break down to us and there were no unexpected or hidden costs along the way. The reason we chose A-A Everclear over the others was because of the honesty, integrity, and care for his craft that Eric displayed. When it came time to start construction, our experience with A-A Everclear was contradictory to all the horrors stories I had heard about in this town: they started when they said, built what was promised, and finished within a few days of when he said they would finish. Above all of that Eric made sure I understood everything about my pool before he left when it was up and running. Even though it has been a few years I can still call on Eric to answer my questions on parts and recommend other qualified contractors for various pool repairs. I have recommended A-A Everclear to several co-workers and this will be the only pool company I will use in the future. A-A Everclear is one of those few companies out there that still cares about its reputation and its customers. First class operation all the way!

They were outstanding. The pool has been fabulous. He was knowledgeable and knows his subject well. He has done a lot of pools in this area. He was excellent in terms of design and problem-solving and he was excellent in terms of knowing what equipment to use to deal with what requirements. He was just really good. I did a little comparison shopping and his price was really good.
