Overall, it was a very frustrating experience. I'm pretty much in the same boat I was prior to this visit. with the exception of I do have one sink cleaned out and minus some surface hair. I'm glad I asked him to check the pea traps.
Description of Work: Please read their description of what they do. Somehow I missed that they are not an actual plumbing company. I'm still a bit fuzzy on what they do. I just purchased a condo and I'm having issues with the sink in one bathroom and shower/tub combo, they are very slow draining plus the tub spout isn't putting out water right, and it drips a bit. In the master bath, it is a slow drain in the tub and I had one sink in there that was a slow drain as well. The tech asked me what the issues were and I told him. We went to the master bath first. He said the tub looked fine and that when he removed the stopper top he said the bolt was in there tight. I asked him if he wanted me to bring him a screw driver, He said nope I have my own tools (OK so I'm puzzled why he didn't bring them in with him). He said it looked pretty clean to him, and he moved on not removing the bolt. I explained that a friend and I had cleaned around it as much as we could but it was still draining very slow. That was basically ignored. He moved on to the shower and took off the drain cover, which was disgusting, and removed a bit of hair from the cover. I asked if that was mold all over that cover, and he said probably and he put it back on. He flushed the commode, and that seemed to work fine. I haven't had an issue with it. Then he checked the 2 sinks in there. He said one was fine, and one was draining slow, which I knew already. On the slow side he took a little hair out of it, and it still drained slow. I asked him if he couldn't check the pea traps, and he said OK. When he removed the trap on the slow side, it was massively corroded with hair and gunk. He is now done with the Master. We go into the guest bath. Both the sink and the tub were slow drains, and they still are. It was a basic repeat of the other bathroom, except the sink still is a slow drain. He was going to leave at this point, and I asked him if he could at least snake the tub in there. He said OK. I asked him a few questions about the snake and he said it didn't matter how long it was it was only going about 6 feet.. from tub to the commode next to it. He said there weren't any clogs in it, and the tub was still a slow drain as was the sink. He kept repeating we are not plumbers, people make that mistake.. we don't change out parts, but I know how. That's why we're so cheap. His recommendation on the slow tub drains were for me to remove the stoppers (which I have had in every home I have ever owned ,without problems) and use those rubber stoppers. My kitchen is being remodeled so he couldn't check a sink there, he did however pour some water down the pipe and put on a piece that had been removed. I don't know if we just had a total miscommunication, or he was just so preoccupied with John working his 6th day and wanting John sent home. Whatever it was, after he left, I just shook my head and wondered what that was all about. I wasn't impressed with this individual, but on this questionnaire it doesn't give the option to say no I don't want that pareticular person out again as he is representing the company, But I don't know if the company itself is run like this or not, and I probably would try them again if I knew for sure it was a clog only and not a plumbing issue. Actually I'm still not sure if it is just a clog or not as the bolts in the tub drains were never removed...
