Description of Work: Tune up Heating Unit

Description of Work: i called a company, ELITE plumbing and heating for a check up on my air conditioner for before the season starts. my air was working fine. he went onto the roof, stayed about 6 minutes, came out to his truck to show me a part that was bad, showed some pictures of oil leaking and cracks, told us it needed free on and wwould be about a thousand dollars to fix it. fortuneately, he had paper work with him with prices for a new unit... we said we would get back to him, and called a company named doctor cool. he spent 15 minutes on our roof, came in to tell us that for its age, it was the best unit he had ever seen. it did NOT need free on, there were NO leaks, and he said it was really clean. he said he could tell that we change the filters, and we also had had all the ductwork cleaned two years ago. he said he would have LIKED to sell us a new unit, but the one we had was just fine. when i called the first company, the man offered to come over and show me the oictures, or take me up on the roof and show me the problem. i told him i wanted my money back and he hemmed and hawed and went on and on. when i told him i would just call the contractors board, he said he would call me back. some one ELSE called me back and said they would tear up my check. i think they thought since we are old that they could intimidate us. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
