Despicable, unprofessional, untrained, slow and overpriced. 1st packer packed 5 boxes in 4.5 hours. These were not large boxes and upon speaking to Philip the owner we were informed the packing takes longer because of double wrapping of dishware. He also claimed his packers should average 5 boxes per hour and so double wrapping in my estimation would be 2.5 boxes per hour and not 1. Two additional packers arrived a few hours late and the process did speed up. However, Discount Movers web site promises expert packing of antiques and electronics. As it turns out upon opening a few boxes after the fact, the Packers placed a monitor in a large box with no protective wrapping as well as a printer laying on its side with no protection. Another box had a brass lamp with a crystal shade that was placed on the bottom of a box with no protection. Another box had canvas paintings stacked with no protection in a box. We have not yet unpacked any other boxes. At $40 per hour per person, you would expect professional service as the company advertises. I phoned Philip the owner but he did not return the call and I then sent him an email outlining my complaint and suggested he provide a 25% discount but he did not respond to that request either. I could have found day laborers at $15 hour who would have performed better than the "experts" at Discount Movers.
