I was very pleased with Joe's timely help, his extensive knowledge and expertise, and the personal attention he provided.
Description of Work: While working on my Toshiba laptop computer, my mouse fell off the table and hit the floor. The impact sent a spurious electrical shock into the computer through the USB port and completely "fried" my computer. Everything froze. I wasn't able to turn the computer on or off, and even the "CTRL-ALT-DEL" reset function didn't work. I took the computer to Discount Computers, where the owner, Joe Goor, was able to restore it back to normal. He was even able to restore my files and programs. On his own initiative, Joe ran a "malware" test on the computer, and discovered several "Trojan Horses." He kindly installed several anti-virus programs on my computer (without charge) which included "CCleaner," "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware" program, and "SuperAntiSpyware." Despite his busy schedule, Joe did all this in one day. I returned to Discount Computers just before closing time, but Joe took the time (after closing) to explain what he had done and how to use the new malware programs that he installed. I was so impressed with Joe's expertise and the fact that he installed the spyware programs without charge that I asked him if he were a member of Angie's List. If so, I wanted to write a comment for him. Joe said that he was not a member, so I asked him if I could recommend him to the List, which I'm doing now.
