I I called them in April they said they'd be out in June I called them at the end of June they said they'd be out in October they are completely Fly by Night I recommend never letting them near your house totally unreliable

Description of Work: I believe the company is out of business. I gave the owner a $200.00 check last October to order new filters for our osmosis system. He cancelled several appointments to install the filters. I left over 20 phone messages on his voice mail, never receiving a return call. I had the system removed and installed a different system with another provider. I would recommend everyone avoid this company. They are probably out of business, very unprofessional.

I originally purchased a Pure-O-Flow whole house water filtration system from Diamond Water in 2007. My initial experiences with them were generally good and the system produces excellent water. Since then the company has changed hands. I called the company in October of 2010 regarding a slow leak that was identified in a slip joint. I spoke with the new owner on the phone and he asked if I also needed replacement filters. I said it was probably time so he could plan on that as well. When he came out, he made a slight adjustment to the slip joint and pronounced it fixed. He then explained that my warranty, which was supposed to cover filters for 10 years, no longer covered the cost of the filters and he quoted the filter replacement cost. I decided not to dispute the cost issue and asked him to go ahead and change the filters. Then he told me he just used his last filters and couldn't do it right then. It took several more calls, no show appointments and even coming by again without any filters before he finally replaced them on November 9th. Meanwhile, the leak was still happening and each time he came by he made an adjustment and declared it fixed (and it never was). Finally he came out and replaced the slip joint in mid November, about a week after the filters were replaced. During this visit I mentioned that the tank had been filling much more slowly since he replaced the filters. He said the only way he could adjust the flow rate was to add a flow meter and that I should have had one. He said he would talk with one of his guys and get the flow meter installed the next week. I didn't hear from them for several weeks and I was out on vacation for 10 days so I didn't follow up during that time. Then on December 21st I got a notice from the water district asking me to check for a leak since my water usage had increased 12 fold (my water bill for the month was as much as I normally spend in 2 years on water). I checked the valve box and noticed that I could hear a rush of water running through the line that drains the dirty water from the filtration system. I called Diamond Water and told them what the problem was. He came out to take a look and said there was nothing he could do without a flow meter! He said he would definitely get one installed by the end of the week. The week went by with no action and meanwhile I had to bypass the system. Finally on Sunday January 2nd he called and said they would be in the area and would come out to add the flow meter between 2 and 4 pm. I got a call at 5pm saying they'd be there in 5 minutes. They did the work quickly and took off. Later that night I checked on the tank and noticed that there was a leak from the flow meter. I called him back the next morning and it took until 6pm to get someone out again. He replaced the flow meter. I asked if there was any way they could validate the flow rate and ensure that I won't waste another 17,000 gallons of water. He said not without a meter (which I thought this was, but apparently it was just the valve), but to trust him because he does this all the time and he just "knows". To sum up, these guys do the least amount possible every time and only with dilligent follow up from the customer will they do the work, little by little. As far as I know, they are the only company in town that services this particular system, so unless I want to scrap my entire investment, I'm stuck with them. Do NOT buy this system!!!!

We purchased a whole house water system in June of 2007. The system caused our water bill to increase due to the technology. Overall we have been pleased with the quality of water in the system. In the last few months the system has been unable to keep up with demand and out water usage has gone up significantly. We called Diamond and they came out next day to check. The original pre filter had not been replaced and was quite clogged after over trwo years. They do recommend this filter be repalced annually. The technician replaced the pre filter and checked flow which seemed improved. I then decided to also replace the other two membrane filters so all the filters would be new. I was not pressured by the technician to do this. We will check our usage over the next few months to see if the water bill declines.

This company is the biggest rip-off I have ever encountered. We were told the water bill MAY double, but it has tripled. The system is constantly running, and the hoses bang on the wall. We were never told that maintenance on the filters should be every six months at a cost of around 1,000.00 (but that is with labor). The waste ratio on this system is 5 to 1, not good in this area. Also, we have found out that the system was originally set up for commercial use, not residential. I would not recommend this system for the average family in these financially hard times.
Description of Work: We had this system installed a year and a half ago and had to have the service rep out several times as the noise level of the motor was unbearable as well as constantly running.

The install was scheduled within a week of signing the agreement. The technicians were excellent. Despite the element of surprise (the sales rep neglected to tell them they would have to install a loop in my water pipes), they got the necessary resources together and quickly completed the job. The agreement includes 10 years parts and labor for free and they've responded promptly whenever I've had to call them, sometimes helping me on the spot over the phone with simple questions. Recently I noticed my tank was filling very slowly. They sent a tech out within 1 day and he identified and replaced a clogged filter - no charge (although there may be charges if the issue found is affecting but not caused by the system).
Description of Work: Diamond Water installed the Pure-O-Flow whole house reverse osmosis system. The difference in my water quality is undeniable. Dishes come out of the dishwasher without spots. The shower stays cleaner longer and my skin feels better after showering (without that "can't rinse the soap off" feeling you get with a normal salt-based water softener). The drinking water is excellent as well.

Sales team arrived on time and gave an excellent presentation. Installer arrived on time and was courteous and professional. Did the work quickly and cleaned up after himself. I had a small problem with the system the following day, and the installer returned and corrected it quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend Diamond Water.
Description of Work: Removed existing water softener and pre-filter. Installed a whole-house reverse osmosis system.
