+ 0 more.We used them a year ago. He gave me a detailed, step by step account for what he was going to do in writing. The guy was really nice. They did a great job. They redid our ceiling. They put plastic over everything and vacuumed and they did a fantastic job of our ceiling. They were professional and it took them 3 days. I wasn't in the house at the time, but the people I talked to were wonderful and if I ever needed them again, I would use them

+ -1 moreArrived as agreed and promised the job would be finished in two days- this was important , as movers were due with furniture in three days. All work was completed in two and a half days, cutting it tight , but clean-up was good and everything was finished in the nick of time- The painters did an excellent job and we are very pleased.
Description of Work: Painted the entire interior of our home including closets and some ceilings. Repaired railing to upper floor and installed towel bars in two bathrooms. House is apprx. 1650 sq. ft.

Description of Work: Julian of Deco Plus Painting was referred to us by our tile contractor (also an Angie's List member) as being fully licenses and excellent work. When our existing flooring was being pulled out on 8/13/10, the tile contractor contacted Julian to get him in touch with us. Julian called promptly, but due to our schedule, I was not able to get back with him until 8/17 (with Julian making a follow-up phone call in between, which I thought was GREAT in a contractor!). Julian was willing to come over that same evening to give us an estimate. He arrived earlier than I did from work so waited outside. Julian recommended that we get the painting done before the tile was laid (the other 2 contractors providing estimates said to do it after). Julian presented his contractors license and Clark County contractors license information as well as his business card. As a City of Henderson employee, he told me of another satisfied customer & Henderson employee. (Yes, I did check with that person about his experience with Julian & he was very satisfied.) He provided his estimate via e-mail that same night, since we had another appointment to get to. Julian was also very good about answering some follow-up questions I had. Of the 3 estimates we got, his was the highest (although they were all within $95 of each other). Although price was a minor factor in our ultimate decision to go with a different contractor, the biggest factor was that Julian did not have a City of Henderson business license, which as a City of Henderson employee is important to me. Another factor was that his NV State Contractors License and his Clark County Business License had two different addresses.

+ -1 morethe first day he didnt show and was late to call. the main guy Julian is a pillar of professionalism but some of his guys get a little lazy. you have to keep an eye on them to ensure they give the same detail Julian (the formean / owner) gives. When i first contacted him he was a little reluctant to but black paint in my house but after talking about my ideas he went ahead and did it and to both our surpise it came out better then we planned. he matched the black to our floors and it was amazing! Despite the guys needing just a little more attention to detail Julian usually keeps them in check and does stand by his work. I would use him again and would refer him to anyone else.
Description of Work: walls and celings painted, stair banistars sanded and painted.

+ -1 moreJulian gave me the estimate, we confirmed a start date and I sent him via email the colors for each room. He and his crew arrived on time and started to work. They were organized, personable, extremely conscientious and detail oriented not sloppy or lazy. They did an excellent job, cleaned up the mess, all on schedule. Brandon brought some of his grandmothers cookies and they were excellent too.
Description of Work: Julian and his crew painted 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in a townhouse. They did an excellent job!

+ -1 moreI was pleased with the outcome. It was a crew of 2 painters. It took them a total of 5 days to complete the job. I had all my questions answered. I felt they were very focused with the whole project. Also, the mess was cleaned up when they finished the job.
Description of Work: The painters began by covering the floors and then they painted the whole interior of my 3200 square foot house. They used acrylic paint.

+ 0 moreI would not use any other company. I love them. I also had them paint the outside of my house in the past. They are on time. I had no problems with the work. It was perfect and completed fast. The company was very informative and showed me the different paint methods that I could chose from.
Description of Work: I had them paint 6 interior rooms and 2 bathrooms in my home. They used semi gloss and flat paint. They also did trim work as well. The work was done in 2 days.

+ -1 moreAt the time of our work in 2005, they had been in business for 3 yrs. and had no complaints with NV State Contractor's Board or BBB. They are licensed, insured, bonded. They provided a detailed estimate and contract, and they adhered to all items in a professional, expert manner. They arrived on time, provided excellent and courteous service. They were extremely careful with our new flooring and all items inside the home. They taped and covered everything very well, and left the home in the same condition as when they arrived. I would highly recommmend them, and will certainly use them again.
Description of Work: Painted home interior walls, baseboards, doors. We have 10' ceilings and many architectural details (including columns/decorative dropped and cove ceilings, bullnose corners with changes of paint colors, etc.) which make painting more difficult and costly. This company painted approximately half of interior of our home. (Another contractor had painted first half).

+ -1 moreDeco Plus Painting did everything that was asked of them and more. The one thing that really stood out for me was that they did not waste my time, as they were one time and got right to work. I also liked the fact that they cleaned up well after themselves.
Description of Work: They painted six rooms in our home, including the stairway and trimmed around the windows.
