D C PAINTING WAS THE FIRST OF THREE PAINTING CONTRACTORS THAT I SELECTED FROM ANGIE'S LIST TO GET ESTIMATES FROM. DAVID CORDON ARRIVED RIGHT ON TIME AND AFTER I SHOWED HIM WHAT I WANTED DONE HE SENT TO HIS TRUCK (HIS ROLLING OFFICE) AND WITHIN MINUTES PRESENTED ME WITH A VERY PROFESSIONAL PACKET INCLUDING INFORMATION ON THE PAINT TO BE USED, COLOR CHARTS AND A PRINTOUT OF WHAT WOULD BE DONE AND THE PRICE. I WAS IMPRESSED ENOUGH THAT I DECIDED TO HIRE D C PAINTING WITH NO FURTHER ESTIMATES. THE FIRST DAY THE CREW ARRIVED ON TIME AND ALL INTERIOR WORK WAS COMPLETED INCLUDING DRYWALL REPAIR, LIVING ROOM AND DINING ROOM PAINTED, AND FAMILY ROOM TOUCHED UP. THE EXTERIOR WAS PRESSURE WASHED, THE STUCCO REPAIRED AND CAULJKING DONE. IT RAINED THE NEXT DAY, A FRIDAY, SO THE CREW RETURNED ON MONDAY AND COMPLETED ALL EXTERIOR PAINTING. EVERYTHING THAT WE AGREED TO WAS DONE. ONE MORE THING THAT IMPRESSED ME WAS THAT DAVID ASKED FOR NO MONEY UNTIL THE JOB WAS DONE.

The workers showed up on time. removed damaged paint and stucco, re-stuccoed and perfectly matched the texture. After curing time, the wall was painted with a water resistant paint and the color matched perfectly too. I will use him when I have the whole house painted. Great work. I couldn't be happier.

The painters were on time, in fact about 10 minutes early. They did everything that I wanted in a quick and responsive manner. The finished product looked great. They took down blinds and reinstalled them about completion. They also covered everything and cleaned up after themselves. All in all, excellent job and a fair price. I would recommend them to anyone.

It was time to paint the exterior of the house, so we set about researching the job, getting recommendations from friends and cost estimates. We got written estimates from four companies. David Cordon, the owner of DC Painting, came to give us an estimate. David arrived promptly and walked the property with me, asking questons and making suggestions. He was professional and cordial, had a good attitude and a great smile. He got the information he needed and promised an estimate by the end of the day, I received the estimate in an email that evening. I also asked for addresses of completed jobs, he sent three nearby that I could go to see. After looking at those homes, we decided to go with DC Painting, and contracted to have the house exterior painted, the stucco walls painted and the front door restained. David noted that a patch on the stucco (from a previous window removal) did not match the texture of the rest of the house. He had a re-texture done to that patch as part of the prep for the painting - prep included power washing, filling cracks, scraping the eaves and fascia, moving decorative rock away from the house, among other things. When the re-texture was done, David came to inspect it - and being dissatisfied, had it chipped off and done again. I was impressed with his commitment to the quality of the job. The crew from DC Painting arrived on time, worked hard and were very respectful of our property. And they were also nice guys, pleasant to be around. They are very good at their work, I am quite pleased with their attention to detail. In the end, the house looks great, the walls look great and the front door looks better than I thought it could. I know why David has that excellent smile - he is justifiably proud of the good work his company does. I'm thinking about having the interior of the house painted in the coming year, and I will call DC Painting.

David and his crew did a great job. Their bid was competitive and phone calls were returned in a timely manner. They scheduled us in quickly and their crew showed up on time every morning. They were very professional, worked quickly and the finished project looks great. They had a worker come in after the painting was done to inspect everything and spent an entire day touching up any little thing he or I saw that might be off at all- there wasn't much. I waited to write this review for two months to see if anything turned up that I was unhappy with, but everything looks great- and I am a nit-picky perfectionist. I would definitely hire them again.

After living in my home for many years, my home needed a fresh paint job. I called several painters from Angie's List and by far DC was the best bang for my buck. He worked with me as I had to jump through hoops with my HOA to determine colors that were suitable for the house. He completed all work in a timeley fashion and my house looks gorgeous! Very professional. David came by to check the work after the work was completed by his employees. I would recommend DC for price, quality of work and professionalism.

DC Painting did a great job! They are very neat and professional. My house looks fresh and fabulous but still like my house. The surrounding area is paint-free and the mess of painting was all cleaned up. The weather created a 2-day delay between prepping and painting. David was very open with me about the delays, always communicating. I appreciate their work and communication skills.

Job was done quickly and looks very good, and the price seemed good as well. We arranged on the weekend to have the work done, David called me back that weekend and they started immediately.

David gave a competitive estimate for the work. We have exterior and interior work to be performed. He knew we wanted the exterior water entrances sealed before the rains come so he gave us a separate estimate in case we wanted to break the work up. He confirmed his arrival time three times during the week prior to the work being performed. He and his crew arrived on time and started immediately. Got the crew started and confirmed that I still wanted the pigeon spikes. Then he picked them up and returned with the receipt. What was really interesting is that there were a bout 1/2 a box of spike left over and he purchased them from me at a good price so I would not have to store them. As a side note, there was a major repair necessary to a sliding door that had been installed improperly on the rear our new house. It required the extraction and re-installation of the door and door frame as well as a reapplication of the stucco. David recommended Andres Garcia to do the repair. He did the repair so well that my wife and I were astonished and elated at the same time. He did a perfect match on eight year old stucco. You know that's magic. This company gets 5-STARS for the painting plus 1 STAR for the great recommendation for the door repair.

David showed up right on time and gave me a comprehensive estimate of the work that needed to be done and the total cost. He was extremely professional, communicative and professional. His estimated price was very fair, and he actually explained that I didn't need as much painting as I initially thought, so he gets an "A+" for honesty and integrity. I would not hesitate to use David in the future.

David responded quickly to my call and gave me a price to do the work. Job was completed in one day and to my liking. I am considering using him again for another job. Very happy with the price.

Complete satisfaction. Appointments were kept and they were very punctual and professional. Estimates were provided promptly and were professionally prepared. Prices were very fair and competitive. Workers showed up on time, were very polite and professional. When work was completed I expected to pay more because of a change in paint color I requested after work started. Instead I was surprised when work was complete and the owner billed me less than the quoted estimate--he stated the reason was he found a less expensive source for materials. Absolutely no complaints--complete satisfaction...I wish all contractors were as honest and professional as DC Painting.

I would highly recommend DC Painting, owned by David Cordon. We received a quick response to all of our phone calls, received a professional written estimate via email and we were able to go to Dunn Edwards to pick out the colors for our home. David is very professional, hires quality and honest painters and did an outstanding exterior painting job on my 2 story, 2000 square foot home. It looks like a new home! He does not just paint your home, he also fills in all of the cracks and holes we had, painted all the trim, doors, pop outs and even put up new lights that I had purchased at Home Depot. We also had our perimeter wall patched and painted. Day 1 was prepping of the home (power washing and patching) and taping, Day 2 and 3 were for for painting. They thoroughly cleaned up everything when they left. I will definitely use David again and refer him!! Great to have someone like this in Henderson...Thanks for the greatest looking house on the block!! Update: I referred 2 people to DC Painting, and their estimates were substantially higher in price than what was given to me in 2012, almost the same size house with similar painting needs. So his prices now may have gotten a lot higher from when I used them..worth an estimate though

The job took two full days. David's team was punctual, professional and courteous. David ensures the job is completed when we walked through the house for the final QA/QC and touch up. When the time comes for the exterior makeover for our homes, we will call DC Painting.

Powerwashing and painting was completed in two days. They worked into the evening hours to get the job done, losing some time as a result of having to replace the 2x4's.

David came out to the house to assess the work needed, and then sent us an estimate via email within a day. His follow up/communication is terrific ? he confirmed the time the day before, and called when he was on his way. When they arrived, they immediately covered their shoes to protect the floors; throughout the job, they were meticulously neat and clean. We are so impressed with the results - we will definitely ask them back to freshen up more of the interior and exterior! A professional paint job makes such a dramatic change to the look and feel of a space ? and with DC Painting in charge, it?s a relatively small price to pay for such a beautiful transformation! David and his team are personable, professional, accommodating and extremely hard working. We highly recommend DC Painting.

Great! David and his crew were always on time, from the estimate through to the completed job. The paint job looks great and his crew cleaned up the site well. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing an exterior paint job in the area.

They were on time and did a great job overall. David, the owner, took care of two small pieces of missing baseboard without extra charge. He also accommodated our last minute change to two tones and the front door.

I received estimates from two painting companies. The estimate from DC was comparable to the first company, but DC's paint job included many quality extra steps that the other company did not. DC power washed the house, caulked any cracks in the stucco, and additionally caulked around each window and door. David, the owner, was at the jobsite almost all the time during the two day process, and was available to answer any questions. David was also very helpful when it came to finalizing my color choice. The house looks beautiful! The whole crew did a great job. David was a pleasure to deal with, and I would use the company again.
