Phenomenal job. All work was completed as requested. Very professional team.

They did a good job. Everything went fine. They do a good job and do it quick.

This contractor is efficient - the contract was printed up immediately on site and handed to me with a large card of colors to choose from and a professional bio of the company, at the time and place of the price quote - no "estimate" - an absolute contract price with all the bullet points of what would be done, warranty, and a couple of extra things that he agreed to do (which I was happy to pay extra for.) I live far away out of town, and my real estate agent and the pool man confirmed that he was neat and clean, and did an excellent job.

Scheduled work started and ended as promised. Preparation and cleanup were excellent. Paint job also excellent.

It went fine. I used them because they had good reviews on Angie’s List. They were accommodating and even worked on a holiday for me. They were very easy to work with and were friendly. The price was fair.

I liked the other company better with the prices and the guarantee. He seemed very nice but I didn't use him. His response was okay. He wasn't as quick as some of the other people.

I have used DC Painting many time before and they have always done a great job painting in whatever is required. However this last job was a real disappointment because I requested that they repair three holes in the fascia will filler before they complete the painting. Well they filled the holes and it became a huge bulge on the fascia which looks very unprofessional to say the least. Anyway I contacted David the owner to send his men back out to touch up the poorly done patch job and he refused. To make things even worst I requested for touch up paint so I could have another contractor do the repairs and complete the paint touch up. Anyway David did agree to give me some touch up paint and when I made the request for the paint he never responded. It's too bad that his customer relations needs improvement because I was very satisfied with all his previous work. Given the fact that I have given DC Painting many jobs before you would think that a smart business owner would take care of his regular customers even if he had to go an extra mile. Well because of his lack professionalism I will not use or recommend this company to anyone. Many good and reasonable companies out there to choose so don't use this one.

This is the second time I've used DC Painting; David and his crew do high quality work! David recommended colors that would complement my home and neighborhood, provided quotes at different price points based on nature of work and quality/type of paint, and scheduled the job to start within 5 days. His crew arrived on time every morning and were always professional and friendly. During the project they offered excellent suggestions on how to accent different architectural features of my house using the trim color--and they were always spot-on. The DC Painting crew is meticulous and detail-oriented. At the completion of the job they did final touch-ups and made sure everything looked perfect--and they did a great job with clean-up. I'll absolutely be working with DC Painting again.

It looks good. I was happy/surprised with how quickly it was done once started.

8/26/2014 ADDENDUM to my May 2014 Review David contacted me after reading my original review. He came back to my home and addressed all of my concerns I continue to be impressed with the professionalism, honesty and integrity of David Cordon and his company, DC Painting. It's a stand-up company with a stand-up owner, so rare in these times and our city. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him. In the future, I won't bother securing bids from other painting contractors. They couldn't come close to matching the quality painting materials, workmanship, customer service, and integrity of DC Painting. David has a proven track record with me.

David came out at the scheduled appointment time and gave me a reasonable estimate to do the work. His crew showed up when scheduled, did a good job painting the house and a good job of cleaning up. I plan on painting my whole exterior and interior in the future and will give David's company a chance to bid on it and do the work.

David made an appointment within 10 minutes of contact. Showed up as expected, professional, and called when he was on his way. I will use David in the future and buyers beware of other contractors who do not deliver what they promise. David is proving to be a very successful and professional businessman.

They were great. Very professional and prompt. They finished the job on time and it looks great! I would hire them again and refer them to my friends and neighbors.

They did a fantastic job matching the paint. You can't even tell that there were shutters there previously.

DC Painting was very professional and thorough with this job. It was delayed a few days due to high winds in our area. But David had his entire crew there for the next 3 days and completed the job. We are very pleased with the results. The house stucco is cool due to the Eversheild paint in our 100+ degree temperatures. The crew removed all debris, replaced the coach lights and placed the rock back in its original position. We are very happy with the results of this project.

Very professional service. Excellent detail on the quote and explanation of service options. Gave three solid options and clearly explained the pros and cons of each. Scheduled seven weeks in advance and they showed up on time, ready to work at 0730 the scheduled morning. Very good communication throughout each phase with regular walk arounds as progress points were reached. Team was professional and courteous through the whole process. Really went the extra mile to make sure those things not being painted remained that way (even completely covered and sealed the pool in the back of the house!). Cleanup each evening was thorough with materials remaining on site discretely stowed out of the way. Completed on time, on budget and with a high level of quality. Final walk around was a non-event. I would recommend them without hesitation and will absolutely use them again!

David responded immediately when called for an estimate and scheduled work to be performed the same week of our acceptance of his price, which was fair. He and his crew showed on time (actually early) and began masking and preparing all surfaces. All work was completed in 2 days, as promised, and was done professioanlly and looks great. Clean-up was immaculate. I would (and already have) recommend his work to anyone.

Well, I am a "nervous Nellie" when it comes to home repairs, especially ones which are major and cost over $6K. David Cordon was a rock during this whole process, and in the end, I trusted his judgments and everything came out wonderfully. David's bid was the highest of 3 from Angies List that we obtained, but we decided his attention to details was just what we were looking for, so went with him. We painted our house essentially the same colors, but he recommended the higher grade paint, which we agreed to. Also, we were changing the color on the garage doors (4 car garage), going from white to a soft green. After a lot of thought, swatches, and discussions with David, we chose a color. When it was first applied, I didn't like it, but both David and my husband felt the color worked, and now that the whole house is finished, I agree. Also, based on David's recommendations, we made some changes to where the trim color was painted, and that, too, turned out wonderful. I can't say enough about how professional the whole process was. David had scheduled us for a particular week, and kept the start date, and kept things moving. We were hampered by high winds for several days during the week, when it was obviously impossible for them to be outside working, but David kept us well informed of their plans. To top it off, because the weather impacted the timeline for the work so much, he and 4 other of his employees worked all day on a Sunday (7:30 am to 7:00 pm) to finish our job. The workmen were friendly, polite, and VERY GOOD. They masked off everything they needed to, worked VERY hard, and cleaned up so that our yard was immaculate when they finished. All in all, despite my unfounded worries, everything went fine, and we would certainly use David again, and would recommend him highly. GREAT JOB!!!

David and his crew showed up at my home at the appointed time. There were a crew of 4 with David stopping by frequently to assist and supervise. I was pleased with the work I had done..and I felt that the price was fair. I had a few spots that I wasn't happy with after completion, called David, and he sent a man back to fix the spots that were not perfect. My advice, though, to anyone who might have dogs would be to leave the dogs with a sitter for the duration of the job since the crew is large and they seem to do several rooms at once leaving the home owners and dogs trapped in one room without access to the outside. The painting took about 4 days as planned..they were pretty neat and clean..I did not find any splatter. Of course when the job is finished you will need to dust and vacuum. The crew was very careful to mask and cover all surfaces that were not being painted..I really was quite pleased with their work. I had each room painted with a base color, one or more accent surfaces, and the ceiling color. Also had all the baseboards painted in white along with the doors. Absolutely no overlapping in colors. They sprayed the stair railings and hung plastic sheets to totally protect all surfaces that were not being sprayed(felt like I was in Dexter's work space, LOL)The crew was consistant and prompt..and their work ethics were good. They were friendly and helpful. I used DC painters because I saw their excellent reviews on Angie's list..and found them to be true. Never had any other estimates because I was impressed with David on our initial meeting..so not sure if the cost was pricey or not....but very happy.

I live in Chicago, the work was done in Henderson, NV. David did an excellent job of communicating, assisting with paint and color selection and overall coordination of the job. His crew did a good job of protecting landscaping etc. Final results were excellent.

David came to our home to give us an estimate to paint the exterior of our home on March 30, 2014. He was on time, gave us an estimate and said there was no extra charge for the shed in the back yard or for painting our gate. The date was set for Friday, 4/11/2014 to wash down the house and paint on 4/12/2014. He told us he would be out of town but he would have gone over everything with his crew. His crew showed up on time and even painted our built-in B-B-Q on the patio without us asking if they would. Every thing was done as friendly and professionally as possible. They do excellent work and are very reasonable. They finished mid-afternoon and cleaned up front and back yards of all the plastic and paper they had used. We could not recommend them more highly.

David arrived on time for the estimate. He explained the scope of work and the differences in paints and coatings. We set a date for the 17th of March to begin work. He said the job would take 3days. His crew should up each day on time and did a wonderful job of masking and protecting the property from over spray. Any one can paint, but the prep is what separates the painters from the craftsmen. We had a delay of one day due to high winds and the work was completed by March 20, 2014. Dave emailed us and explained the issue. Excellent communication! I cannot say enough about how great a job they did and what attention to detail. You can get cheaper, But you cannot get better than CD Painting.

They painted the ceiling and textured ceiling and walls.

The pre-job communication was not as detailed as we would have liked. We sent a few communications to David regarding details and received little to no response, however, with that being said David and his employees showed up on time with correct colors, so I can't complain. David did a walk through with us and his employees reviewing all of the work that was to be done. He had 2 employees working 3 full days on our property. They did an excellent job prepping everything, painting, cleaning up, and touch ups. They were friendly and got the job done. We were especially appreciative that they worked over a holiday weekend, so we did not have to take off from work.

David came as arranged and gave an estimate the very next day. We wanted every room inside and the complete exterior painted. His estimate was reasonable and professionally presented -- easy to understand and detailed. We had a timing issue with visitors and David was able to accommodate our schedule -- even though it was not the best for him and his crew. His crew was on time every day - early actually. They worked diligently and did an excellent job. Walls, ceilings, baseboards and trim were all done neatly and to the highest standard. David made sure that the colors were the ones we wanted and had no problem with changes requested after seeing the samples. When the work was finished, David personally made sure that all of the rooms were done to our - and his - satisfaction. He actually pointed out punch list issues that we had missed. David and his crew did an excellent job and we recommend them highly for any painting job you have. We would not hesitate to use them again.
