He came out and was very nice and professional. He was also very punctual. He offered to do a little extra work for the same price. We decided however to do the work ourselves, so we cancelled the Big Deal purchase.

Contacted owner David Cordon, he gave me a bid, we worked out the schedule, and the work was done. DC Painting did a fantastic job. They were very professional, prompt, and clean. They painted the outside of my home two years ago, and I was completely satisfied with the job they did. Didn't even bother to get a second bid this time.

These guys were great. The gentleman who did the estimate was knowledgeable and honest about limitations. The estimate came in second to lowest, though given their reputation on Angie's List and upfront-ness on limitations, they seemed like the safest bet. Decided to go with them. The results were better than expected and the crew worked hard and were super friendly. Very personable. They knew stuff was getting moved back in, and even offered to come back and touch up anything that got nicked from the movers. Turns out that wasn't needed, but it was nice that they went out of their to offer that. Will definitely consider them again in the future.

Because of the rain, the painters' schedule was changed and David forgot to correct his calendar. The painters did not show as scheduled. After I called and reminded them of their commitment, David sent his painters later on the same day. His painters were great- can't say enough good things. The only problem was the scheduling snafu, for which David apologized for. His price was very reasonable and I received good quality work.

they had two teams one for each house, power washed houses day one painted both the second day. they prept the houses covering windows doors ,surfaces areas moved rocks away from,sides of the houses did all stucco repairs, caulked the windows. They were very professional ,and did an excellent jobs. They were my lowest bid for the job. but would hire them again.they also gave me all left over paint, which was conciderable.

I called and spoke to David in May he came out and provided a written estimate on the spot. We were very impressed with his professionalism. When we decided to go with his company I called and was scheduled for July 1st. He came out with his crew the first day to make sure they were familiar with what we ordered. All the workers were friendly and very professional. We were very happy with the end result. The house looks very nice.

Outstanding. The guys showed up on time. They prepped the surface, primed and got the new color just right. The two gentlemen that did the painting were very courteous, answered my questions and were willing to make a last minute change in the color.

David and his crew were very professional and did an outstanding job. The house needed stucco repaired before the actual painting could be done. David recommended a stucco repair company which did an excellent job for us. After the stucco cured, David and his crew showed up on time when they said they would. They worked over a Friday, Saturday and Sunday as they were also working on a job out of town. They put in over 10 hours on one of the days that they were here, in order to complete the job. We weren't happy with the color for the trim that we had chosen. David insisted that he wanted us to be completely satisfied with the job and he re-painted all of the trim on the house with a darker color than the one we had originally chosen. All this, I might add, at no additional cost to us. I would recommend DC Painting to anyone who wants a reliable, professional, friendly company that is extremely customer oriented!

It went extremely well. Showed up on time for both power washing and later painting. Had a knowledgable crew, and they were very good at doing clean work. There was not one drop of paint left anywhere but on the surfaces to be painted. They also sealed around all doors and windows prior to painting. They were great!!

All communication had been done in written form through e-mail as we live out-of-state and the work was to be performed on our home in Las Vegas (which was on the market for sale). I had requested that Mr. Cordon contact our neighbor (who was overseeing all contract work to be completed on the property) to schedule an appointment to provide an estimate. He DID NOT SCHEDULE with her, but instead went to the property on his own and sent us the estimate for his services. Mr. Cordon did provide a very competitive bid on the work. When we opted to move forward with the work... AGAIN, we asked Mr. Cordon to schedule the work time with our on-site contract manager (our neighbor). He again did NOT do that... just came out to the house and did the work (very quickly, I might add... we were wanting to get all contract work done ASAP to the home). Upon completion, the invoice was promptly sent. While the work in the specified area was done very well (outstanding paint match on an exterior wall which was very much sun faded), the reason that we had wanted him to coordinate with our on-site contact was so she could oversee the work done (if in the event that there were any issues, they could be corrected at that time... also, there were two other small spots utilizing the same paint colors in close proximity to the primary job which we wanted him to touch up. As a result, he ONLY did the work for the one designated area... the other little spots would have been pointed out to him to have been included in his estimate and job order IF HE HAD CONTACTED OUR ON-SITE CONTRACT MANAGER AS REQUESTED.) Mr. Cordon did an excellent job on the primary specified area, but did not follow directions... we would have liked to have had the other two little spots touched up as well.

The owner of DC Painting, David, responded promptly to my call. When he came to do an estimate, he was very thorough in explaining what would be done, and answered my questions, and gave me a detailed, written estimate before he left. He was willing to use the paint we had purchased (Behr Ultimate). The painters came on time, power-washed the house and trim, and repaired small cracks and sealed the bottom of the walls all the way around where the stucco ends. The process of power washing, priming and painting took 3 full days of work (about 7:30 am to 4:30 pm). On the final day when the trim and doors were painted, I was there the whole day to inspect the final stages of the work. When I found some small places that needed touch-up, the workers were very quick to take care of that. I was especially impressed with their excellent masking job. There was no over-spray and all edges were flawless. One of the painters was bi-lingual and could communicate well in English and was able to answer my questions. Everyone I met from DC painting acted professionally, had a clean and neat appearance and were friendly and helpful. I am very pleased with their work, and recommend them enthusiastically.

When I called her answered the phone promptly and professionally. Each time I have scheduled for work, they arrived on time, did the work (again) in a prompt and professional manner AND the clean up was spotless. Much of the painting they did was outdoors and none has faded or cracked...I am very happy with DC Painting.

David gave me an estimate which I felt was reasonable and he and his crew showed up promptly on the designated day andtime. The work was done efficiently and well. I am very pleased with the outcome and will use DC Painting again in the future.

On time clean and professional

Overall, the project goes well. We decide to have the exterior of our home painted. We check Angies? List and find that DC Painting is one of the highest rated painters. While deciding whether to call them, we visit the local paint store to see actual color chips of the HOA-designated pallets, and the paint technician at the store mentions that DC Painting is known for doing good work. We have another estimate in hand, but decide to call DC Painting anyway. David Cordon, Jr., the owner of DC Painting, LLC, visits us to review our project. We spend some time examining the exterior of the house and the wall surrounding the backyard. David makes several suggestions and comments. We go back inside and discuss the project some more, covering paint quality, types of paint finishes, and generally, the technical aspects of what our project entails. David then says he will leave and be back to us with an estimate. I ask him if he means tomorrow. His reply is that he will be back to us within the next ten minutes. In less than ten minutes, David returns to our front door holding a professionally printed estimate. In his brief absence, he has looked up the property on the Clark County Assessors Office, getting the exact square footage of the house. The estimate includes, in fine detail, the work that is to be done along with its associated cost, and David has included the previously discussed paint upgrades as an option. We have the ability to accept or reject any portion of the project knowing the cost impact. DC Painting?s cost is higher than the competitor?s estimate. However, after comparing the two estimates, we come to the conclusion that DC?s work will be ?done right?; we do not have that feeling with the other vendor. We sign the estimate (with some minor adjustments) and turn it into a contract. There is a minor hiccup with the starting date as Mother Nature decides to deluge the area with severe thunderstorms and flash flooding; not ideal weather for exterior painting. DC Painting calls to reschedule in a timely way, so there is no wondering on our part whether the painting will begin or not. As soon as the weather clears, the project begins. The work crew arrives at the agreed-upon date and time. David (the owner) describes the work plan for the following days to me. The preparation work is very extensive. All decorative stones are raked away from the walls, all surfaces not being painted are protected. All stucco repairs are completed, including the lower part of the privacy fence which is showing the effects of water damage. The weather stripping around the garage doors is replaced. All surfaces are thoroughly power washed. Once dry, any place the stucco is penetrated is caulked; windows, gas pipe entrance, electrical service entrance, cable television entrance, drain pipes, etc. All surfaces are painted. The pop-outs (areas around the windows, for example) are painted. The backyard wall is primed and painted. The iron railing is prepped, primed, and painted. There are several little details that contribute to the quality of the project. Detail one. After removing all solar screens (around 15), the windows, exterior fans, lights, kick-plates, and door hardware are taped and covered. All surfaces that are to remain unpainted are very well protected. Items protected include; pool equipment, a/c equipment, lights, fixtures, external fans, and electrical boxes. Even the in-ground pool was covered with plastic to keep the paint out of it. Items protected also includes all sidewalks and driveway surfaces. When covering the sidewalk to prevent paint stains, heavy paper is used; not a plastic drop cloth. The paper is taped in place and remains for the duration of the project. Not only does this provides an The effective barrier against paint drips, but it also provides a safe surface upon which to walk. Detail two. DC Painting uses power sprayers for painting stucco surfaces. This could allow the use of extension handles that allow the painter to remain on the ground, but paint upper surfaces. DC Paining does not use extension handles, however. As much as possible, all painting is done on a ladder at ?eye-level?. This allows the painter to see how well the sprayer is covering the surface, which, in turn, provides for a much more consistent application. I have seen gaps in paint coverage from other painting companies that do use the extension handles. When the surface is lit by bright sunshine, one can clearly see the variation in the application (one area is clearly lighter than the another. Detail three. Before painting the exterior doors, DC Painting removes the weather stripping around the door before painting and reinstalls the weatherstripping once the paint is dry to the touch. There are no doors sticking at the end of the project. Detail four. The crew speaks to us at the beginning of each workday, describing what their work plans are for that day. The crew is always professional and polite. Detail five. David visits the site, at least, daily, sometimes more than once during the day. He has a very good eye for detail and catches deficiencies very quickly. Fortunately, his painting crew are professionals in their own right, sharing David?s idea of producing quality work, so few deficiencies are found. The painting is complete, all solar screens are replaced, and the cleanup is complete. David and I review the contract and the final work product. All is fine. Payment is made. All-in-all, a very successful project.

They arrived promptly, worked quickly, did a great job and left the work area spotless. I have used DC Painting twice before on both exterior and interior and I would never use anyone else. I recommend this company wholeheartedly.

Took a few months to complete and not due to OVctor and staff's fault. We had major renovation that was estimated to be five weeks but took four months. His team was very patient coming in and out of our house when needed and any issues we felt that was a concern were all resolved immediately without question or any additional fees.

Perfect. Did all of the moving of furniture, removal of old carpet, clean-up, an installation. Perfect job. Offered me great deal on interior house painting which I will have them do as soon as I have the funds saved up.

My son thought they did a good job. They did everything they were suppose to do. There were two men doing the work and it took about 2 days to complete.
