Dan's Heating & Cooling

I was told I need about 3lbs coolant and a capacitor was failing in both and advised I replace them both. 220 a piece and 300 for coolant. They work fine now. Always get a second opinion. 800 instead of 4K or 20k to replace. I’ll always use dans from now on.

I spoke to or got quotes from 4 different plumbers and these guys were the best. Dan was friendly and professional. He left very detailed information as to what the problem was, what parts were needed and the estimated cost for repairs. He was very knowledgeable as far as the information about our particular unit, the availability of parts, and any future problems that might happen depending on what options we chose.

It went well. Dan and his staff were all professional. The technician arrived early and checked out my 18 year old unit. He told me it would have to be replace and he quoted me a price. We set up a time to do the work. They arrived on time and worked quickly completing the work in one day. They explained everything they were doing, answered all my questions and even found and corrected a couple of problems that existed on the previous installation.

Work was done on schedule and Dan was a pleasure to work with. NOTE: All a/c guys talk about service after the sale while selling you. I called Dan months after the install, on Sunday afternoon in peak period. He was at my house in a couple of hours, worked, got a part, worked and fixed everything, no problem and no charge (warrantee work). Impressive.

Technician arrived within 45 minutes of my repair call when my 25 year old A/C system stopped running. They patched the system so it would run until the new Lennox A/C system was installed 2 days later. They arrived "on time" and completed the work "on time". They exercised care in not damaging anything inside the house by using new floor runners and door/wall guards. Communication was EXCELLENT and they were patient answering all my questions. Price quote was 100% inclusive/no cost overrun exposure. Best contractor I've ever used*****Would recommend unequivocally to everyone*****

When I called to make the appointment, I asked about weekend available. Not available. Asked about evening availability. They work evenings, but not for tuneups due to darkness. Not a good start, they don’t have flexible enough hours to truly accommodate a typical M-F work schedule. Made an appointment for 05/15 with an arrival time between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. The appointment was scheduled out 1 month in advance, so had to wait quite awhile. 3:00 on the day of the appointment came and went. No Show, No Call. I called at 3:05 and was given the standard “The technician is on his way”. I couldn’t wait any longer as I had taken off work and couldn’t be certain at this point when he would actually arrive. At 3:15, I leave the house to head back to work. A van from this company is parked in the street blocking my driveway. As I made eye contact with the technician, he quickly drove away. He was actually at our house with no phone call, no doorbell, no door knock. Plus, he sped away rudely. No consideration for their customers. While we may be purchased an inexpensive deal at $39. It shouldn't be money wasted. Unfortunately, it was in this case. Would never recommend this company.

Very well. Dan is very congenial. While flushing my water heater, we had a lengthy conversation which was very informative to me regarding the pros/cons of various methods of producing hot water (water tank/tankless/solar).
