D & B Electric

Power had gone out in my garage, laundry room and the front exterior lights. I suspected it was a circuit breaker, but going through the circuit box I didn't see anything had been triggered. I was concerned it might be something more serious so I called Dand B. David and Shane were able to come by within a couple of hours of me calling them. They too couldn't find anything wrong, so they removed the cover plate from the circuit box and found that one of the circuit breakers had been triggered but it just hadn't moved the switch the way it should have. In any event, the problem was solved very quickly. It wasn't a difficult issue, but I greatly appreciated their responsiveness and their professionalism. They also answered a few other questions for me and suggested what might have caused the circuit breaker to trigger. It looks like one of the exterior lights burned out in a way that just triggered the break. The interior of the glass was all blackened. It is unusual for something like this to cause a circuit to break and I wouldn't have considered it myself as I've never had that happen to me. So I'm glad David came out.

Dave is the best. He came the next day after we called him, he recommended a good, quiet garage door opener. We purchased it and he and Shane came back the next day to install it. Dave has years of experience with electrical work and it shows - he knows exactly what needs to be done and also identifies issues with old wiring. Dave and Shane were prompt and worked hard to get our garage door installed perfectly - which required installation of new tracks and sensors. We have used Dave and Shane before and will definitely call Dand B Electric for any future electrical needs - highly recommend!

I called at about 8:45 am and got an immediate answer. Dave was working on another job, but took my information and said he would be here within 2 hours. When he and Shane arrived almost 2 hours later, they were very very pleasant, polite and professional. They added an outlet in my garage and reworked another outlet that had been hooked up incorrectly. They explained what they were doing and showed me the problems they encountered from previous work on the house. Then they checked out the power to my television and assured me everything was normal. At that point, they came inside and I showed them where I wanted the second outlet. Because it was in a difficult spot, they were not sure it was and quot;do-able.and quot; But, they figured out a way to do it and did it exactly as I wanted it. They were at my house for at least 2 hours and charged me $160. I am very pleased with the work and will surely call them again if I need electrical work done. I highly recommend them.

Great!! Dave and Shane were very nice 2 work with. Came same day I called (Christmas Eve) and got the work done quickly and thoroughly. I was charged a very modest price and wasn't pressured to have any extras done at all. There is more to be done in my house at a later date and I will most definitely be calling these guys back!

Very friendly and professional. No nonsense with extra and quot;stuffand quot; needing to be done. He just fixed what needed fixing and charged a reasonable price for the service. I would definitely use this electrician again.

I spoke with David and he offered me a good estimate and the price was reasonable. At this time I am going with the phone company to do the work but I felt very comfortable about using him in the future.

Dave was great. Got an appointment within a reasonable timeframe. He installed three ceiling fans for us at a reasonable price in under two hours time. Professional, personable, knowledgeable fellow. Would call him again for electrical work. Would recommend him to friends and family.

Dave was very responsive, coming out two days after we called him to provide a very reasonable estimate of the work, then scheduled the work for our next available day. Dave and Shane showed up promptly and were very skilled and efficient at completing all of our various jobs. While replacing our ceiling fans, they noticed dangerous wiring in the attic that the previous owner had done to install two ceiling fans, where wires had been spliced into our smoke detector; in addition, the ceiling fans weren't anchored, so they were wobbly. They didn't try to and quot;upselland quot; us for any additional work, but repaired everything so that it was safe. They were very professional, responsive and reasonably priced, I would highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work. We are enjoying all of our new lights, ceiling fans, dimmers and switches - they are working perfectly, and it's good to know they were installed correctly/safely. We will only call them for our future electrical work!

David was very professional and on time. I would definitely use them again without any hesitation. This price was fair and reasonable.

i called about noon, explained the problem as best as i could. he said he would stop between 4-5 pm the same day. he arrived at 4 pm and solved the problem and gone by 4:30 pm. he did a nice job, was friendly and polite. would recommend him. very satified.

The didn't do anything and I was kind of surprised and upset. They just charged me the $200 with no reciept. They were very nice and pleasant, but I feel like they shouldn't of charge me for anything. They didn't even give me a bill.

I called Friday morning and they were out that afternoon to fix the light.

Dave showed up as scheduled, performed the work quickly and efficiently. He is very friendly and explained what he was doing. Extremely satisfied and would use him again as well as recommend him to others.

David and Shane returned to do more electrical work. They fixed the remote to a fan and light, put a timer for our outside light, correctly wire our transformer for the door bell and house light. We had them investigate the possiblity of running wires for a fan for our patio. They told us that it would require extensive work and since we have quite a bit of wind in the area, we might rethink our decision. They did not try to sell their services that we might regret later. This was quite refreshing. I will continue to use them for my electrical work.

Dave and Shane came early which was a boon for me. They assessed the work that needed to be done and worked quickly. My single story house had cocoon insulation so they had to cut a 2 foot by 2 foot hole in my garage ceiling so they could run the wire to the laundry room without messing up my insulation. The work was completed to my satisfaction and they both did a very competent job. I would use them again if I needed more electrical work done.

Dave arrived promptly at our appointed time. I explained my issues and he immediately knew what the problem was. He explained everything and showed me what he was doing. I had originally contacted him for the GFIs and Arc fault protector problem, but while conversing with him, I learned he was able to fix all kinds of things, and he ended up fixing my smoke detector, toilet, and outside light. Dave had everything available in his van, he was quick and efficient, and entertaining to chat with. I feel he was reliable, trustworthy and gave me honest work for an honest price. I would definitely call on him again if I needed.

I got them off of Angie's List. I would say it was a good experience. They both work so that's the main thing. They were prompt, courteous and did a good job. I haven't compared price for a long time.

David arrived right on time (8:00 am) and proceed to work on the chandelier. The job was harder than he had envisioned in that the space for the ladder was limited by our stairway right in front of the entry door. He and his helper had to manage moving the 18 foot ladder into position. The job was completed and the chandelier is a vast improvement over the original one that came with the house. The trim piece was also a piece of cake, once the large ladder was put in place. The ceiling fan installation went great and adds to the look of the bedroom. David quoted the job over the phone and even with the difficultly of hanging the chandelier, the price was as he quoted over the phone. It sure was nice doing business with such a honorable contractor.

Gave accurate estimate on the phone. Came exactly when he said he would. Was extremely pleasant, compenant, and explained everything that he was doing. We had someone else replace our doorbell (an amateur) who didn't know what was doing. He shorted the tranformer by cutting wires and thus our outside address light didn't come on. Dave spotted this IMMEDIATELY. He knew just what to do, had the parts in his truck and worked with only 1/4and quot; of wiring on the outside doorbell. We would defenitely use him again. Now we have an electrian that we can depend on and will call him whenever we have a problem.

It was easy for me. I didn't have to go out to the rental property, he did eveything for me. It only took him about fourty-five minutes. The price was worth it for the convenience. I would consider using him again.

I had an outlet in the kitchen that was not working. To me it looked like we needed to cut a hole in the dinning room wall to get to the wires to reconnect to get the outlet working. I had just patched the walls and had them painted so I was not too happy about this. Dave came by and said we didn't have to do that, he could pull out the dishwasher and get to the wires from there which he did saving me more work and money. Thanks Dave.
