Curt's Home Repair

Curt is a homeowner's dream. He is very easy to work with, did everything I asked, was on time and cleaned up when done. Anything that has to be fixed or repaired around my home will be done by Curt.

After deciding to update two bathrooms, we were referred to Curt. He came to our home to ascertain what was needed and gave us an estimate. We ageed on a start date and schedule for accomplishing the task. Curt was always professional, courteous, punctual and organized. The project was finished on time and the results are excellent!

Once I called Curt's home repair I spoke with his wife and made the appointment. She made the process very smooth and easy. Curt then called me to confirm our appointment and let me know that he had a dentist appointment on the same day as our appointment and asked me if he could come a little later than the time arranged or would i like to reschedule. Curt called me once his appointment was done and let me know he was on his way. When Curt arrived he was pleasant and courteous. Once he evaluated the situation and necessary repairs needed he got to work. He worked with efficiency and professionalism. I will be using Curt again in the future for other repairs.

My first phone call was not returned but when I called again, I got his wife and we set up an appointment. He did the work quickly and I have a shiny new faucet.

I called and talked to Curt and told him I needed an estimate on drywall repair and he put me in touch with his office to set up an appointment for a free estimate. Curt was on time, professional and a nice guy. He gave me the estimate and as soon as he left, I called and scheduled the repair work. He was on time and had the job done in about 4 hours including taking down the old wall and building a new one. He took special care to clean up before he left. I got a 2 hour window for the appointment and he was early which was OK. His wife is rather aggressive...and tends to scold. He seemed like a nice guy and did put in a weather strip on my door- I just wish he could have gotten my lamps connected to a switch- I got him under Electricians- not general handyman..

He was right on time whenever he said he would be here. His job was professionally done and he cleaned up after himself. I would definitely use Curt again. It is nice to know I can rely on him to do the job right for a fair price.

I can not comment on work performance since I couldn't even get to that point. Apparently he isn't hurting for work since he never returned my phone call. After 3 days I gave up.

Curt was prompt for his initial visit to give us an estimate of work I wanted done. He impressed me right away - very professional and no hard sell on anything. Curt is very popular and has many clients, so I had to wait about two weeks for my appointment with him, but it was worth the wait. Every job he did was done very well. He is totally professional, very cheerful and friendly, and just a joy to have someone like him in our house! I will definitely use him for any jobs I have in the future, including repainting the inside of my house and demo of my kitchen countertop and island for granite installation. You cannot go wrong if you hire Curt!

Everything you would want in a skilled Handyman. ON TIME. PLEASANT PERSONALITY STAYED WITHIN HIS ESTIMATE A+ WORK NO BAIT AND SWITCH OR UP-SELLING which seems to be the norm here in Vegas. WILL USE AGAIN...

Trying to find reliable people can be a challenge. Based on other Angie's List reviews I called Curt's home repair to have some drapery rods and drapes hung. I got lucky because Curt was in my area and had availability same day. He arrived on time, looked at the job, quoted a price, and then began work. He runs a top notch business and I will use his services again in the future. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to have work done around their house!

The jobs he performed were done efficiently, with skill, and he is professional in all his work and dealings with us as a customer. Will definitely call him the next time we have things we can't do ourselves. He mounted our large screen TV in a space we wanted, but didn't think would fit (it does!); he mounted a huge picture, an outdoor fountain, and raised a chandelier. He came out prior to the job to give an estimate and to see what was involved. That was very helpful for both of us!

I hired Curt to build a deck behind my townhouse. Everything went exactly as it should. He was on time for each appointment, communicated well with me about my plans for the space, understood my preferences, and completed the work in a timely and altogether professional way. He didn't do any more than he needed to do, nor did he try to go beyond our agreement. He actually improved my plan; I hadn't thought about a better way to deal with one edge of the deck, and his suggestion was far superior to what I thought we'd have to do. Curt is very good at explaining what he's doing and why. He's friendly and always easy to deal with. He cleans up after he's done. The deck looks better than I expected. I'd looked for someone to do this deck for some time. Most folks want to do pavers, but in my case, with a mostly covered space and issues with a drain, a deck was really a much better solution. I found Curt for a different job (hanging a ceiling fan), and in conversation learned that he did this sort of carpentry. I'm glad I did. Couldn't be happier with my new deck.

He is wonderful, they did great work, and he is also going to be giving me an estimate for more work. He is very courteous and fast. I am very satisfied.

Went very well. Called to get a quote and the appointment was set for the next day. Showed up on time and gave an estimate. Called to make an appointment and told them of my time constraints. Was scheduled less than a week later and the work was completed to my satisfaction promptly. Was professional and very courteous.

Curt came and gave us an estimate and then returned to do the various jobs.

Curt and his helper were on time and completed the work on schedule. He and his helper performed quality work at a reasonable price.

It was very easy to set up an appointment with Curt. He was actually able to come out the following day. I had called a previous handyman, but he did not have a tall enough ladder for the job. When I scheduled the appointment, I did mention that the highest camera was over 30 feet high, so Curt could come prepared. He arrived on time and was very friendly. I showed him the cameras and he was a little concerned with the highest camera but said he would see what he could do and went to work immediately. He was very efficient and quick. He doesn't procrastinate or take his time. He works very fast and gives you quality work. Before I knew it, he had all four cameras down and I was signing the service papers. He did not have a tall enough ladder, but used his courage and desire to complete the job to get that troublesome camera down. I was extremely grateful for his work and being able to come out so quickly that I tipped him and he was very appreciative. Curt is first rate and being a single woman with a daughter, he is extremely professional and a gentleman. Women, if you need work done around the house or have an incapable husband, Curt can handle the "honeydew" list. He communicates very well with everything he is doing and his work is top notch.

Original review was negative, but since then they contacted me to explain email estimate was sent to me which for some reason Idid not receive. They were very responsive. I look forward to getting a new estimate.

Curt was prompt and very knowledgeable about ceiling fan installation. Did the job quickly and professionally. I will definitely hire him again for other jobs on the house.

I was replacing the cabinet, counter top and sink in my hall bathroom. I needed some one to relocate the electrical so that I could put up a new light fixture. I also had several areas of drywall that needed to be fixed and also wanted two ceiling fans put up in a couple bedrooms. Curt and his helper were there on time and spent about 3 hours taking care of the issues I had. They were professional and did a fantastic job. This is the second time I have used this company and would recommend them to anyone. I will also being doing the same thing to my master bath after the first of the year and will call Curt to do some things for me with that one also.

I've been thrilled with every project except one where he had an assistant do some tile work - some of the grouting was applied wrong but he saw it immediately in his inspection and fixed it himself so it looked perfect in the end. I never hesitate to recommend Curt to all my close friends - but I will say that he is very busy and you need to be prepared that he may be running a bit ahead or behind that day. If you are the type that wants someone to show up at 2:47 pm exactly then maybe you should just look elsewhere. I was shocked by the fact that there were anything but "A" reviews on angie's list for him, but on reading them it seems they are all people with unrealistic timing expectations for a professional that has multiple projects going that are all different, especially when he doesn't leave until the job is perfect. It's not someone like a window cleaner, who can know almost exactly how long a job will take. He's also always been very good with communication with me when he was running ahead or behind. I also know that if I called him with an emergency, he would do anything possible to help ASAP. Great professional and a great person!
