Curt's Home Repair

Curt picked up and deliver all materials to our home. He also hauled away all debris. He removed all carpeting from the master bedroom and bath as well as all of the baseboards. He tiled the master math and installed a hardwood floor in the master bedroom. All work was completed within 5 days. We are extremely satisfied with results and will rehire him for our next project.

In September the kitchen faucet was starting to leak badly. I made an appointment with Curt to replace in. On the day it was to be done at 11am, Curt called at 9am. He had finished a job sooner than expected & could he come over in half an hour & replace the faucet? That was fine with me. He arrived about 9:30 & went right to work. When he finished I paid him a very reasonable price. He didn't ask about doing the other work that was included in the July estimate. He knew I had had money problems in July & I believe he didn't want to push me about doing them at that time. I liked that. It made me believe he cares about helping his clients first & making money second. To me this is the best way to make more money. I will hire Curt's Home Repair for all my work in the future!

They were easy to work with, they were prompt, and they did good work.

Curt came out to our home to provide a quote for some tile replacement and re-grouting in kitchen and bathroom. Curt arrived as scheduled and did an excellent job on replacing the tiles. However, he did cut some corners and put a filler in a few tiles instead of replacing. The filler does not look good, but I had no doubt that Curt would rectify this on a subsequent visit. My husband & I were very impressed with his professionalism. That ended quickly. I asked Curt about doing some additional work for us and wanted an estimate. He said he would work that up and took my email address for a follow-up. I did not near from him, but considering that it was near a holiday weekend I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Several weeks later and still no response, I called Curt. After identifying myself, Curt acted like he had no idea who I was, but finally remembered. He proceeded to tell me that he had gotten very tied up on a remodel job he was doing. I reminded him of the information I was waiting for and he said he would review his paperwork when he got home and call me that evening. I elicited a promise from him that he would call and he said he absolutely would. That was the last time I spoke with Curt and it has now been about 7-10 days. I completely understand the fact that he might have taken on a job that consumed more time than anticipated, but it is totally unprofessional to ignore potential clients and not even provide the courtesy of a phone call. We would have understood the delay. We were in no urgent need to have the work accomplished and would have been happy to accommodate his scheduling issues. No matter how good a job Curt did, I would never recommend him to anyone. He was totally unprofessional in handling this matter.T

After I agreed to do most of the work and all Curt needed to was to find the studs and level some attachments to a wall (about a 20 minute process when we booked him for 2 hours - I said I would do the rest of the work myself because it was so urgent), then he agreed to come. He sounded agitated on the phone (perhaps angry with his wife?). Curt arrived and was directed to a parking area I was unfamiliar with; he called me saying he was in a garage and "had no idea where he was" - again, he sounded very agitated. I told him I would call the concierge and ask someone to go to him and direct him here. I called the concierge who confirmed they directed Curt to vendor parking and that they already had sent someone to escort him to the unit (as is their procedure). They said the officer would be there any second. I called back less than 2 minutes after his call to me and he didn't answer his phone. Security called to confirm he left right after arrival - which they confirmed by watching their security tape. They were perplexed as I was. Curt later sent me a message to state he damaged his ladder on the way out. I then wasted another hour going to the security office to review the camera footage to watch Curt arrive, call me, then immediately leave driving quickly. I didn't see anything to suggest he damaged his ladder, but i encouraged Curt to reconfirm this and I would ask the establishment to compensate him - to which I got no response. Very strange, indeed. Anyone who cancels an appointment at the last moment blaming his wife and then making up a story about damaging his vehicle is certainly not to be relied on and I wouldn't trust him. So now the events we were hosting over the holiday weekend will be without an AV system and all the parts are on my office floor. Thanks Curt.

Very well. Curt is very professional, efficient, and courteous. Arrived precisely on time and completed the work promptly. Cleaned the work areas thoroughly. He's very popular and busy, so be prepared for a wait - not unreasonable - to get on the schedule. Recommended.

I called Curt and he returned my phone call. He made an appointment with my tenant. He ran late that day and rescheduled the appointment for the next day. He entered the house, checked all the electrical in the bathroom that was not working, located a circuit breaker outside of the house and repaired it. He then returned to the house and replaced a faulty switch on the garbage disposal. He followed up with a phone call, explaining what he had done and how much he was charging.

I called him and told him I need him to fix the lock immediately, and he came that same day. He did a great job. If there is anything I need in the future, I will call him.

I contacted Kurt on Saturday morning, I explained what I needed done, he was able to quote me a price on the phone, we setup a time, and he arrived on time that afternoon. He performed his work quick, was very knowledgable, and neat. He reinstalled the existing faucet, disposal, and purified water tap on the new sink. He also made a quick run to Home Depot for a few parts because drains were corroded and didn't line up correctly. And he provided quotes for future work i'll be calling him for. His outstanding customer service and friendly personality make him a pleasure to deal with.

He did a real good job. We had trouble with the people that he hired to do certain things but he took care of it himself after. They messed it all up, but at the end, he repaired and took care of everything. So, he did a good job.

There were two occasions that I used Curt's Home repair. Curt called me ahead of time to let me know how his schedule was working and told me he would be a little late and asked if he should reschedule. I told him it wasn't necessary and he arrived when he said he would. He did the work as promised, did it quickly and cleaned up afterward. On the doorbell he was able to improve on the design by installing a screw so it wouldn't come undone.

Curt was prompt. He called prior to arrival and showed up at the agreed upon time. He answered all of my questions and gave me a very fair estimate. He installed a new garbage disposal, washing machine pan, cleared a slow drain, and installed new shower heads. Prior to him leaving I asked him if he knew of anyone who could remove 3 toilets from my garage. He agreed to take them for a minimal price. I am very happy with Curt and I plan to use him again for future projects. I highly recommend!

Diagnosed problem correctly and gave accurate estimate. Once the area was open to inspection, identified further problems and repaired those issues as well. Estimates for all work were spot-on or a little higher than actual costs. Punctual, reliable, cleaned up after his work. Time estimate was spot-on. A couple of weeks later, a problem was noticed in the tile work. He responded promptly and repaired the issue at no extra charge. Bottom line, I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family, and we will certainly use him for any similar issues in the future.

Curt was prompt and professional. He estimated 5 days for the job and was done in 3. He kept us posted at critical phases of the job informing us of our options along the way. The price was right as he stuck to his estimate. We just called him again for more work to be done on our home.

He is very efficient, very kind and very professional. He was right on his price; he did not charge me anymore. Actually he charged me lesser than the estimate. I was very happy with his work, and he did clean up after himself.

Great. Only surprise was how much I under estimated supplies for job.

I called Curt for an estimate and his wife (who by the way was very pleasant on the phone) said that he would arrive between 4 & 5 on Jan 19th. I belive Curt arrived at 4pm on the dot.He looked every thing over and because I had the faucets and light switches he gave me an estimate on labor + whatever the floor board would be and the doorbell. Curt told me to call the office to make an appointment if i wanted the work done. I called the next day and we set for the work to be done on Feb 13th about 9am. Feb 13th 9am Curt arrived He got right to work under the kitchen sink and kept going until he reached the doorbell. I was very pleased with Curt's work ethics and also the way he cleaned up after he was done. I was so pleased, that I asked hime for an estimate on floor tile in the master bathroom and later this year I will call him to have it done . Thanks again Curt Sally

He arrived a little early and finished out the french doors then he installed the microwave. He had to make a run to home depot for a part. He finished the installation and everything was perfect.

They are one of the top rated people on Angie’s list. I had a leak under the kitchen sink and he fixed that. He also had to take out a piece of the wall, which had gotten damp and we were letting it dry. He’s going to come back and replace the piece he took out. He is excellent & punctual. The pricing is fair. I’ve been using them for probably 3 years or so. I would rate him highly across the board. I would absolutely use them in them in the future.

It went very well. The new door is soundly placed and provides the security I needed. I inspected the workmanship and I was very pleased. This is the third time I have used Curt's services. He gives an estimate, he sticks very close to the estimate and if he can save you some money, he offers options. Outstanding and honest person. I would recommend him to anyone.

I joined Angie's List because I found Curt's there. He was very responsive and punctual. He brought everything out with him that he needed to do the repairs after going over a check-list with me ahead of time. He's very professional and reasonable. He actually came back multiple times to fix things I didn't realize needed attention. I definitely will use him again.

Curt has been to our home many times to provide necessary repairs. We trust him implicitly. Since I work during the week, and my husband was hospitalized at that time, I trusted him with access to our home to do the job. He built the ramps, painted, and installed and cleaned up the mess. The ramps looked great and met ADA requirements and he made sure the paint matched the home, per our HOA regulations. He is my first choice for any future repairs. His fees are reasonable and he does good work.
