Description of Work: this was just a first visit estimate to repair some doors replaced in a home invasion....have to submit to ins co. with 2 other estimates, but I am rooting for Curt to do the job!

Description of Work: I called Curt to change out smoke detector battery that is on 18ft high ceiling. (Which can only be reached with 14ft+ A frame ladder) They came out within a day. Usually they would charge a minimum of 1 hr service charge of $85, which is what several others had quoted me. Because it was only going to take a few minutes, they charged me for half the 1 hr servie charge, $42. Prior to arriving, Curt called me to make sure I had correct batteries. I didn't have a lithium battery, Curt said, no problem, I'll pick one up on my way over! While here, he also looked at possible leak in bathroom, at no extra charge! Total with the service fee & battery, paid $50. Curt was very professional & courteous. I will definitely call him when needed again!

Description of Work: It is my pleasure to write this report describing the excellent work and work ethics of Mr.Curt Collins (DBA) Curt's Home Repairs LLC. My husband and I were victims of a home invasion. There was extensive damage to our front door molding and casing. We also wanted a security door hung. Our insurance deductable was $1,000.00. The first 3 contractors were unreliable, did not return phone calls or emails for up to 3 days. We were given extimates in the amounts of $1,200.00 and $1,000.00. Because of the deductable amount we decided to cancel the insurance claim and pay out of pocket. When contractor #1 arrived 3 days and 2 hrs late to do the repairs; he left to purchase the wood molding. After waiting 2 hrs. for his return; we called to inquire as to his delay. He informed us that he had been to Lowes and Home Depot and was unable to find the wood molding. Anyone who has ever been to either of these stores is well aware of the massive inventory of wood molding. Angies List was my next resort. Curt's Home Repairs LLC was my first choice. This man returns phone calls, is honest, and does great work. For $325.00; he did an excellent job of repairing the door molding and casing; hung the security door; and installed a custom doggie door. He is a perfectionist and his work is pristeen. Description of Work: Curt did a faucet and shower door repair and electrical replacement - helped with moving beds, large tv, mirror and other items of furniture including original moving and returning to replace items to their original location. Was very cooperative, courteous and prompt - he called in advance of arriving. He is also coming back to do additional work. We find him very reliable and efficient. Bob & Marian Droste

Description of Work: Remodeled shower, removing old tile and installing new tile. Removed & hauled away all debris, Excellent workmanship, very capeable and professional to work with.

Description of Work: I had him do some random jobs that needed to be attended to. I wanted him to repair my drip system as well as fix a faulty bathroom sink. He took care of the yard and spent time to show me what he did. The bathroom sink was unable to be repaired but he did offer a discount on the installation a new installation

Description of Work: Curt is a real nice guy, very professional, takes pride in his work. He has done several jobs for me already and will be doing more in the future. My chimney had separated from the house, Curt did a marvelous job on securing the structure. He fixed a hole that was in my laundry room wall that was there from a previous water leak.
