Their customer service is horrible. They could improve customer service and the prices. They're a monopoly. I have to use them.

We have never had them come out. We had to go to their place once or twice to change equipment. I don't plan to discontinue their service. There are other companies but I have no reason to change. It is a good service. There hasn't been a problem.

Description of Work: Overcharged us on initial sale. We had to call and talk to a manager to get the price for the advertised special. When the installer came, he did not have the right equipment, so he swapped out with a cheaper router. When the bill came, we were charged for the more expensive router, and we were treated very rudely by customer service and they initially refused to correct the wrong billing. It took several calls to get it resolved. If they weren't the only major player in town, I would have gone with someone else. They tried to rip me off and customer service is terrible.

It took approximately one hour total sitting in front of the computer and talking to customer service either on the chat function on the Cox website or on the phone when they called me. After having Verizon for 7 years and never getting any real satisfaction. It was painless and quite refreshing having such a good response from a cable company. I would recommend Cox Communication for Internet service in the Las Vegas, NV area. My Internet speed is working great and I only had to suffer 2 days with slow speeds until I had a chance to report it to Cox customer service.
Description of Work: Internet speed was very slow and instead of 25 MBS I was getting 1 MBS. Technical support found the signal weak and rest the signal strength to proper level. After I did my survey and reported that the speed was still slow at 5MBS. Customer service promply called and we resolved the speed issue to a faulty registration of the modem.
