Cooper Smooth Wood Finishes

We interviewed several people who claimed to have a lot of experience, among them we were fortunate to work with and learn from Cooper. Punctual, patient, professional and creative, customer focused finished work product. Cooper is extremely experience, And has vast knowledge in woodworking. He has practically specialized tools for every part of the woodworking, refinishing and restoration. His pricing is very fair, his workmanship and finish work is exceptionally excellent He’s very punctual and always on time, he always finish the job on time. Originally, we intend to do single project with him. After noticing his great finished product, I asked him to do multiple refinishing work for us. We are extremely happy with him. We highly recommend him to all of our friends, in the future Will ask him to do all of our woodworking and refinishing. In summary, he has great expertise in refinishing, his prices are very good, he is punctual and shows up on time and finish the job on time.

Mr. Cooper is a total pro who gives a lot of attention to detail & would readily recommend him to everyone. I would suggest being flexible with timing expectations. Totally worth the wait.

Cooper did a fine job of restoring our solid wood table. While he normally does the work on-site, we had no spare area for the work. He took the table back to his workshop and brought it back for no extra charge. The price was about half of what it would cost to get a new solid wood table.

Cooper is definitely a true craftsman. After completing two jobs for me....one better than the other, I would highly recommend him for both wood and metal. Cooper did an excellent job. The chandelier fell on my Henredon dining room table causing extensive damage to the high gloss wood finish. Cooper repaired the damage and refinished the table to the original high gloss. He is very meticulous and passionate about his work.

Cooper did a great job overall. Very dependable and friendly.Price was readonable. Only one thing;I had to give him a 4 rating because I asked for my makeup table to be refinished in a cherrywood expecting it to look like it was. A reddish finished; but it turned out more of an orange-brown. He did a great job of sanding and getting in the crevices which took time and patience.So the overall job was well done. Cooper is an amazing wood worker and he takes so much pride in his workmanship. I had a Stickley table that the movers snapped a leg off and no one would fix it and Cooper said to send him a picture and he not only fixed the leg but did a beautiful job. I am so impressed with him I just had him refinish a intricate trunk and again came out amazing, so just gave him a weathered table top to finish as well as giving him my sisters number to redo a 60 year old writing desk. Cooper is meticulous with his work and you can see it in his finished work...so I would highly recommend Cooper.

Mr. Cooper did a wonderful job, that exceeded my expectations, by refinishing a 30 year old neglected oak table. He does it on site and the turn around time from initial call to completion was the fastest I've experienced from a craftsman. Highly recommended.

Mr. Cooper over-sold himself. He did not remove the leaves to the drop leaf table to refinish the seams. He was overly aggressive in with his power sander and flattened out the rounded curves on the chairs. The color is not even on all surfaces. The top of table is barely finished. My husband and I will finish putting a proper finish on the top ourselves. He caused damage to our stamped cement patio with the corrosive used to strip the furniture. Needless to say I did not show him the seven other pieces of furniture I need refinished. I will either do it myself or hire someone else.

The best thing I can say about Mr. Cooper is WOW!!! We had a dining table that had been in the family for more than 50 years. When we recently inherited the piece, I suggested we have it updated with a darker stain. We wanted to maintain some of the "old charm" and asked him to "distress" the table. Such a beautiful job, quality workmanship, on time, and knows his stuff. Looking forward to having it proudly displayed in our kitchen for another 50 years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mr. Cooper to anybody needing any type of wood refinished!!!
