It went well. They ask what it is you want to sell your things for and give you half. I did not want people coming to my house so this worked well for me.

I will buy from them in a few weeks.

This is a follow up to my review posted a few days ago in which I told the story of the missing bench. I finally was able to call the corporate office and Amber, the HR Manager spoke with me. She was appalled that it had been over 3 months getting this problem resolved. Theo, the lead sales, at the Rainbow store suddenly became very cooperative. He called the next day, and the bench was there! This can't be a coincidence. I think that since we had paid for our furniture, we were no longer given any priority. But when someone higher on the organizational ladder got involved Theo was motivated. It's too bad the service is so lousy, becasue they have good furniture. My advice; if you shop there take your purchase with you! As for me, I won't be back. Waiting the 103 days to resolve a simple problem is too much.

The delivery truck arrived as promised, but the bench was missing. This is an important piece of the set because the table has 6 places, and the bench uses 2 of those. The 4 remaining chairs leave the table partly empty. So an adjustment in the price is not acceptable. As of today, July 11, 2012, the problems has not been fixed - 3 months plus!!!. Theo the and quot;lead salesand quot; person at the North Rainbow store has made promise after promise to take care of it. They looked for the original bench but couldn't find it. I assume this means that it was delivered to some other customer or stolen by someone. The first promise was that he had to order another bench from the factory and that it would take 2-3 weeks. I can understand this. This never happened. Theo spoke with my wife last week and asked about the color of the bench and cover, so it’s obvious he had done nothing to that point – about 3 months after we started this mess with Colleen’s. My wife sent him a picture of one of the chairs. Today (7/11/12), Theo called and told her she could come get the bench. She drove over to their store and it was the wrong bench, wrong style and wrong color! This is a completely ridiculous way to do business. I tried to reach Theo’s supervisor, but the business is very closed about who reports to who. There is not 1 email address on their website. Colleen is unavailable as is her son, Kevin, who is the CEO. I have no real reason to believe that this will ever get resolved. I am going to dispute the credit card charge and may have to go to small claims court before this is over with them. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. By the way, I work for a large retailer with about 700 locations in 38 states and Canada. If you have a problem you can call the corporate office and actually speak to the CEO and get your problem resolved. I wish this small local company, Colleen's Classic Consignments, was as responsive.

I would recommend them. They were willing to re negotiate with us which we greatly appreciated. It wasn't just a flat rate when we went in. The furniture came on time and there were no problems at all. We thought it was a really good deal.

My better half went to the Henderson store, and saw a piece of furniture she thought would work in the house. Wanting to run it by me, she left a deposit of $50 with Colleens Classic Consignment. She came home, we measured and found it would not fit.She returned to Colleen's the very next day, and they refused to return her deposit. Rather, they gave store credit. All they had to do is hold the cash. It was no more than 12 hours. But they were so hungry to make whatever pathetic amount on a 50 dollar sale that they would not return the money.We will NEVER, ever deal with them again. I've bought high end office furniture from them, spent thousands of dollars with Colleen's, but they just lost a customer for life.Think for yourself: If they're this hard up, do you want to deal with them?

They were absolutely fabulous. They do home delivery but we just didn't do it because we had a trailer. They stored it for us for a month but did not charge us and we had up to thirty days to get it moved. The staff was wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great experience.

It went great - no pressure sales - and enjoyable shopping experience.

The bedroom set was at a very good price and was just what we were looking for. The sales representative helped us find the perfect mattress. We had the furniture delivered and they arrived within the set time frame.

People give them their carefully used old furniture to be sold. I have been pretty pleased with them. They are pretty busy. There are always a lot of people in there. I guess people who are moving try to get rid of furniture. There is a lot of nice used furniture available now. We bought 2 sofas, a chair and a coffee table from them. They are pretty good at marking down things and their prices are competitive. They do charge quite a bit to deliver. Their delivery charge is $75. Their salesmen are good without being pushy. They warn us about possible damage to the furniture. It is up to the buyer to check it out before buying the furniture.
