Description of Work: Chris showed up at my Home in Sun City Summerlin about 3 weeks ago and gave me an estimate to remodel my Master Bath, install in Marble in my Living Room/Dining Room and replace my old Corian tops with new Granite Countertops. The job estimate was just under $40,000. I gave him a deposit to purchase my materals at Marble Express which he did do and when he was ready to start the job he showed up late and insisted that he needed more money to do the work because he said he didn't charge me for the waterproofing and the setting materials. His estimate increased to almost $48,000. When i told him that I wasn't ging to pay anymore for my job than what was on the estimate he got very upset with me and left. A few hours later he started calling me wanting to know when he's going to get his money to start the job. Many phone calls later, i felt as if I was being harrassed and taken advantage of. This man would not go away unless he got money from me on labor he did not do. When I told him he was not going to do my Job a few days later he came to my door with a bill for $750.00 to cover his time to help me select materials at the distributor. He was not ever there with me. Again I felt I was being extorted by this man and I told him if he didn't leave I was going to all the police and have him remoed from the property for tressassing. This Chris Stefanos has a very verye nasty temper. Image trying to shake down someone for money he didn't earn. Avoid this man at all costs.
