Description of Work: Repaired a number of odd items to include replacing a baseboard and trimming a door. Very professional in manner and the result of the work was high quality.

Description of Work: Scheduling was super easy. Handy man identified himself and was right on time. He installed a dog door for me and did an excellent job. He was courteous and professional. Price was reasonable as well.

The reason I did not give them an A rating is that after the service tech left I noticed some type of product that had gotten on the bathroom vanity (from doing work on light fixture) which I still have not been able to remove. In fairness to LVH, I did not call to complain, I just chose to live with it.

Description of Work: I called this contractor for an estimate on a project to open a hole in my attic space to prepare for a solar panel installation. Upon our first appointment I was asking a few questions and he acted very impatient, even stating he had other jobs to get to as if mine was less important. He finally got back to me with the estimate and it was over $1000, again just to drill out a hole in the attic space. I have hired another company for the same project at a much lower rate and with much better professional manners.

Description of Work: They did various jobs... installed a new garbage disposal, installed a new light switch, fixed a broken toilet. etc.. They showed up on time and were very professional. They did all of the work with ease and did a great job. If I ever need a handyman again I will defiantly use them again.

Description of Work: He did nothing except reply to a couple of my texts to send photos of the job I wanted him to do and then get some feedback. He was slow to respond and then when he finally would, it was barely a response because it was so brief and blunt, including the use of exclamation points where none were necessary. He has yet to respond to my most recent request for him to break out the estimate for me in two parts since one of the two jobs was part of an insurance claim and the other out of my own pocket. He may or may not be a good handyman, I don't know. But I sense "attitude".

Description of Work: He did not contact me within the 48 hour period mentioned in the contract explanation. I started trying to reach him on the 3rd day. Let msg on his rccorder. This began on Jun 23. He finally sent a msg on Jun 28.Gave explanation that Angie's list personnel did not contact him or tell him I was trying to reach him. I did specify that he call me and left my #and he did not call my home at all. There was another msg in computer during holiday weekend.

Description of Work: We used them in the past and had a very good experience. So I made an appointment for 4/10/15, and they sent over a man to get our information for an estimate. I gave them a typed up wish list, which included among other things: installing a new water heater, installing a security door, and installing security film on our downstairs windows. They filled out an itemized list for labor and parts for each item that day in the office, but did not scan and email it to me until 4/16. The estimate for each item was very reasonable and the total was about $2500, with half due up front. However for some of the work, we were going to provide the parts, and we had not yet ordered them and did not know when we would be able to get them. So I replied with an email asking to divide the work into three jobs according to the parts we needed to get. After more than a week of no reply, I called the office. The person on the phone remembered the request to split the job and gave me the name of the person who would deal with that and said this person was busy on another project just then. I have not heard back. None of this work is urgent, but I would like to at least get the water heater replaced within the next year. If they contact me again, I would be happy to wait for a lull in their schedule.

Description of Work: We had a dog door installed. I purchased the door and the wall kit from Home depot my self. I purchased the wrong wall kit and Home Depot didnt have any so the handyman built the insert out of wood and installed it a couple days later, very professional and on time. Would use again.
